Fearlez: Romania is not a developed country!!!
Developed Country is a fixed term, not relative one.
Botswana is not even near the development level of South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Angola.
Please what is Bostwana manufacturing?
What is their technological innovation?
Health development?
Engineering?
Social development?
Botswana is a cardcarrying member of a 3rd world country. u know wat bro...lets leave it. U wont agree with me and i wont with u. If we get a landlocked biafra that looks like botswana..we have done much better for ourselves than we would have done in nigeria. If we then get a landlocked biafra that looks like romania...then i would die peacefully knowing that the future of the igbo tribe is bright as fvck |

Fearlez: The emboldened part of your statement signals the end of this discourse!
There's not one developed country in all of Africa! South Africa, during the apartheid era was considered developed by some but lost that status over the last two decades.
"All mighty" China is still being called emerging or newly developed!
Pleeeeeeeaaase! There's no developed country with a 15 Billion Dollar economy! And no developed country is a middle income county like Bostwana!
Gosh! And I did think you knew your stuff! of course i understand wat u mean wen u say there is no developed nation in africa. But there is wat is called relativity. Romania relative to e.u countries is a shithole..is romania not developed? It is. A few countries are ranked as developed, relative to others in africa..the map below shows them. The lighter the more developed. Most developed are in the north. I studied development economics and i can tell u now that the term 'developed' is now used tongue-in-cheek because of so many variables that are now introduced. For instance homicide rate in developed u.s is higher than in undeveloped ghana. The most used index for national development now is hdi..that is why i will say that botswana is developed. It has one of the highest hdi in sub sahara

Fearlez: I don't know where you pull your stats from but Botswana is a laughable economy of $15 billion. That's less than Dangote's net worth!
With a population of 2 Million people, that beggars GDP will go round the while country. Still Botswana isn't even in the maps of Africa's biggest economy.
You're measuring GDP per capita to gauge Botswana's wealth. That's misleading and false.
And please don't ever say Botswana is second most developed country in sub Saharan Africa , it's just a low-level lie.
What are they manufacturing or exporting other than raw materials?
Please Biafra landlocked after breaking away from hostile region is doomed.
Have you ever seen Bistwana playing international politics or reaching beyond her borders? No.
Botswana's survivability is dependent on her neighbours, like Biafra without sea access. botswana is a developed nation. Google it. But i even compared them with other small sized nation with sea access...gambia and mauritania...why are they not doing as good as landlocked botswana? Since ur argument is that once u are not landlocked that u will grow fast? Why cant gambia over take botswana. Which country do u think is the 2nd most developed subsaharan nation? I repeat we dont need ikwerre. We want them sure...but we dont need them Should we drop our biafra agitation because ikwerre says they are not igbo? Do u think that u as a nigerian is in anyway better than an average guy from somalia? |

Instead of you to advocate for merging of states. no...we must play the fool to catch a fool. We must be at equal footing with the north to really take control of the country. We need to have 19 southern states just like the north has 19 northern state For now, the north has 7 senators more than the south and up to 30 reps more than the south. We cant get anything passed in the national assembly if the north doesnt want. |
Politics › South West Is The Power Base Of The South: From An Igbo Native by selemempe(op): 7:35pm On Aug 02, 2018*. Modified: 9:23pm On Aug 02, 2018 |
The North west which is the seat of the caliphate is the power base of the north...and by extention, Nigeria. They have the population. Much of the politics played by the north is backed by north west. They produced the first northern premiere, the highest number of nigeria's head of state and they have the highest number of states (7 states) in the north and by extension, nigeria.
The south west is the power base of the south. They have the population and have produced the highest national leaders of southern extraction.
However, because of the perpetual inability of the south west to carry other southerners along and to take the same position with other southern zones, the sw has suffered the same serial disrespect that the rest of the south has suffered from the north west.
We know that the south west can match the north west in population, in international links (there are yorubas in benin republic just as there are hausa/fula in niger republic) and in wealth. However the south west cannot match the north west in political power. We saw this clearly when the north killed Abiola like a common criminal and nothing happened. It is time we in the south come together and correct this. A strong south west would be beneficial to the entire south. A south west that can match the north west in the national assembly number to number.
If the north west must have 7 states, then the south west must also have 7 states. Its time to create oya state out of kwara and kogi and join them into the south west to make the sw 7 states strong. If the north east will have 6 states, then the south east should also have 6 states. Its time to create Anioma state out of Delta and Rivers state and join them into south east .
We are grossly out numbered in the national assembly by the north. The states created were done by northern military dictators the way it favoured the north. Its time to correct some of the deeds done by past nigerian dictators. We must start from state creation. The south must come together on this. We need 2 more states in the south- one in south west and one in south east.
I say again the south west is the north west of the south. It should be the political power base of the south and i believe a stronger south west would be beneficial to the entire south. Let us all join hands and give the south 2 more states |

NgeneUkwenu: How can a whole Senate Majority leader not understand his duties as a Leader of the Senate?
Why is the National Assembly filled with empty heads?
I mean what is Lawan doing in the face of the legislative rascality being carried by Saraki?
Why is he begging Saraki and his gangs to to resume when he has the power to do so?
The Senate rule stipulates that when the Senate is in recess and there is matter of urgent importancy, a written application signed by not less than 1/3 Of the entire senate members shall be presented to the Senate President asking him to call for an urgent sitting to attend to the matter... If he refuses the quorum has already been formed. So they have every power to enter the chamber and carry out their legislative duties..
Is that too difficult for that fatty orobo Senate leader? see as u just dey mis fire since last week |

Fearlez: A $70 billion dollar economy will always be the fastest because it's like a child growing everyday still at the budding stages.
Meanwhile Ethiopia has been the only African country not to be colonised and has remained as a country for centuries building and growing when the rest of Africa was blundered by colonialism. That's very poor argument from you.
Besides Togo is just 7 million in total population.
Compare Ethiopia with tiny Angola, or South Africa or Nigeria, stop looking for a 7 million population Togo for comparison.
Please which Niger Delta community will you lobby to open up the River Niger? bro landlocked botswana is the 2nd most developed and richest sub saharan country...it has a population of 2 million..no oil. Compare it with gambia and mauritania...similar population...access to the sea..but shit holes. If nigeria splits only in 2 (nigeria and biafra)...things might be difficult if we dont have ph. But can our govt get us a good deal with the nigerian authorities to keep river niger open? Hell yeah! If nigeria splits into many countries then even better...we can battle ijaw for ikwerre land...or we can negotiate with ijaw to keep river niger open for us...in exchange of helpin them fight their battles any time |

NgeneUkwenu: Head, Tail, Hand And Foot, There is no combination that will defeat President Buhari.
If they field Atiku: He may not win any State in North aside few states in the North Central (Benue and Plateau)
In the South West, he will be so demarketed before the election that he will struggle to garner 300,000 ,votes across the 6 states.
. In the South South and South East, he will run neck to neck with Buhari in the total vote cast
If they field Saraki: He will only win Kwara and Benue states in the entire North.
He will lose woefully in the South West even worse than ATIKU as he is widely known as a betrayal.
In the South South and South East, He will run neck to neck with Buhari...
If they field Kwankwaso: He will do well in the North, but will not garner up to 35% against Buhari in the core North and there will be voter's apathy in the North Central, as they see both Kwankwaso/Buhari as the same thing..
He will fail woefully in the South West, worse than Atiku or Saraki.
In the South South / South East, he will get less votes than Atiku, Saraki or Buhari.
If the field Tambuwal. Buhari may as well go to sleep on the election and wake up to be sworn in without breaking a sweat.
This man will not win any State outrighly outside 2 or 3 states in the South East/South South..
The rest like Lamido, Makarfi and Shekarau are not worth discussing..
