The OP's post infuriates me but since it's breaking no forum rules and it aims to discuss/determine the origin and ethnicity of the Super Eagles players, I'll let it stay. I'm watching it closely though. . . . |

No space for Frederick Kanoute, Mustapha Hadji, Joel Tiehi, Odartey Lamptey, Lucas Radebe, Edward Ansah? And you have Joseph Antoine Belle and Thomas N'kono in the Top 10 whilst players like *Rabha Madjer*, Rashidi Yekini, Kanu Nwankwo, Tony Yeboah etc are ranked between 20 - 30? Ridiculous! If I were an editor of a sports paper and I ask you to come up with a ranking of African Greatest Footballers and you give me this, I'll toss it into the bin straight. |
The maths does not add up. If his viewing centre sits 100 people and he charges N100 per head, he'll make N10,000 which is way short of the 6-digit figure he claims he made from the Nigeria-Burkina Faso match. |
She wrote, produced (financed) and directed the movie herself, I'm impressed E be like sey she hold pepper wella cos I know sey Genevieve and Omo-T no dey collect chicken change ![]() Still, I can't help noticing she has no concrete plans to prevent piracy of the film now that it's on DVD. She says she'll sell and the pirates will sell too meaning she accepts it'd be pirated but how is this possible when the pirated bootlegged copy will be cheaper than the original? Reading her interview, I now appreciate all the difficulty in making a movie and I duff my hat to all aspiring film makers. |
ITbomb: .Oga ITbomb, I posted on your thread and got it going. You can return the favour too you know ![]() |
Alright, this thread is just the Phone Version of ITBomb's Thread - The 5 Most Important Applications On Your PC For me, it's 1. OperaMini - we all know what it's used for. 2. Mr Recorder- it runs silently in the background and automatically records all my calls (in-coming & out-going). 3. MobiReader - I've got lots of e-books in prc format on my phone and it's this app I use for reading 'em. 4. MSDict 7 Viewer - very important with all the installed dictionary modules like Acronymic, Synonymus, CALD, Thesaurus, English Essentials, Business, Medical, idioms etc 5. X-plore - a file explorer with multiple functionality. Let's hear yours. . . . . |
@ Moonraker, kudos. Coping with all the numerous questions and enquiries on a thread like this is hard work. On behalf of my self + others you helped on the Windows 8 thread and those you've helped on this thread, I say thank you ![]() |

Jarus: Emenike: Highest goal scorer in the tournament. Our best performer, no doubt. He didn't waste teh chances. Keeps reminding me of Yekini. He is a typical centre forward. 7.I agree with Jarus' Player Rating. Lemme add a few words on playing as a striker. Playing as a Top 9 (centre forward), particularly as a lone one is perhaps the most difficult thing to do in football. At every point in a game, a 9 has two defenders marking him and at most he's allowed only two touches on the ball. Defenders will hassle & rough-handle him all day and it's always a thug of war between the striker and the 2 central defenders. He must be a v.fast thinker (not more than 3secs) & decisive, have eyes at the back and front of his head, must have good positioning sense, anticipate his own players, his team's play & opposing defenders, make "dummy" runs to shake off his markers and free himself, ability to hold up the ball and bring team mates into play when necessary and most importantly bury the chances when he gets 'em. Emenike did most of this Yesterday against Zambia. His goal was a typical centre forward's. . .Mikel wins the ball, he runs into space for the anticipated pass and when it comes, he side-steps a defender and puts the ball in the net. His first touch was impeccable and the execution was sublime. Anyone who says Emenike doesn't deserve at least a 7 doesn't know football and has never played a match on a full pitch in his life. |
Na 2-0 be this match. . .Nigeria to win of course |
honeric01: Keita is one of the most useful players we're missing right now, i wish he was invited, he plays with his heart and very useful. a great 4. forget the outburst, he's human, his contribution to SE was immerse. all the same, we have to make do with what we have right now.GBAM! After the U-20 WYC in Holland, Siasia was asked who his MVP of the team was and he picked Sanni Keita. It takes someone who REALLY watches football to appreciate hardworking and "un-flamboyant" players like Sanni Keita, Garba Lawal etc He was also my best player of the Nigerian team at that U-20 WYC. I don't know if his current form and if he's playing actively now so I wouldn't know about him being invited to this team though |
dominique: The ref kept dashing your players mtn cards, you stood back did nothing. blew for an handball that wasn't even close to one. na so you siddon look, then finally gave your player a red for an offense that wasn't even a bookable one. Good captain indeed! Don't let me get started on the costly mistakes he made on the pitch. What are you on about? Didn't you see Yobo and some of the other players confronting the referee and protesting some of the calls in our match against Burkina Faso? Just in case you've forgotten, too much dissent and protest could fetch a player a card |
Lol. . I know a NLDer who could learn a thing or two from this video ![]() |
Hehehehe. . . .funny ![]() Thought the intruder will leave in annoyance when she saw what was posted to FB about her but no she even took time to finish her drink elebi oshi! Now this is how to get rid of unwanted visitors ![]() |
Whether On-Stage or On-Screen, most Naija Actors and Actresses tend to get too melodramatic. . .even a seasoned actress like Joke Silva overdoes her roles at times. Only very few (and not all the time) give measured & believable performances. As for the harder of the two, I think it's stage acting. If you eff up, you don eff up be that. In my third year in school, I witnessed the Theatre Arts Final Year Students stage a play. I think it was part of their final assessment as there were 4 men and a lady (The lecturers/Assessors I think) sitting in front on a long high table with assorted drinks and score-sheets and occasionally making some comments on paper. I had a birds-eye view and I could see every. . .both the stage and the back-stage. You should have seen the students looking all nervous, tensed up & fearful and doing last minute rehearsal of their lines/roles at the back. As in, I could literally feel the tension in the air. There was this particular dude. . .when it got to his part, he made his entrance and did his thing and exited when he was through. As hin enter back-stage, na so hin go down on hin knees begin dey pray/thank God sey hin no eff up. . .Father, I thank you! You have not forsaken me! bla bla bla. As in, I was shocked as I didn't know it was that serious. Before that time, I had always viewed Theatre Arts as one yeye course and the students as a bunch of un-serious people who play through out their time in school (cos even their rehearsals be like sey dem dey play) but now I see them differently and I've got enormous respect for those actors/actresses who strut their stuff on stage. E No Easy, I tell ya ![]() Hope this makes it merrier ![]() |
The least any of those laptops will go for is N100K |
On-Stage vs On-Screen Acting. . .what exactly is being debated (abi na discussed) here? The harder of the two? |
