We are getting reports that Stephen Keshi, who less than 24 hours ago, led the Super Eagles to the victory in the Africa Cup of Nations, has resigned as coach of the national team.

According to SuperSport presenter, Robert Marawa, who revealed the information on Twitter, ‘The Big Boss’ confirmed his departure from the post, in an interview with a radio station in South Africa.

He tweeted: “Stephen Keshi has just announced that he handed over his resignation letter after the game exclusively on 083Sport@6With Marawa on MetroFM”

The Nigeria Football Federation is yet to confirm this development, even as the team and officials are expected back in the country, where they will be received by President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Nigerian coach has submitted his resignation to the Nigerian Football Federation, after a dramatic falling out with the federation
Even though Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi won the Super Eagles the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title on Sunday, just a day later he's resigned from his position.

Keshi did tell Goal.com a few days before the final, that he would 'pack his bags and leave' if he felt he was not wanted, and it is a surprising turn of events after the coach was highly praised from all quarters.

The two-time Afcon champion is revealing his resignation on Metro FM radio in South Africa right now.

toba: You guys are really missing the point.

Whats the need for review and constructive criticism? we watch nollywood and a movie shot in 2007, having a flash back of 1998, with a bill board of MTN that came to Nigeria in 2001 at the background. how does that add up?

You've claimed to have shut a movie in Italy, whereas you're faking it. Should be all be fooled and swallow the lies? its not compulsory to travel to shoot films but dont just make things up.

Drug tests conducted on 42 Redeemer University students last year returned with 28 positive results leading to the expulsion of 28 students who allegedly failed the tests. The decision of the university has however sparked controversy, new reports show.

According to news reports, when the students resumed this year, some of them received information that they “tested positive” and soon afterwards, last Friday, they got expulsion letters; others got theirs on Monday February 4.

Immediately the affected students protested on the expulsion complaining that they were not given a fair hearing.

Despite their reaction, the institution’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Adetunji Adeleye, said the decision was taken in line with the school’s values and philosophy “to raise godly children”.

“A student was caught with an illicit drug. He mentioned others involved and we took them to the school clinic for tests. Some of them tested positive,” Adeleye said.

Reports also claim the students were not legally informed before the tests were taken which some felt infringed on their rights. Some others also alleged that they never saw the actual results from the test to prove they tested positive and didn’t even know what drugs they were tested for.

one of the expelled students, who preferred anonymity told reporters: “I only saw in the expulsion letter that I tested positive to hard drugs. I asked for the result of the test, but they didn’t show me. Even if they won’t show it to me, they should at least show my parents the result.”

“They should have at least set up a panel of enquiry and if the panel finds us guilty, so be it,” another student said.

Adeleye confirmed the allegations but defended it saying: “There is no need to show the students the results because the university cannot conspire against them.”

“Nobody should think anybody hates those students. It’s not spurious. In fact, it is even painful for us because we are losing revenue by sending them away. But it’s a painful decision we must take in our quest to raise students that will transform the world. The expelled students are those that refused the university’s lifeline of a second chance.

“We wanted to help them. The university has a programme designed to help them live a normal life, but they rejected the offer. A few of them accepted and they are undergoing the programme.”

Adeleye was asked why then had he not reported the case to the authorities if students tested positive for hard drugs but he replied saying the school was not going to play the role of the police nor the narcotics agency to arrest students and the situation was now handled by the Vice-Chancellor who was considering a review.

Camry With Stripped Head Bolts

I am a service center owner and technician of over 40 years in SC. Recently, a 2003 Camry LE w/ 70,000 miles came into my shop with a coolant leak. I consulted this forum and others to find proof of the same instance in the Toyota Camry. I write this in response to some posts I read on this site. This is to be informative for those in similar situations.

To do the exam, we pressurized the cooling system and put the car up on the lift. We immediately noticed coolant leaking from underneath the plastic INT intake Manifold in the rear of the engine. I also noticed a Large piece of foam rubber between the Intake Manifold and the Engine Block and Head. This was blocking our view of the leak. We could only see that the leak was behind the foam piece. The only option to discover the source of this leak was to remove the plastic intake manifold, which I did. After this was removed, it became obvious that coolant had been leaking a minor amount for quite some time due to build up between the cylinder head and block.

The only option left is to remove the head, which requires an exstensive disassembly (R and R cylinder head). After Loosening the bolts in sequence, I notice the head bolts in the back of the engine are loose. From my experience in the field, I can confidently conclude that this only means one of two things: The bolts were left loose at the factory, or the Bolts are stripped. ( I commonly have seen stripped bolts in the Aluminum Cadillac North Star Block discovered through leaking coolant.)

Next, I removed the head and sure enough, one bolt came out with aluminum in the thread...thus indicating a stripped bolt.

MY THEORY: The placement of the (insulation) foam rubber piece between the Intake Manifold and the engine block created an uneven dispersion of heat, creating "metal fatigue" in the aluminum block allowing the headbolt to strip.

If Toyota had out an Aluminum Manifold instead of Plastic, there would have been no need to insulate (w/ foam piece), thus eliminating the probem.

The only solution to this problem is to unforunately replace the engine. The cost to repair it otherwise would be substantial. This is an engine defect and we WILL be seeing more of this.
