Hehehe. . .reminds me of a certain Arsene Wenger who is always bragging that he's not afraid of meeting Barca in the knock out stages of the UCL and coincidentally or by "wuruwu", Arsenal ends up meeting Barca and then they're dumped out of the UCL.

Keshi might just get what he wants

Foreign Affairs › Re: Obama Vs Romney: U.S. Presidential Debate On 16th October 2012 by semid4lyfe(m): 7:15am On Oct 16, 2012
CFCfan: @ AlterEgo: I think President Obama has to walk a tight rope in this debate. Being a town-hall format, frequently interrupting Mr Romney might portray him in a negative light amongst independents/undecided voters. The same tight rope also applies to Mitt Romney.
True but it doesn't apply to Romney as much as it applies to Obama.

Obama has his work cut out for him.

Romney portrayed himself as a "moderate technocrat" in the first debate so Obama has to cast him in a different light, his true light and remind Americans of who Romney really is.

He has to portray Romney as being "policy promiscuous" and a flip-flop, a liar, an extremist and dangerous for world peace. . .and he has to be forceful but appear "presidential" while doing this. Not an easy job IMO.

Immigration and Bin-Laden's capture are +Ves for Obama but the Libya thing kinda neutralizes that too and will hurt him.

Romney has more leeway and will most likely win this second debate.

Since the app was launched three weeks ago, it has been downloaded 10,000 times. So far, 70 percent of the purchases have been by women.
The above is worrying. Over 10,00 downloads and 70% by women? shocked

bennie1980: This is a good addition to the Super Eagles. Keshi, please grab him with both hands. You are welcome lad!
Question - Are you based in Germany?

I ask cos this is the 2nd thread you've created promoting Germany-based players for invitation to the National team, the first being the thread for Chinedu Ede of FC Mainz.

@ topic, he refused to pick Keshi's call sometime back, what has caused his change of mind?
Sports › Re: Super Eagles' All-time Highest Goal Scorers by semid4lyfe(mod): 6:30pm On Oct 15, 2012
Jarus: Musa is no Okocha. He has potential to become a Finidi, but hell no, not yet Finidi until he perfects his crossing.
Personally, I'm beginning to have second thoughts about Ahmed Musa.

I mean, he showed so much potential when he first burst on to the scene but since then I haven't seen any improvements.

His game is still characterized by poor judgement calls, poor passing, poor delivery of crosses, pushing the ball too much and often times out of play, little or non-existent dribbling skills, difficulty cutting inside defenders, poor nodding skill etc etc

The only thing he has going for him is his speed. In short, his game is still at the same level it was when he was first discovered. I'll pick Nnamdi Oduamadi, Victor Moses and even the left-footed Ejike Uzoenyi ahead of Musa for my wing positions any day.

No, we need a JJ - a central midfielder, ball distributor, skills bag and entertainer. We need it. It instills fears in opponents, makes matches enjoyable and not boring.

We don't have a JJ and we need one.
Football has evolved and many teams now play a more compact formation without the traditional central midfielder so I'm not too sure about that but it all boils down to Keshi and his playing philosophy/formation.

No two players are the same and the FACT is if he no be JJ, e no fit play like Jay-Jay

Still, I liked what I saw on Saturday in the midfield with the trio of Obiorah Nwankwo, Mikel Obi and Nosa Igiebor with Obiorah Nwankwo playing as the DM, Mikel as a deep-lying midfielder and Nosa Igiebor playing in a more advanced midfield role. Me thinks it's the way forward for the Nigerian team.

I was particularly impressed by Nosa Igiebor on Saturday and IMO he's the closest thing to a JJ in the team.

Victor Moses should also be tried in an advanced midfield position.

Out of the three corps members, Okochi could hardly write the Roman figures from one to 10 in words, just as she could not write three states and their capitals. She could not provide the names of two major rivers in Nigeria, just as she failed to name three countries that share border with Nigeria.

Akunna, according to the documents, was rejected by Kings College, Lagos, after it was discovered that she was grossly incompetent to perform her duties.

A further test on her by the Lagos state NYSC secretariat revealed that though a graduate of Electricals/Electronics, she never passed any of the science subjects at the secondary school level.

The third fellow, Chukwuebuka, who was posted to Niger state, was rejected by a nursery/primary school known as FEMA Schools because of his inability to read and write.

Having been rejected by two employers, he had to be reposted by Niger state NYSC to a bakery, pending the final determination of his case by the NYSC national headquarters.

When queried on his incompetence, Chukwuebuka proved his incompetence when he responded in writing: “I awarded a degree in Enugu State University of Science and Technology I have a probeam in my university am manegn my siefe to funsh my school.”
The highlighted is really bad shocked undecided

Now that third pics of the Ivory Coast players ducking for their life in that container is funny grin

I never expected Senegal to recover from the 2 goals deficit but CAF sef. . .what were they thinking drawing Senegal and Ivory Coast together?

It's sad that Senegal with their quality would miss out of the Nations cup and they could miss out of the 2015 Nations cup too if CAF wields the big hammer with severity undecided
