ferhyntorlah: It's Yinka Davies.Thank you jare. . .God bless you Post modified and error corrected ![]() |
chucky234: Public voting surely is doing no good to Project Fame and the Idols, the worst or not too good contestant always end up winner.Guy, I agree with you 100%. The bolded was so shocking Funmi Davies and the other judges could not hold back their surprise and disappointment. You need to have seen the expression on Funmi Davies face when Yeka Onka was announced as winner. She was shocked. . .her eyes were bulging, mouth was agape and she leaned across the table as if she wanted to speak into the mic and rescind that result. Yeka herself wasn't expecting to win and it took some precious seconds before she realised her name had been announced and she reacted. I'll rate that as the greatest |
safarigirl: Guy, you're wrong. Jankoliko was a hit, it even made No. 1 on MTV Base's top 10 africa chart. Kedike is doing very well, Mike's Fine Fine Lady won an NMVA. Just say you prefer noise to blues and end it there, don't assume there aren't millions who would pay millions to get a classy performance, most Nigerians are not part of these people unfortunately. Btw, IN YOUR FACE! Nigerian Idols, Ayo won!Shuo! Madam, me and you get quarrel before cos this your venom dey too much for this kain "holy" Sunday morning? To reiterate my point, let me draw up a list of the 10 biggest "young" Nigerian acts right now (in no particular order) give or take there'll be 2 or 3 differences 1. 2Face 2. D'banj 3. P-Square 4. Asa 5. Naeto C 6. Banky W 7. J. Martins 8. M.I 9. Flavour Nabania 10. Wizkid I'm sure your own list will read Mike, Iyanya, Chidinma, Timi, Omawunmi shey? BTW, wetin be the big deal about topping chat? DJ Jimmy Jat no top MTV Base Africa chat with "stylee"? Modenine no top MTV Base chat with "cry"? Shey Thoroughbreds and Resonance no top SoundCity chat with "streethop" and "le le" respectively? Babe, leave that thing anybody fit top chat at any point in time. As for award, that one sef no be point after all many mushroom awards shows dey around. Sasha, Mo'cheddah, Olamide etc have all won awards but were dem dey today. What matters in the Naija music industry is that street acceptance & staying power over the years. If Ayo like, make hin go dey sing blues like Timi, O-Y-O na hin e go dey and he'll never blow. Peeps need something they can gyrate to and that's why Inyanya's "kukere" is such a hit. . .a MONSTER hit |
MR XELA: ehhhe see u... Who are u xpectin 2 win if not him. I love dat guy ryt 4rm day 1 his d best... If u watch nigeria idol season 1 last year, he was their but he didnt win... I tink he was like 12th person... Hmmmmm am just happy 4 him seriously he deservd it...So he was in Nigerian Idols last year? No be na wa, a real wa . See as people just dey jump from one reality music show to another the way monkey dey jump from tree to tree Nobody wan do regular office work anymore. All man believe sey na hin be the next 2Face, Dbanj, Asa etc. It's Okay. I respect their hussle |
Ishilove: I operate best in a serene environment devoid of distractions. Later in the week I promise to give you a much longer narration. PromisePromise and Failure = SIN. I'll hold you to your words |
aieromon: I bought a 9800 battery from the Slot Blackberry Shop in July last year and the crap has packed up whereas the used battery that came with the AT$T branded phone is still working fine.Lol. . .you should know. By the way, how the Phone Biz? I hear sey u don dey rival the Slots of this world ![]() |
Miss Ope: Guys i heard Ayo won....the news is everywhere ....pls how true is dis....still dont believe it jeffoski: Heard Ayo won. Mavellous 2nd,Adetoun 3rd and Ella 4th.If na so then am very happy o. The vote is really fair and true this year. They didn't put Musylyn with Ojoro as I thought .This 4 are really the best and am glad the prices went to them.Am really Happy Ella got something.with her short stay in the house she could get 1M,imagine if she was there from day 1.I really wish them all the best but make we see how d show go be.CONFIRMED! https://thenetng.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Ayo.jpghttp://thenetng.com/news/breaking-news-ayo-wins-project-fame-season-5/ |

Cuddlemii: You guys are talking too muchMadam, which one you dey. . .shey you no see wetin toba post abi na lie ![]() toba: marvellous has won already |
aieromon: Slot has been running this store for months. Kini big deal?Maybe but it was just officially opened this week. . . . . |
toba: this is to semid my friend.Lol, don't get me wrong, I never doubted their musical prowess and ability from day one. I'll be the first to admit that the ex-Project Famers all have v.good voices (better than the D'banj's, 2Face's, Wizkid, PSquare, 9ice, M.I etc that rule our music industry) and are great performers on stage but they're all yet to BLOW and do great things like the afore mentioned artistes. You and I know it takes more than having a "Mariah Carey" voice and being able to hit the high notes to make it in the Naija music Industry. I mean, look at Davido. . .shey that one fit pass screening/audition to enter any musical talent hunt competition ni? Hell No! But today his "Damiduro" song is a monster hit and is getting mad airplay on radio & TV. YES, the Project Famers are undoubtedly talented (musically) and they wow the audience & viewers during the show but then none of them has gone on from there to make it "big time" Mike's "fine fine" lady was a flop. Chidinma's "jankoriko" no too hit like that. Kesse & Nicholas, don't even go there. . .who dash monkeys banana lol. Of the lot, only Omawunmi & Nyanya have had relative success with their hit songs "get in the music" & "kukere" so wetin be the success ratio? Guy to SMS, I still stand by my earlier post which says: semid4lyfe: All these singing competitions Project Fame WA, Nigerian Idols, West African Idols etc are a waste of time IMO. |
Finally, but I doubt Nigerian sales will impact much on their global sales as a large percentage of BB users bought/buy their phones fairly used. |
Lol, why am I not surprised by this thread? Maybe it's because I know Odunnu has a history of falling "maga", that is being too trusting and sympathetic to people ![]() |
Hmmm. . . .you were really swimming in "maya" before you got introduced to M _ _ ![]() |

At first glance, they’re partially surreal, and wholly terrifying. But the second mouths on neck, open stitches revealing superficial muscles, and the bionic pistons breaking through the flesh on a person’s arm, are actually not real. Rather, they are hyper-realistic tattoos created by talented tattoo artists. Venezuelan artist Yomico Moreno, who works out of Caracas, has inked a variety of tattoos, ranging from sinister to downright surreal. Among his works are bionic arms, layers of skin ‘peeled back’ to reveal a beating heart, and the somewhat less dystopic images of ladybugs and butterflies. His attention to detail is apparent, meticulously adding shadows, shading, and dimension to his work, creating what is undeniably art - though not the kind typically seen in museums. He told Tattoo Tree in an interview last year that he began taking interest in tattooing at the age of 14, and has since dedicated his life to the craft of permanently inking skin. The artist said that knowledge is the cornerstone for his often fantastical work. Odunnu: Is it so difficult making this suggestion in that Seun's thread? Are you allergic to orderliness? Not only that. . .and what's with every Tom, Dick and Harry thinking Seun owes them favours. If hin advert rate no pay una, carry your advert go somewhere else. . . .Chikena! |
ijebabe: It was mentioned the movie was shot with a Red digital camera which is really up there in cinematography. Movies like The Great Gatsby (which I am dying to watch featuring Leonardo DiCaprio), Resident Evil 5, Underworld, Pirates of the Carribean, to name a few, have been shot using this camera.Na by camera? ![]() |

ijebabe: ^ The photos are watermarked by Associate Press as you can see. The ones not watermarked....you just want to know if I am a photographer like you rightOk, no p. Still from the synopsis, I can't help but wonder if this Jetta Amata's Black November is not just a reboot of the BBC's Niger-Delta movie, Blood and Oil (2010) that starred Naomie Harris & David Oyelowo? ![]() |
