TonyeBarcanista:

winners
of Conventions are determined by;
1. Those with high connections
2. Those that gets those that CONTROLS
delegates to themselves.
3. Those that uses money to buy delegates.
It is not determined by noisemaking or those
with loud Governors. Can you compare
delegates controlled by Kashamu and those by
Ayp Fayose(that is restricted to Ekiti)?

Hello even Govs do lose out in convention and
congresses(ask Ladoja 2006 and Ambadinuju
2003) or Read how Sheriff beat his
predecessor even though they were same party
in 2003. Gosh....

in addition: Chief Dokpesi is behind SK while the wife of Ize Iyamu only recently hailed Segun. These are men that controls delegates in Edo state and have influence outside. Do you know the relationship between Dokpeai and IBB that controls large chunk of NC delegates? Do you think prominent SE members with delegates are interested in Ayo Fayose candidate? Did you see the "Sheriff must go crusade" of Northern PDP elders? These are people that controls delegates and they aren't in sync with Ayo Fayose.

This is party politics bro

Bro, Time will tell and you will know that politics is dynamic and interest is key

I ask you to tell us when last did SK or Segun criticize the policies and programs of Govs or ruling party either in their states or at federal in their own capacity, you are yet to tell us.

Lere has been in the media more compare to these guys and what PDP needs now is a Young and vibrant candidate with Key info who can sway the minds of the youths to endear them to the party and not some docile candidates who hardly speak or even run any social media platform where opinions are sieved .
PDP is at the brinks and need someone who can cause stir and rock the boat as well

its just few days and we shall call each other attention to the results, I hope no one will cry fowl play then.
Goodluck and best wishes

TonyeBarcanista:

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way.

factionalised PDP in Lagos(Koto and George) has no effect here. beside both are NOT for Fayose and are fronting for Sola Kuti. The Ogun state Financier Kashamu will most likely settle for Sola Kuti at the end(note that Sola team is entreated to both camps). In Ondo state, it isMimiko base and Lere has no stand there. apart from Ekiti, Lere has no sure place. Now TeamSK has even gone beyond SW to other regions like in the South and North. Fayose and Lere are afraid of elections hence, trying so hard to narrow it to Ekiti so as not to have opposition but TeamSK called that a JOKE. Even Kashamu said it should be opened.

BTW: It is about who controls delegates and money bag not who has Governor. Kashamu isn't a governor but he has 5x more delegates than Mimiko and Fayose combined that are Governors.
SK will win....

Your analysis sound more of an interested party to reality.

Note that Govs have say in where delegates switch their votes .
As at this period, Both factions in Ogun and Lagos have not settle for same candidate and I can assure you that it is easier for Fayose to penetrate the SS,SE and northern govs compare to KAshamu and Bode or Koro who does not have much electoral values as at today politics.

Fayose criticism of this govt have given PDP some leeway and the party could just compensate him for his consistency by anointing his candidate .
More so, If not for election, hardly had anyone heard of these other candidates compare to Lere who have feature more in the media and people will consider him as a candidate who have vibrancy and consistency .

when Last have the 2 other candidates criticize the govt in their states or federal in their private capacity on policy and issue base.

Govs hold the axe when it comes to delegates voting in any congress election and I am sure you know this very well .

Who dash am? is it by noise? There are delegates from 37 Chapters(Plus FCT) that will elect not just Ekiti delegates.

Sola Kuti will win

Who are the backers of other candidates

Note that Fayose's support for Modu may spring the magic for Lere as Modu will ensure delegates from the North vote for Lere . Fayose and Wike seems to be the major strong guys in the PDP govs settings and Wike could assist him to get SS votes as well.

The other 2 candidates wont have base supports cause their states are ruled by opposition and there wont be such codination of dlegates compare to when the state is control by the Gov who is presenting its own candidate as well.

Lagos and Ogun have factions as we speak while Ekiti does not .

These are factors that will work for Lere

I will prefer Lere Olayinka .
He is a young man with vibrancy filled with media surprises and vibrant critics who will pull some strings and endear quality opposition in the mainstream of our politics .

Even if PDP might not win the General Election, let them give us stiff and quality opposition that will put the ruling party on track

But hope this is not the reason Fayose trade off the chairmanship position proposed for SW to NE so that his candidate (lere) could fit into the position

After their aims are achieved, The same politicians who sponsor them will abandon them to their hopeless states again and the hunger and sufferings continue.

Until we have a genuine protest borne out of real passion for our dear country devoid of partisanship where people come out to deal with leaders who don't give a damn about us irrespective of party or social and ethnic affiliations .

when Saraki leaves eventually, the executhieves will play another kite that they cannot perform, cos their own man is not the SP.
Another flimsy and cheap excuses of non performamnce start again and we will start chasing another shadow agian.

All what the executhieves craved for is just a rubber stamp NASS headed by men whose balls is in their hands.

How come CLO and others kept sealed lips when the executhieves budgeted outrageous funds for their own vehicles, feedings and presidential expenses including rent for Aso rock.

Where were they when the budget was padded, Fuel scarcity lingering, economy is logjam, govt run as secret cult where information are hoarded and no one knows the direction of the govt again.

God will help them to achieve their aims but God will then punish them if that protest have political undertone and not for the interest of the masses .

In essence, what you are implying is that saraki should be convicted at all cost even if evidence says contrary so as to prove that PMB is fighting corruption.

It does not work that way.
It has nothing to do with PMB fight against corruption.
Both FGN and saraki lawyers are to prove their case with evidence while the judge gives his judgement which will be tested up to supreme court

This is a crap and one of the antics of the enemies of the judiciary to bring it to disrepute.

now that the judge ruled against him, does it mean the link and call logs wi die down.

So the top security official from the govt circle is also privy to the judgement of the judge and can hide his many sins as much as hhe cooperate with them to nail saraki.

It's getting clearer that the stuff is fluke nd nonsensical.

Truth be told that the president have made it clear even before the budet was send to him that he will take his time to sign the budget , part of the tactics of buying time is to ensure there is a bit of controversy like the Lagos - Calabar project which the presidency knew that it was not in the original budget and could as well be presented as supplementary budget to the House for inclusion and approval.

So funny that we are beginning to fall for the antics of the govt who have employed the use of media to engaged and distract our attention while he achieved the needed time to accent the bill and do the needful.

The Lagos-calabar rail project is just a side attraction to keep us busy pending when the president arrives from his trip and push for a supplementary budget which is what is expected and not this hullabaloo we are experiencing
