Like I told you before, among the barrage of comments I made on this issue, you only picked one and based your argument on it. So, please, go through my comments again, and you'll see where I stated that everyone is guilty.

And I'll have you know that it might surprise you when you'll hear that the school principle walked away from this incident with just a slap on the wrist.

The girls actions, (which her parents failed to mention but gave us sensational story by omitting vital details) caused all this. Your mates are asked to do something, and you refused because you are Wonder Woman.

And I remember giving you an answer which I'm not surprised you failed to see because like you, you only see what you want to see, not what you need to see. You're suffering from scotoma.

Why do you keep dodging the aspect of my question where I asked what your reaction would be if that lady happens to be your daughter.

it seems you are related to the principal, ittle wonder you support her and her foot soilders for inflicting injuries on a child all in the name of discipline.

Thank God I shared links of incidence where teachers of your likes have killed students in the guise of discipline.

Sue the government kor! Sue the government nii! When this news broke out, I said it that the parents of the girl omitted vital details about the happenings of this thing.

Imagine the flimsy excuse she gave when asked to carry out her duty when others who have the same head with her carried theirs out without complaining.

I'm in no way supporting the actions of the principal and teachers, but hey, if this girl had simply done what she was told to do, all this could have been avoided!.

As a teacher, I know these kids will give the flimsiest of excuse just to escape during what they're suppose to do. If the girl was really sick, why did she even come to school.

The Lagos state government should punish everybody involved. The head girl, the girl that was flogged and the teachers also. All must be punished and no one should be spared!.

So you could come to terms that every one now should be punished but initially when the news broke out, you condemned the little girl and queue behind the so call prefect and her cruel teachers and principal .

Just keep your tab on this story and see how those teachers and principal will be dealt with for applying emotions to discipline of that little girl.

Would the principal had allowed her own daughter be treated in such way. ?

in our last discussion, I asked what will you do if tht lady was your daughter. You could not answer up till this moment

The DSS we have now are so lawless and act more of a tyrant.

So shameful that in a bid to please the oga at the top, they have turned themselves to emperor and acting far above the law.

We thought we were done with the rascality of the then DSS under the previous govt but this one have proved to be damn worse.

Their act have shown that they ain't working in line with their constitutional provisions but to hunt perceives enemies of the govt.

I have stated it right on this forum that those who condemned marylin Oga and her DSS then but could not see anything wrong in this present DSS must be a die hard sycophants in my opinion.

The DSS hve drift from its core functions and now act as EFCC,police .
The recent arrest of the Ekiti lawmakers have proved me right.
Little wonder the opposition sid this present govt is just after them.
How could you keep someone in your custody with no charges,he was not even charged to court or released despite the court order .

Indeed, we are in for a Long thing.

I stated here some weeks ago that the DSS ought to have done it's investigation before inviting any one.
They don't invite based on hear say but base on investigation concluded and facts lay bare before the suspect and afterward, charge them to court within 48 hours.

The reverse is the case here.
So if the chap had not shown signs of sickness nd ailment, he will still be guest of the DSS against his fundamental human right.

I weep for Nigeria with his lawless official nd sycophancy

Its the same right the students have to return slaps and punishments. I don't for once expect you to understand what I said. Jankara sentaor. tongue

That's why you should have asked what happened first, before jumping to conclusion. I suppose a 14 year old knows how to control her emotions right? Once again, ask what happened that warranted to head girl to slap the girl in the first place.

Yes indeed, your level of reasoning must be on par with that of a mad man since you expect me to answer the question in color red. As if I was there? Why do you think I've been saying the parents didn't bother to add what their daughter did, for the head girl to slap her in the first place, that part wasn't there. tongue

We condemn the girl who returned the slap because she acted in the ways of Hammurabi, (an eye for an eye) and that's something against the law, when harm or bad is done to you, you don't strike back with that same harm, you report to the appropriate authority. What that girl did was to take law into her hands.

Jankara senator, I believe you won't be able to comprehend all I've said. So please, before you reply, take time and think it through. tongue

The trouble and problem with an eye for an eye, Is that everybody ends up blind! That is what this case has resulted to! Everybody is guilty, the teachers, the head girl, and the girl that was flogged!.

Joseph the dreamer.
You dont need to be there before you can apply reasoning that are thoughtful

Wake up from sleep and stop thinking like the senior prefect.

Thank God my responses and others who reacted to your irrational comments have made you to come to terms with our stands that what is condemnable should be condemned and that prefects are expected to provide leadership through their position and not be bullies.

May be you are missing the line and arguments of sane minds here

No one says the girl should not be Punished if found wanting : The main point are

What right/powers does the senior prefect have to slap his fellow students (2) Why cant the Senior prefect report the lady to the teachers if she felt she is so unruly rather to taking laws into her hand cos she is the senior prefect. (3) why cant the teachers and principal discipline both students since both have resulted into physical assault on each other (4) are there not other measures of punishment that could be mete on the ladies apart from inflicting marks on her body , is that the most corrective measures the teachers understood (5) Will you accept same if such treatment is mete to your child . What will be your reaction

Did you asked what happened in the first place before you concluded that your senior prefect was right to slap the girl and that the lady must have been rude when you are not there.

No matter the level of provocation, I still insist that the senior prefect does not have right to slap his fellow students in the guise of correction

And of course, you're clueless and silly in your remark. Your thinking is the one that is moronic here, not mine.

And yes, people like you, always fail to ask questions that's why they always arrive at irrelevant conclusion. A sane mind would have asked why the head girl slapped her in the first place!. What happened? What could have resulted in the exchange of slaps? But no! Your mind isn't sane at all. tongue

Now I get why you aint thinking straight and to have JUSTIFY that a senior prefect could slap his fellow students.

What Right does any students or prefect have to dish out slaps to his student irrespective of slight provocations.

If prefects were chosen based on facts that they should be level headed and of fine character, how did the senior prefect slapped the lady first even if she was provoked .

Indeed, your level of reasoning is amazing since you could not state why the so called senior prefect could slap her fellow student in the first place.
what moral justification does she have to dish out the slap first and why condemned the one that returned it .
The teachers and the principal should have discipline both and not been selective in their punishment.
Prefects are just first among equals and they aint super powers to act like emperor

you just explained how lawless you are!! Seems you don't know the power a Senior prefect has, a Senior prefect is the principal's representative to the students! I was a senior prefect in my time and I disciplined lawless people like you!!

Which law or constitution confer such powers to a Senior prefect?
Prefects are first among equals and they are chosen not because they are the best but becos they are the favorites .
After all, WAEC or NECO does not know them whenever they are writing their exams .

The big question is this ; Will you allow your Daughter to be slapped , beaten in such manner and what will you do if such happen.

You will walk away I guess since she was beaten by the Senior Prefect Abi. shocked

Lets think straight pls.

Teachers have right to discipline students but not inflicting marks on them

Prefects have right to guide their fellow students but not going personal in form of assault:
Prefects are supposed to be level headed and to provide leadership direction to others .

Lets condemn what is wrong and ensure an egalitarian society where all have equal rights.

Molestation, Insults, attacks and abuse of position should be condemned Totally and be pruned and checked hence, these so called "senior prefects becomes Adolf Hilter and magret tachter tomorrow

The head girl is the number one female student, she's an authority, she represent the girls in school.

You don't physically attack authority for whatever reason. There are ways to follow when things like this happen. Returning the slap meant she slapped not just the head girl, but the teachers as well. That's why the teachers acted like that.

The question still remains, what did the girl do, that made the head girl slap her?

But Authority can Physically attack you abi (Zombie and Moronic thinking I guess)

Who confer the Authority to the senior prefect and under which law is that written.

Prefects are first among equals since every one cant be prefects. They are to be role models and provide leadership to others.
For dishing out a slap first shows she is not qualify to be senior prefect . she has failed in character and examplinary life.
Prefects are supposed to be level headed no matter the provocations

should a senior prefect slap or assault a fellow student?
when we see something that is wrong, we should condemn it.
Even if that girl stole or did someone inane, should she be physically abused in this manner??
If she was your daughter, would you tolerate a teacher leaving these horrendous marks on her body?? Would you say the same thing if your daughter or sister or mother was stripped and whipped like a slave??

This is the reason Nigeria may never move forward.
Our future generations are already taking classes on how to be power drunk.
A little child is abusing the little position of a prefect. What would happen if s/he joins the military or becomes a "leader"?
A prefect has no right to punish a student. The duty of a prefect is to report to the teachers what they see and hear.

There is no justification for this nonsense and if this girl was my remotely related to me, i can grantee you that those teachers will pay full price.
If i don't get the teachers, i will have my guys get their children.

exactly my thoughts and comments to that moniker who called himself Brigadier.

instead of him to condemn appropriately, he began to justify the barbaric assault on the lady with his silly comment . So sad that those who supported the acts of the teachers,Principal and senior prefect wont take such if it was mete to their child.
What Right does the Senior prefect have to slap his colleague in the guise of punishment.

Prefects are just first among equals and they aint the best as statistics have shown.

FOR HER To have returned a slap to her senior prefect shows how rude she is!!! She should even be expelled from the school!! Am against the Mal treated but this teachers you are talking about they are mothers and Parents too!! They cant just wake up one mrng and decide to descend on only her!! She must have been rude to them when she was invited to the staff room!! Op tell us the full story and stop being sentimental!! That's you people aid and abet bad children and when they get to the universities, they bcome secret cult members and runs girls and Problems to the society!! Shame on the NPF for wanting to arrest the management without proper investigation!! That what's how I read the other day how a secondary school cultist kiLled his Ex- Headmistress who is a grandmother in Benin, the headmistressed must have been dealing with him in school those days, now that he is a cultist, he decided to pay her back!! @Op your are biased in your account! OP I CHALLENGE YOU AND AM ASKING YOU TO QUESTION THE CHILD AGAIN TO TELL YOU WHAT SHE DID OR SAID TO THE TEACHERS THAT WARRANTED THE TREATED!!! If you decide to go to court remember they can still afford to get lawyers too. And there will be witnesses but student witnesses and Teacher witnesses that will come and testify THE TRUTH! So you better look before you leap!! I have seen a situation exactly like dis, the parent when to court and they ended up Apologizing to the school management and the Child was expelled too!

Quoting you: They cant just wake up one morning and decide to descend on only her!! She must have been rude to them when she was invited to the staff room The word descend makes the whole stuff looks like an attack. I am sure you are insinuating and must they descend on her to punish her. what happened to other disciplinary measures and what did they do to the so call senior prefect who dished out the first slap . Animal farm I guess

what right does the senior prefect have to have slap her in the first place. For crying out loud, does the law of the school empowers prefects to Slap students in guise of punishment?

Can the teachers and principal you call mothers beat up their children in this barbaric manner. Save us this devilish gospel . Except you did not pass through public school, most if not all of principals and teachers ' children get preferential treatment
