Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Ten Tough Interview Questions And Ten Great Answers by SenatorJames(m): 2:36pm On Dec 23, 2014 |
Jamean: Really nice post I must say.
But, that weakness thing is somehow o! It still quite depends on your interviewer too, because to some interviewers, stating your weaknesses even with active measures to curb them is like shooting yourself in the foot.
They'll be like..."so you procrastinate, that timer thing won't work here. You'll still procrastinate and miss deadlines" Haaa! This one can just make one lose stability o. The best way to answer this question is to give weakness that will not affect the work. For example don't tell an interviewer you talk too much, when you are applying for a position that demand you to be serious and concentrate on the work. But you can state that as your weakness if you are applying for marketer, broadcaster, client relation, customer care e.t.c., the interviewer may even see it as an advantage for you. Don't say you easily get angry, when the company want to employ you for a position where you relate with their numerous clients everyday. Note: No matter how a weakness looks like, it is still a negative to your personality, please don't give more than "ONE" even if you have many. WISDOM!!! |

Babafaros: Thursday 11 December 2014 TOPIC>>POWER TO BECOME A CHILD OF GOD Memory Verse But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 Read: John 1:9-13 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Message There is virtually nothing anyone can do without power. Power is described as the ability to act or produce an effect. It is also described as possession of control, authority, or influence over others. The types of power available in this world include: physical, mental, political, economic and spiritual. The good thing about the type of power we are considering today is that it pervades all spheres of human endeavour. This power is the power to become a child of God. It takes a great deal of power to become a child of God; therefore, if anyone wants to become a child of God, he or she must access the power that is required to bring about this transformation. This power is accessed by receiving Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. The power to become whatever God designed you to be shall come upon you today in Jesus’ Name. After the fall of man in Genesis 3:6-10, all human beings came under the influence and control of the devil, and consequently became children of the devil (John 8:44, 1 John 3:10). The Bible in Romans 3:23 says that, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Also in 1 John 3:8, the Bible further states that: “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.” To transform a person from being a child of the devil to a child of God requires power. To become a child of God, you must be born-again by the power of the Holy Spirit (John 3:5). The power in the Name of Jesus is also involved in this process according to 1 Corinthians 6:11. The power in the Name of Jesus brings about the justification (the total wipe-out of a person’s past) necessary to become a child of God. The word of God also plays a key role in releasing power to become a child of God (Ephesians 5:26). The word of God empowers the sanctification that is needed to become a child of God. This marks you out as separated to God and untouchable to the devil. The rights and privileges associated with being a child of God are so many that if you have not given your life to Christ before now, you must not allow today to pass you by. When you become a child of God, you become joint-heirs with Jesus Christ in glory. You become bold to confront your adversaries and they will flee from you. Your prayers receive speedy answer from your Father in Heaven. You will also make it to Heaven when you close your eyes in death. Praise the Lord. Prayer Point: Father, I reject the devil and his deeds. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour from today. I would have taken up the challenge of posting it daily next year, but I may not be consistent in doing so. Only God is unchangeable. |

Career › Re: 10 Types Of Occupations That Make The Most Money This Season. by SenatorJames(m): 8:12pm On Dec 20, 2014 |
Jennimma: This write up is based on my observations during Christmas periods.
1.HAIR DRESSERS: Looking good is a sacrifice. This particularly goes out to my fellow women who want to look exceptionally beautiful. Majority of hair saloons are jam-packed with women either fixing weavons or braiding their hair. You often hear ladies asking among themselves "Have you made your christmas hair?" "What hair would you make for christmas? Ladies I lie?"
2.TAILORS: Tailors/seamstresses are often patronised this season. Most times if you don't book at an earlier date with the tailor, your cloth may not be made. And sometimes due to the pressure tailors have, they may not meet up with the deadline thereby disappointing their customers.
3.DRIVERS/TRANSPORT COMPANIES: Bus tickets, airplane tickets,reservations...etc are the words you keep hearing during this season because most people travel home to see their loved ones, family and relations.
4.FOOD SELLERS: Food sellers are not left out either. People buy food items like chicken, turkey, rice, cooking oil, coleslaw items, cooking condiments, drinks to celebrate the season.
5.CLOTH TRADERS: Before now, I thought kids were the only ones that crave for christmas clothes, but I was wrong. Adults too buy christmas clothes during this season cos everyone wants to look good and admirable. So, if you've not bought your "christmas cloth" yet,do so today.
6.POULTRY FARMERS: Due to the high demand for fowls, turkeys even ducks, poultry farmers are seriously patronised. Even before december most women have booked their chickens with the farmer. Na true talk, abi?
7.TOURIST CENTRES: This season is the time to relax, hang out with friends, enjoy the enviroment and appreciate nature. Most people visit musuems, zoo, game reserves, beaches etc.
8.MUSICIANS:Without music, the whole place would be dull. More reason why most musicians launch their albums during this period. You'd realise that their songs would reign/played frequently this season. Eg: P-square. Well i know their Game Over(2007) and Danger(2009) albums reigned during the yuletide season then.
9.GADGET SELLERS: Welcome to Naija were everyone wants to feel cool, flashy and classy. Getting the latest android phones,i-pad,blackberry etc is the in thing now, more reason gadget sellers slash down the prices of their goods so people can easily purchase them. Well,i've observed that most times, people buy these items to flaunt it when they travel to their villages...lolz. Na lie? Hehehehehe
10.FEEL FREE TO ADD YOURS. Cc:tosyne2much kachisbarbie. Which occupation is "10. FEEL FREE TO ADD YOURS? Good to know. |
