Celebrities › Re: Nigerian Entertainers And Inter-Tribal Marriages ( Photos ) by SenatorJames(m): 5:42am On Nov 19, 2014 |
lalasticlala: Inter tribal or inter-ethnic marriage is one of the ways of promoting national integration and unity in Nigeria.
Some of our entertainers have been promoting national unity and integration in Nigeria via inter-tribal marriages.
Check some of them out.
1 STEPHANIE OKEREKE & LINUS IDAHOSA
super star actress, Stephanie Onyekachi Okereke is an Igbo lady from Imo state, and married to an Edo state man.
2 PETER OKOYE & LOLA OMOTAYO
Peter of Psquare fame is an Igbo man from Anambra, married to a very beautiful Yoruba lady, Lola.
3 DAKORE EGBUSON & OLUMIDE AKANDE
The stunning actress, Dakore is an Ijaw woman from Bayelsa state. She's married to a Yoruba man. Dakore is married into the famous Akande family.
4 ANNIE MACAULEY & TUBABA IDIBIA
Annie from Akwa Ibom state is married to Tubaba from Benue state.
5 CAROLINE EKANEM - DANJUMA & MUSA DANJUMA
The retired actress is from the South South, Akwa Ibom state to be precise but is married to Musa Danjuma, an influential man from the North.

“My decision to tie the nuptial knots with an Igbo woman is a true definition of what love is all about. Once you are in love, you become blind to where he or she comes from.”
The Osun State-born actor-cum-model said shortly after his wedding ceremony.
9 OC. UKEJE & IBUKUN TOGONU
The Igbo born actor recently married a Yoruba born pretty lady.
These are the ones I could remember.
Meanwhile, these Igbo born Nollywood actresses were once married to Yoruba men before their marriages packed up. They include : *Ngozi Nwosu *Stepnora Okere, once married to Falana *Clarion Chukwura, has been involved with Yoruba men most of her life time, starting from Shina Peters, who is the father of her son, Clarence, to one Tunde Abiola whom she was married to and then another Yoruba Man, Femi Oduneye who was her last divorced husband.
What's your take on inter tribal marriages?
For me, I think it's OK as it promotes national unity and integration. Where are our brothers and sisters from the North? Dont tell me there is no celebrity from that side. God bless one Nigeria |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why A First Class Graduate Might Not Get A Job? by SenatorJames(m): 5:14am On Nov 19, 2014 |
hardbody: Every first class graduate is an automatic employee of his university of graduation as a lecturer assistant while he pursues his Ph.d. Except he chooses to go get work elsewhere. So there is no he won't get a job. Infact having a first class has nullified all the local juju powers. Again except the guy does not wanna start from somewhere. That was then when industries were still in good condition and they have attractive employment packages, like attractive salary, official house and car etc, university try all possible means to retain their best graduates to remain in the academic line, because they don't have enough lecturers, but its no more so today. Secondly, it still depends on some department. You cant tell me that a department that produces 5 to 7 first class students yearly, will retain all of them. Lastly, the department the student is graduating from will also determine whether he/she will be retain or not, there is no way the school will not grap you if you dear manage to graduate in such departments e.g Geology, Architecture, Earth science, URP etc |

Nairaland General › Re: Patronizing Children(young) Street Hawkers by SenatorJames(m): 10:03pm On Nov 16, 2014 |
Enosa1: Nice contributions so far. But we seems to be leaving the parents out of it. In Edo state for example, the primary and secondary school education is free of charge but still, many of such "less privilege" parent won't encourage their ward to attend. BTW won't it be better as a father/mother to take up the responsibility-even if it means hawking-instead of passing it over to the innocent ward?
This is my major reason of considering the thought of ignoring them(i.e,discouraging their guidance from such act) Ignoring them is good, but its just a temporary solution. Our Government should enforce policy on child welfare, With that things may improve. If you refuse to buy from them, many others will buy and the business continues. |

You can be saying this for a lady you just want to chop and clean mouth, which is fornication hefelove: 5years? I dey mad? Na her puna and bobby swit reach lyk dat? But a godly and good wife material as a future partner, it worth waiting. Aprime: As the lord leads...
Ha! Let's get serious:
I think when a lady likes you, she will respect your love and dignity and say Yes when she's sure you are In.
But when a lady doesn't like you, she will keep playing you around Until someone better shows up.
So Technically, Say No and give up on her when she's not giving you the vibes. Don't stay around, like a fool when she treats your approach like trash.
When a lady likes you back, two weeks of foot licking should do. Two weeks is enough for serious folks.
Remember, the patient dog, na hunger go kill am. Sure. most especially for a lady you knows each other before (i.e friends). Even she may have tick you as a good or bad option for her before you propose, your proposal will only be for you to Collect your score Card from her. |
