The Group Managing Director, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Mr Mele Katrina, has warned that without the passage into law of the Petroleum Industry Bill, 2020, there would not be further foreign investments in the oil and gas industry.

The GMD boss gave the warning on Thursday at a 2021 budget defence session before the Joint Committee on Petroleum Upstream, Petroleum Downstream, and Gas Resources.

“Without the passage of PIB, no one will invest in this country(Oil and Gas Industry), again”, he said.

Buying of slots involves a considerable level of risk. Whether you met the agent online or in their office, the onus is on the job seeker to carry due diligence before making payments.

As far as the slot is legit, payment is usually demanded later when Apl is ready. So asking someone to make payment for job as a first step is a red flag to me. But it is left for whoever that is interested in the offer to conduct investigations first before deciding to commit his/her hard earned money.

apologies for having not responded to your message, I have been waiting to get some concrete information on why its taking so long and what is actually going on...but everyone i ask for information on the inside is quiet..all singing the same song of patience..and worst part is no timeline..just making it seem like we have not waited long enough...I'm not happy posting when I don't have something positive to say..let's just hope and pray that the wait is worth it at the end

Let me tell u ppl hear incase u don’t know, some agencies had to even stop upfront before confirmation because of how people move from one top agency to another esp when they have gotten the upfront
