Please how does the so-called assumptions affect you? This is a public forum and everybody is free to post what they like. You can choose to read and ignore, or not to read at all. You are the one creating anxiety for yourself bro.

Optimism is among the positive traits in humans. But the fact is, whether we choose to believe this or not, this new development will adversely affect the recruitment. There will be delays definitely but I do hope it is not halted eventually.

I feel we will get invites for interview from 20th. Against last week in June or 1st week in July. Medicals might be carried out in July and prospective employees might resume in Second week of August. This is just a hypothesis .

Interviews usually last for over a month. Sometimes two months from the date invites were sent, so you should consider that in your hypothesis. To be candid, the dates you suggested, especially those of interview and resumption, are non - feasible and unrealistic. Except, of course, things are done entirely differently in order to fast-track the process.

That's not true. Everybody, both EH and GT must write the test. I remember that year, 2011, one oga in an oil servicing firm gave me a lift to the venue. And he wrote the test with us.

I think that year some of the EH where not called for test, they were only invited for interviews, where they were given topics to make presentations on.

I am not aware of the info you are referring to. I am talking based on experience and precedence. Nnpc cannot invite you for interview without passing aptitude test. Except the interview is from the back door.

What is merit? Merit means you meet the minimum requirement. You are then shortlisted and write the test (here your performance matters - merit, and you are competing against people from your state not the country -still merit). You then go for the interview and depending on your situation (Personality, performance on the day, certificates and I dare say background because this is where a lot of the children of the poor who are good are considered for the job - I knew I had the job during the interview because the interviewer asked me one final question and said if I got it right I would get it and I did - no connection). Connection can only help if you meet the minimum requirements if you don't, there are people within the system who will protest especially if their own wards failed to scale through and then the unions who also have their own wards. The system has it's own checks (though not perfect) so the best thing is to be as fair as possible to avoid such controversies.

The outcome of the presidential election might determine whether or not this recruitment will progress. Remember Nnpc recruitment in 2014/2015. Successful candidates during the test were notified in February to get ready for interview. As Jonathan lost the election, the recruitment process was suspended till date.

With the general elections coming up, expect no activity as regards government organizations, especially recruitments, until all the elections are concluded.
Whoever that is telling you the list will be out soon is only playing with your emotions.

Ekweremadu is not a member of the presidential campaign. But be rest assured that the distinguished senator will join the campaign train once it gets to the south east. Do you understand?

These pictures are not from Enugu - onitsha express way. The pictures show both sides of the express way completed tarred, but in reality, there is no section of the road where both sides are tarred as at today. Work is going on only on the side of traffic inward Enugu. Get your facts right and don't deceive the public.

As for Federal Character, it is everything in this recruitment and that is all I can say. For example, I stumbled on the fed. character sharing formular for the ongoing NCC recruitment. Some states have just 2 slots, some 3, some have no slot at all. The slots were shared using positions i.e State X, 2 slots, level 8 and 13. State Y, 3 slots, level 8, 9 and 12 etc. Another method may be adopted for DPR but slots per state will never be equal. D current nominal roll of an agency will determine which states or region already have too much representation and which states are disadvantaged due to low or no representation. Therefore, this is used in d next recruitment to balance representation.
