Here are my thoughts:

1. Things Guys Should Stop Doing That
Makes Girls Feel So Important And
Arrogant(May 30,2015)
The title and tone of the thread was really bad. But that's over 10 months old and we have evolved since then. I've changed the title

2. 5 Reasons Why Nigerian Girls Date 'Yahoo' Guys - Romance - (July 18,2015)
Nothing wrong with this. If Nigerian guys are dating Yahoo girls in significant numbers, I'd like to see a thread about that too.

3. Lady Rejects Guy Because He Wanted To Take Her On A Date With 'Kabu Kabu' - Romance (Jan12, 2016)
The thread is alright (posted by a lady) but some of the responses were bad and have been removed because they violated the rules.

4 Nigerian Lady Refuses To Marry Boyfriend Cos He's A Polytechnic Graduate - Romance (May 11,2015)
What's wrong with it? The responses were quite balanced though some of them broke the rules and have been hidden.

To be continued.

Pray tell, why do topics that belittle women and our choices make it like the speed of lightening to FP? Not fair.
Can you link to 5 to 10 of those topics which belittle women and their choices and made the home page at lightning speed?

Let us all reason as intelligent people here instead of panicking. There's no way they can enforce such a law in Nigeria.
They cannot enforce the law fully, but they will enforce it selectively to silence people who are saying things they don't want them to say.

Adisa89:
And what difference would that make?
We initially over-estimated Dr. Saraki's role in promoting and defending this bill. It turns out that the bill has many other promoters in govt.

We need to do everything within our power to stop this bill. Please send your disapproving tweets to @bukolasaraki on Twitter to help this fight.

PoliticsRe: Watch: Al-jazeera Interview With President Buhari by Seun(mod): 9:01pm On Mar 06, 2016
I was appalled by his response to the issue of students abroad but at least it was honest. Someone should tell him that when those students abroad start working abroad and sending money home, it will help the naira.

rusher14:
Seun, why would the government want to restrict the inflow of cash from abroad?
I dont understand the question. When did I say that the government wants to discourage inflow of cash from abroad? huh

In fact, isn't that what they are attempting to encourage?
It's counter productive. When you stop people from taking money out of a country, they will stop bringing money into it. People aren't dumb.
BusinessRe: $20billion Dollars Idle In Few Individual's Domiciliary Accounts-cbn by Seun(mod):
Currently, the only way to bypass the FOREX restriction is to operate a domiciliary account and link it to your card and receive deposits from abroad. I guess they will start restricting domiciliary accounts as well soon, after which they will have to forbid Nigerians from opening foreign accounts to bypass that restriction as well. One retrogressive decision leads to another. God forbid that we should let the naira find its level in order to incentivize Nigerians to earn dollars legally by exporting their goods and services.

My advice? Let her start preparing for the future 'cos this fame will reach a zenith and it may start nose-diving. Before then she should deep her feet in investment heavily. With that, she'll still be at the top financially.
Sorry, but her relatives will bleed her dry. Also, the celebrities giving her money can't teach her how to manage money since they waste theirs.

This is the scariest news I've seen in a long time. I can't wait to see the **** ideas they will come up with to try to control the parallel market.

This is as **** as the minister of agriculture saying they are targeting a price of N500 for a full chicken in the public markets (without funds)

PoliticsRe: #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira‬ - Ben Bruce Going places by Seun(mod): 7:38am On Feb 26, 2016
The whole point of growing the naira is to make importation cheap. If you dont plan to import, then what is the benefit of a strong naira?
PetsRe: Shadow The Destroyer by Seun(mod): 1:48pm On Feb 24, 2016
It's been really hard getting Shadow back to his normal weight. ... Unfortunately the butchers where I get chicken for shadow are having problems with their cold room so i have been unable to continue with his high protein diet.
Counter-intuitively, a high protein diet is actually not good for weight gain. Many owners of fat dogs have said that their dogs lost weight after they switched to a raw diet. When I tried to fatten my dog with a raw diet, it didn't work. Once he ate a certain amount, he would start rejecting food. Which is embarrassing (and very funny, really) when the food in question is a juicy piece of Orobo chicken lap. Raw food is not fattening.

The secret to weight gain is the same for cows, chickens, human beings, and dogs: starchy food. It's so easy to digest and full of calories. Our family dogs are the fattest and yet most hyper-active dogs I have ever seen. Their staple food is rice and shawa fish, cooked and mixed up. I've also read that feeding a lot of puppy food to an adult dog can lead to weight gain, because puppy food is very rich, so you're on the right track.
BusinessRe: Why Is NL Not Reporting The New Exchange Rate? by Seun(mod): 2:03pm On Feb 23, 2016
The temporary oil price crash and resulting drop in the value of the naira is an opportunity for the nation's economy to be restructured. The government should be focused not on reducing importation (which is easy but unhelpful) but on increasing exportation (which is hard but helpful)

I can't believe some so called learned people re in support if the devaluation of the naira
Isn't that what brought us to where we are today or ve u guys forgotten about SAP?
Nigerians re indeed forgetful
Na only to curse, chest beat, kill, heard their cattles, nd to dey talk awa oyel, so so nd so Oba is bigger than this nd that Oba, so so nd so place is awa own, we re d most industrious, we re this we re that nd cause hate among ethnic group una sabi
Rubbish
SAP was not the cause of Nigeria's problems under IBB. It was the result. The government mismanaged the economy and had to be bailed out by the foreign creditors, and SAP was the condition for their help. Also, nobody actually devalued the naira. The government has been supporting the naira for a very long time but when the oil price fell the forex supply to support the naira dried up and so it fell. Now Nigerians have to pick up the slack by going into exportation businesses and the govt should also make it very easy to export anything from Nigeria.

we don't know maybe they strangle or poison her or starvation . But the point was that she died. Although other students arrested are still alive
Then we have to find out. The family should conduct an autopsy. Once we know what happened and who is responsible, we can act.

What is her name?

I can't wait for this to seriously affect importation of frozen chicken so my people can buy locally processed foods
As I have been saying, this is not a good thing per se, because it makes chicken more expensive for everyone. I dont know how to explain.

rexel99:
Why continue to wallow in ignorance. If you hav a dollar bill will you sell at 197 or the current black market rate. Or if your brother wants to sell to you will he sell at 197 or the current black market rate
Bro, the true value of the naira is what is been traded in the black market. Don't wait for an official pronouncement that the naira has been devalued.FG is obly subsidizing dollar for a few. Use your brain.
Yep.
