We've added a warning message to the /newtopic page, so this is no longer necessary. |
Thanks. |
abdulkayus: bt Seun, other social media like facebook, 2go and d rest make use of x rated word and dey are nt sanction. I hav nt see a social media dat is so censored like Nairaland. Seun, i think its ur doin.I rarely see X-rated writings or images on Facebook. They have a full time team whose job is to remove such content. |
Snubish: I'm sorry about the way your request was dismissed by my representative in this section. I understand your concerns about how the warning portrays Islam. However, I think it's a small price to pay for keeping Christian and Atheist trolls and other haters of Islam out of the Islam section. It's better for them to be warned than for them to be banned. I wish you a great week! |
Post pictures pls. |
Post pictures if you intend to ever sell the car! |
Please do not offer him a loan. If you do, you are on your own. topic locked because it's led to confusion. |
Memphis357: I'm saying this because Seun is being such a douchebag by censoring some words and making it a killjoy. We're merely trying to maintain certain standards to avoid being blacklisted by Internet authorities. Personally, I hate censorship. |
funky medina: This Seun na wa for you oo. Do you know its ordinary people like us that make nairalnad work in the first place. Ur reply to graphic was quite rude, like ur a tard bit high or something ..anyway, its weekend , let me assume by monday you will be okI'm sorry. I was actually imitating the dismissive tone of his reply to me, but I should not have stooped to his level. |
eyenCalabar: The funniest thing is that the name, John Asekome Tunde does not exist.unless you have access to the national census database, you have no way of knowing whether a name exists or not. I don't know what game you think you're playing, but the game is over for you in the business section. Sorry! |
@GraphicsPlus: Your replies to my posts are neither coherent nor reasonable. You simply can't accept that you are wrong. |
You're also using this post to solicit for business. The irony of this situation is unbelievable. Wtf? |
Christ Embassy. I think their ladies are wealthy, single, liberal and affectionate!! |
eleven: Now this is very good coming from you. Would have preferred this case: https://www.nairaland.com/1173970/scam-alert-omowunmi-allen-pre-order makes the front page rather than this one. Wunmi Allen case aligns more with your statement than thisThanks for pointing out that thread. I was certain that it had been posted to the home page, but it seems I was wrong. It's now on the home page. We have exposed a couple of scammers in the past and we will continue to do so. Naijacutee and FOD work very hard to protect Nairaland members from scammers, and they will continue to do so. The supermods and I will do our part by exposing scammers who have been caught by our watchful members and hard-working moderators. We are serious about this. |
Again, one should be able to know who likes his comments. If one can't see who likes him, then the purpose of the 'like' is defeated. The purpose of likes on Nairaland is to reward people who post quality content. On sites where you can see who liked your posts, people often like posts because they are seeking the favour of the posters and not because they genuinely think the posts are good. We don't want that. |
@funky_medina: you don't have to berate me just because you disagree with me. I believe we can disagree and debate each other as adults. We take user feedback very seriously, and whenever a suggestion is made, we think deeply about it to figure out whether implementing it is the right thing to do. Regarding opening links in new windows, our current approach gives users a choice. Your suggestion that we should open links in new windows, if implemented, will force users to open links in new windows whether they like it or not. But our current approach allows you to open links in new windows if you want to. On most phones, you can press and hold the links to reveal pop up menus that allow you to open the links in new windows. On personal computers, you can hold control/shift just before clicking links to have them open in new tabs/windows. So you have a choice. I don't want to deprive Nairaland members of their choice. I want them to be free to open links in new windows or in the same window. I don't want to force one option on them. I hope you understand me now. |
We believe that the current approach is the best approach. Google ads dont open in new windows either. |
Tinyemeka: @ OP, you should have stuck to point and give details of what transpired between you and the fraudster. Instead of all those long paragraphs on issues totally unrelated to the thread topic. Sky-walker:This is my fault. The original title was: Original Title: My Humble Appeal To Anyone Who Cares To Give Me Listening Ears |
I think the market may have been too small to support their cost structure. "Overhead walks on two legs". |
I have posted this thread to the home page because, as I said earlier, Nairaland Forum is committed to exposing scammers & fraudsters. |
Kizyte: Where dem dey go if dem die?Mortuary? Grave? |
Pagination is obviously better: 1) With pagination, you can bookmark the position you're at and then go straight to it later. That's awesome. 2) With infinite scroll, you can't view the millionth element on a list without loading the 1st 999,999 into your browser. That's awful. |
She shot him in the head, stabbed him 27 times, and slit his throat. In self-defence. Yeah right. Psychopath alert!! |
