ROSSIKE: Bill Gates is not an anthropologist or historian so cannot be an authority on why African parents had many children. What does he know about the socio-cultural evolution of the continent? Just because one is good at computers or is a billionaire doesn't mean one knows everything there is to know.

He is smart enough to survey the writings of the best scientists and select his position based on their best scientific findings.

ROSSIKE: Why should VACCINATION which he mentioned specifically, lead to reduced world population?

When children are vaccinated, they are less likely to die young. When people notice that children are not dying, parents won't feel the need to have so many children. Instead of that, they will have few children and invest more into their upbringing and education.

The notice was proposed by Christian moderators to prevent Christians and Atheists from getting themselves banned when Muslim threads make the home page. I felt it was a fantastic idea and I implemented it as soon as I could. Now if you get banned in the Muslim section, you will have no one to blame but yourself.

People tend to have less children when they know the children won't die young. So better healthcare actually tends to reduce the population of a country. If you know that your kids will all survive, you may decide to have just one or two. When a lot of people do this, the population actually goes down. That's what Bill Gates was trying to say. That's why developed countries with great healthcare have low population growth rate and African countries with abysmal healthcare have the opposite situation.

What made you feel that your login info is available on other sites?

A dead simple network file sharing program could be useful, but I bet there are many out there. Also, avoid twisted.
