Dear Esteemed Webmasters,

I am sorry that I failed to address this issue properly earlier. I have attempted to fix the phantom bracket smiley problem with no luck. There is nothing in the code that should lead to that result. It's indeed a modern mystery. However, I will continue to investigate the issue whenever I'm free. Meanwhile, I will like advice programmers to include a space between quotes and right brackets.

I'm very sorry about this.
WebmastersRe: SEUN: Please Add Highlight Plugin For Webmaster/programmer Section by Seun(mod):
I have posted code many times, and the [code] tag has been good enough every time. Sure there's a minor rendering bug, and I have checked the code trying to figure out what's responsible for the rendering bug, with no luck. The programmers I hired could not figure it out either. 99.99% of Nairalanders are not affected at all, and those 3 Nairalanders affected can avoid it very easily.

If you think this is important, why not send me an implementation I can plug in?

I think such a feature will be used to bully people and oppress newbies. Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg has also refused to implement this feature.
RomanceRe: Disadvantages Of Being Pretty by Seun(mod):
beautiful Onyi: Seun, she's right. People don't expect pretty girls to be smart. For some reason, they do not expect that God could be soo kind to give beauty and brains to just one person. From my experience , people expect pretty girls to be dumb! How I love shocking them. As a beautiful girl, you have to prove your brilliance over and over again compared to less endowed sisters---people will want to believe you either slept with the lecturer or something.
It's not true that people don't expect pretty girls to be smart. That was not my point at all. My point is that intelligence is judged primarily based on what you say or do, and not how you look. When the things you say and do are not of any importance, then people will assume that it's because you're relying on your beauty to get you through life, too distracted by the attention you get from men to strive for any meaningful achievement, and that you spend too much time shopping for clothes and Brazillian hair and applying make-up that you don't have any time left to acquire knowledge and strive for concrete achievements. It's not that they assume you're not smart because you're attractive. It's that the things you talk about and how you spend your time and carry yourself make them conclude you're not smart, and they think your beauty is to blame.

abouzaid: Seun i find it heartbreaking that muslims are free to open christian threads and freely comment on it while christians are not. Are u saying that mods on d religion and politics boards can't detect what is offensive?
Yes. It takes a muslim to know what will offend other muslims. Think about it for a while, and you'll realize that I'm right.

Why is it then? Because you seem to know me better than I know myself
Maybe the things you do and the things you say do not suggest that you are not an airhead, so they just assume you are. Natalie Portman is taken seriously because she cares about things like politics, and she goes to school even though she doesn't have to, and when she talks she sounds like a person that thinks about serious things. I think Emma Watson is a younger version of her. Basically, you have to give people a reason to believe you are a deviation from the stereotype. Talk less about Brazilian hair, Nollywood, men, make-up, fashion, etc and talk more about things airheads never talk about. Spend less time in front of a mirror. Wear jeans once in a while. Be different! I don't know jor.

Some of my lecturers and classmates were shocked when I got a first for my degree.
It's not just because you're pretty. Natalie Portman, and Emma Watson are as pretty as a lady can be, but they are not considered to be airheads.

FoodRe: Golden Morn Unsuitable For Children Under 3 Years by Seun(mod): 8:22pm On Oct 23, 2012
Hello Peterwins. Thanks for your comment on Nestlé Golden Morn. I’m Iquo Ukoh from Nestlé Nigeria.

We apologise for the confusion caused by the information which was added to the product label in June, 2012. The product was labelled as “Golden Morn is not an infant cereal. Not suitable for children below 3 years” as a precautionary measure because it is not formulated as an infant or weaning cereal.

We have decided to modify the label to avoid any further inconvenience. We continue to clearly mention it is not an infant cereal.

We always communicate information that help consumers make informed purchasing decision and we encourage our consumers to choose a variety of foods to meet daily nutritional requirements.
Here's a follow-up statement from Nestle addressing the reason for the label change:
In our efforts to improve the information we provide on our packaging, we decided to change the statement in June 2012, which coincided with a packaging and recipe change we have done on Nestlé Golden Morn to make your favorite cereal more nutritious and delicious. And we are delighted to inform you that Nestlé Golden Morn is now fortified with iron and vitamin A.

Nestlé would like to assure you that Golden Morn is a nutritious cereal that is absolutely good to consume by adults and children as part of a varied diet and is produced from best quality Maize and Soya grains however it’s not developed for infants because it’s not an infant nor weaning cereal.

Be rest assured that the primary concern of Nestlé is to provide their valued consumers with the best quality , nutritious and delicious food.
