How does the woman find the time to attend so many award ceremonies? ![]() |
Thanks, Webmonk and others. It's good to know reformatting isn't necessary. Information is power. ![]() |
The rape apologists have been removed. I'm very sorry I could not remove them earlier. Many apologies. |
A computer virus called ‘Raila Odinga’ is bad news in Malawi’s main commercial city of Blantyre as it has caused huge damages. The virus according to experts is believed to be a complicated group of deadly computer worms, Trojans, spywares and ad wares operating together as a single entity.http://www.itnewsafrica.com/?p=1206 Wow, it's rather famous. Be careful with strange flash drives. |
It's not funny. It is a foolish and wicked idea. "Shaping" your baby's head could lead to permanent brain damage that will affect the child all his life. Compared to brain damage, having an oddly shaped head is nothing. So don't turn your baby or any other baby into a slowpoke without your doctor's written permission. Thanks. We need more fully functional brains in Nigeria. |
Lots of interest on this one. |
Chivalry was never "alive", fairy tales and fictional romance novels notwithstanding. |

Bad choice. You can't start something like this and end it halfway. Once you start, you have to complete it. The ads acknowledged that the people of Microsoft are somewhat out of touch with the rest of us, which we already know to be true. So no harm done. But dropping the promo suggests that Microsoft is not only out of touch, but also lacks the guts to make a change to the status quo. That's a wrong, wrong message to send. |
This post has not been replied since July. That shows that life insurance is not popular. It also means no one knows how expensive it is. |
Stop cutting and pasting. You're supposed to be sharing your original thoughts. If you've run out of original ideas, then maybe it's time to lock the thread? |
You're right, I forgot biofuels. It's a way to kill two birds with one stone, but it can't power cars. In fact, solar energy and wind power can't power cars either. I shouldn't be mixing things up like this. |
Brazil is one of the world's leading producers of natural gas. OMGWell natural gas doesn't count, since you can't run cars on natural gas. My mistake. In order to produce the ethanol you have to clear large areas of land, burn fuel in the tractor, burn fuel in the machine that crushes the sugar-cane, etc. It's not necessarily cost-efficient, depending on the current price of oil. I would rather work on building local oil refineries and windmills and installing solar panels on every roof before thinking about ethanol, but that's just me. |
Dont tell me u don't know that 60% of the energy consumed in Brazil is gotten from EthanolDo they have oil? Do they have natural gas? Do they have a large population in a very small area? |
Interesting development, but not very important. I don't see the benefits of ethanol at all. |
Slap is absolutely reserved for the most horriable of circumstances. Believe me if i slap my husband it is really really something horrible. An abusive man can also say: "beating up my wife is absolutely reserved for the most horrible of circumstances. believe me if I beat my wife to a pulp and leave her for dead it is really really something horrible". Does that make it ok? |
Why must you slap anybody? Does it make you happy to slap people? |
I don't know whether I deleted it but yes, such links will not contribute to Nairaland in any way. Unless Ztyle is a popular celebrity and you're directing people to his fan forum. |
I don't think a diesel engine can ever run on biogas. Biogas is a gas and diesel is a liquid. |
Saw it on Youtube. Loved it. The second one in the series. |
Traffic is the difference between a dead forum and an active forum. |
Absolutely forbidden. Why? Readability. Please accept my apologies. |
Depends on how much money you (or your parents) have, but the Paralympics is just another sports contest. |
Since you're based in the US, try amazon.com. They have an African literature section. |
the reality is:the politics of this country is just too scumy for any decent and wellA lot needs to be done by who? If decent people refuse to go into politics, nothing can change. |
Have you even met the man? He's a human being like you and he did not roast anyone alive in his lifetime. |
amaechijay:And then you broke up. What's the point, really? |
Too bad there are no "digital cribs" in Nigeria. Especially not Ogun State. We're still in the fifties! |
By psting topics that would be of interest to a very larg number of Nairalanders. |
