What about people like me who will like to watch the show from time to time? Our freedom to watch is gone. How sad. |
Hello damettalic: Okay. Please get in touch with the required items. Headshot, statement of interest. |
If they make a law to regulate the kind of programmes aired on tv which hithertoWhere's the fun in life without a little bit of the harmless things that religious extremists refer to as "decadence"? |
Pls put it on youtube, because I don't have broadband yet. |
The only sensible way to conserve power is to make it more expensive. If it's this cheap, people won't. |
Watched it this evening. I think it's the nicest Nigerian reality show after Gulder ultimate Search. |
I like them better when they're busy fighting rather than meddling with our freedoms. United, they stand and we suffer! |
Actually, I think the man looks more attractive in that picture. Ms. Egbuson must have been having a bad make-up day. |
To get more people to respond, obviously. Asking for a photo may be my mistake, but I think it's really needed. |
Apparently, Big Brother Africa has been banned in Nigeria: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-93781.0.html |
The market is big enough for a thousand and one competitors to DSTV, if only they can be granted broadcast licenses. |
Moved to TV & Movie Production section. Tell us more about you movie; we'd like to chop some of your money. ![]() |
I don't particularly like Big Brother Africa, but tomorrow the same people may ban a programme I love. This should not have the power to tell us what we should or should not watch in the whole of Nigeria. This goes contrary to the concepts of freedom of speech and religious freedom, and should be condemned. |
The cost of a 'low budget' script in the US is the cost of a movie in Nigeria. It's the cost of living difference. Won't work. |
Hello sleekymag. I was hoping something like that was possible. I guess the key is to have a really great show. |
A link to the source of this article, please. |
He's a pretty good president as far as we know, but he's surely not perfect. Sooner or later, he will want to do something very stupid, and we will need to oppose him. ![]() |
Because Christian girls are generally more willing to engage in premarital sex, and Muslim men want it too. ![]() |
Nice joke. Really loved it. |
The punch writer Adaeze Amos, a stupid woman, is the culprit. It is an insult for a woman to be saying things like "who could blame the men". has she ever been a man to experience the "uncontrollable urge to rape under-dressed women" that she assumes all men have? |
Pls don't bypass my word filters. They are there for a purpose;to reduce sensationalism and to discourage certain topics. |
You must be living in a completely different Nigeria. |
Ok. The situation right now is very awful. Only 5 respondents so far? This goes against the popular idea that everybody wants to be famous. Even my real estate agent wants me to cast her daughters, and yet in the whole of Nairaland I only have 5 interested actors? Instead of 50-100? Wow! Maybe I was too specific? Look, as long as you have some talent, we can give you a shot. |
Obviously I want to know the email address you corresponded with me earlier. Otherwise how do I identify you? ![]() |
Software for writing screenplays: Celtx http://www.celtx.com/download.html A series of articles written by a two successful screenwriters: http://www.wordplayer.com/columns/welcome.html |
The main reason why such software isn't being used in many schools right now is NEPA/PHCN. Fairly used computers are inexpensive and parents are willing to donate, but they all run on electricity, which is unavailable and unreliable. Another problem is that investing in a suitable Internet service for a school costs money. It's not about software. What software do schools really need. 99% of their needs can be satisfied by simple Microsoft Word (letters, typing question papers, etc) and Microsoft Excel (reports, results, attendance, etc) or even Open Office. Problem: NEPA. |
I agree. Do people still use AWT? Wow. What About SWT? www.developer.com/java/other/article.php/3330861 |
Source? grafikdon:LOL. |
@slitty: what's your name and what's your email address? @others: in order to encourage more people to respond, I want you to know that no acting experience is required. Although acting experience (especially in comedy) really does help, I'm willing to give everyone a chance. |
