Is Ini Edo the Best Nollywood Actress? |
Some older members behave like kids - ignoring the rules, challenging the administrator - and they wonder why they don't get respect. If you respect the admin, you will get respect. Ask the former 2cantango. What is even more ridiculous is when your age is not on your profile, your picture is not on your profile, and you are demanding respect based on your age. How is that possible? ![]() |
Grrrr. Let him come to Nigeria, I will show him onions. |
Second goal by Italy. My o my, this is a game for the big boys! |
I'd never buy an expensive car like this one. I'd buy fuel-efficient Toyota. I'd rather not be broke. ![]() |
How to become a diplomat in the US: http://www.ehow.com/how_12359_become-diplomat.html |
The majority of actors, models and singers in any country are poor. Acting, modeling and music are over-exposed professions. Everybody wants to be an actor, model, or musician because when you turn on your TV you see them and you think they are more special than the professionals you don't see on TV. It is only the lucky few that can claim to be rich. For every rich artist, there are 100 struggling wannabes, and it is not only in Nigeria that things are like that. Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic and co are comfortable. You shouldn't compare them to businessmen like Dangote or Adenuga because an entertainer is basically a star employee and nothing more. They cannot be richer than the businessmen who are sponsoring them! |
I'm sorry I had to diss our beloved hot-angel, but she was being quite mean herself. I'm sure that she has a tough skin and she knows what she wants from Nollywood, so I wish her the best. |
Hello chuks, Thanks for sharing these questions. Many of our job seekers will appreciate it. Seun. |
Buka Franchise is a great idea. The food will be local, but the environment will be spotlessly clean. Whatever business you choose, you need to be here in Nigeria to really make it work. |

I'm confused. What's this about? |
If they are good enough to make us feel good when we play their music, they are good enough. That is the only standard by which music is to be measured. There is no need for us to compare our musicians to the Americans. Would an American ever be able to understand the love we have for pounded yam and egusi soup? If not, does that mean our food is no up to international standards? No. It means the food is customized for local consumption! |
Even without reading this story, we know that many politicians are scumbags. It's not their fault; it's the way the system is designed. I have always maintained that representative democracy is fundamentally flawed. It's fundamentally a corrupt and unfair system but sadly it's better than all the alternatives that have been proposed. |
If journalists, webmasters, and even some doctors are not rich, why should mere actors and actresses be rich? ![]() |
The webmaster in charge should be made to pay the cost of recovering that domain name from ICANN. |
Moving this to poems. Get well soon, Mr. Big Trouble (tm). ![]() |
Beautiful, beautiful! Can you send me one for free? |
THanks for sharing. |
I agree with you that the "get rich quick" mentality is our problem, but what is the solution? |
One day I will make enough money from Nairaland to go to Hollywood and marry her! ![]() |
Try double backslash followed by the ip address of the computer in question. For example, if the ip address is 10.0.0.2, go to Start->Run and enter "\\10.0.0.2\" to access the shared folders. |
Ok, sorry for jumping into attack mode but I have always wanted to express my feelings about activists. I am actually aiming my criticism at anyone who is involved in NGO work. Does Ndidi's occupation fall into that definition? How come you pointed us to her website to read about "what she's doing" instead of simply telling us? Could it be that like most other NGO projects it's more of rhetoric and good intentions than actual substance? Once again, I apologize for my beef. Each time I visit the website, I get upset all over again and can't read through! |
They are "not only food"? You mean some people eat these shoes? ![]() |
Edygirl's point makes sense. If he is not too bad to be your best friend, then why can't he date your sister? ![]() At least, if your best friend dates your sister, the fear will be there that if he treats her unfairly he would lose you also. That fear will make him treat her better than other girls. At least you know where to find him. In short, the devil you know is better than the angel you don't! |
Perhaps Fantasia likes him because he's a bigger star. Useless man ![]() |
