Jump to To Tithe or Not to Tithe? to continue that discussion. Thanks. |

Argh, I think I have been misunderstood. I can only assume they are good. You determine how much you want to pay for leads and I supply those leads. The guarantee I can offer is that these are people who have gone through the information offered and have decided that they want to be contacted. UPDATE: thanks. So, diyobdw, what do you sell? |
There's nothing that can be done to resolve this problem that will not resolve in loss of lives. The kidnappers should not be mistaken for freedom fighters. |
Ok. so there are two people interested in the chess competition. Who wants to sponsor the prize and how mamy people do we need? |
Anything that restricts competition is bad for customers. Capitalism 101. |

If the advert is misleading or incomplete, many people wil call to find out more and might decided to opt out when they learn about the details. But if the advert I show them contains almost everything they need to know about your product or service, then most of those who opt to contact you will be people who are willing and able to pay for your service. I don't think one can predict this ratio in advance. What you can do is monitor the means I'm using to promote your product and then pay me a fee that depends on your estimate of the percentage of the leads that are going to become paying customers. For instance, if you're paying 5% commission on something worth 200,000 naira (i.e. 10k) and you estimate that 40% of those who drop their names and phone numbers are going to become paying customers, then you'll just pay 40% of 10k for each good lead (that is, 4k). |
R. Kelly. Who is Tyrese? Taekwondo or handgun? |
I think you forgot to say "thank you" first. ![]() |
If you are in a position to do more than just talking, then be my guest. Nobody is stopping you. However, it is hypocritical to criticize a muslim for saying "Islam is a religion of peace" when you are sitting on your ass, also doing nothing about the problem. This is a case of pot calling kettle black, and I strongly detest that sort of hypocrisy. |
Professor Soludo's solution is to restrict competition in the industry. What a joke. Now if I want to start a progressive bank to compete with these people I will need 25 billion naira. How many centuries will it take to get that kind of money, even if every business I go into turns out to be a success? There are only 2 ways to raise that kind of money: IPO and graft. Anyway, I don't care I just want my accounts to be operational, that's all. If they like let them the 25 banks merge to form Nigeria Bank. Afterall, big is better. Nonsense. |
They get these amunitions by stealing oil and selling it in the black market. There is some speculation that governors like Alameigheseigha are also sponsiring these groups. Governor Alams recently offered to help with the current hostage crisis if released fro prison! |
Hehe. Nice surprise! |
Wow, alheri. Thanks |
How do I know if a lead is effective? That would mean I have to trust you. I may be able to trust you, but my intention is to help hundreds of businesses to advertise their wares. I can't possibly trust all these businesses to give me accurate information about how many of my leads have been successful. What I want is to be paid for "promising leads" i.e. "people who are interested". I give you the phone numbers, you pay me the money, and then you follow up. It'll now be left to you to make sure that those promising leads do not walk away without patronizing you. A promising lead is someone who has read your ad in detail and wants to learn more. How much would you pay for that? |
My experience with Zenith Bank post consolidation: I went to the gate. Met the firece policement guarding it. They asked me "what do you want". I said "I want to make enquiries about opening a bank account. THe policeman said "come here". And then he gave me the list of requirements for savings accounts and current accounts. He said I need 100,000 naira. I left. He didn't let me enter the premises at all. Eventually, I was able to open the account by going there with a family member who is their customer. They wanted to know where my money comes from. They demanded documents from Google showing that I'm not a 419er. They asked me to write a letter to the bank explaining how I make my money. Finally they told me to deposit 20,000 naira into my new current account. I didn't have 20,000 naira. So the process of opening my domiciliary account was halted. What t.f. do I need a current account for when I have no money to put there? How t.h. do I get money without my domiciliary account? Anyway, here I am several weeks later. I have 20,000 naira in my current account. I'm still waiting for the domiciliary account. And that is why I love Charles Soludo and his consolidation policy. Now we have only one bank in this country: GTB Plc. |
Yes, this is exactly what I am looking for. Some questions for you: 1) Are you willing to take clients from all over the country, or just Lagos? 2) How much would you pay for a lead - the phone number of someone who has indicated interest in what you have to offer? 500? 1000? 5000? (considering the fact that the product is worth 200,000 naira!) |

davidylan, my obvious point is that talk is all that we can do. Whether you are a muslim or a Christian, unless you are in the police or armed forces, there is absolutely nothing you can do except to discuss the issues and make those radical muslims realise that their actions are entirely wrong even by Islamic standards. Peaceful muslim, like other Nigerians, are busy thinking about how to get their next meal. They don't have the time to start working as emergency counter-terrorism operatives just because some nuts are killing in the name of their religion. All they can do is talk and make it known that suicide bombing does not belong to their religion. That is aceptable to me. |

Indomie noodles! I'm an expert at preparing that one! |
It's www.itnnetwork.com. Good luck! |
Nice post, Ynot. Thanks for sharing. I'll consider setting up a network admin forum if you make more posts like this one. For now networking is under 'Computers'! |
Danzou is not bad as such. But I think he sees the Kyuubi and Akatsuki as threats to Konoha and he sees Orochimaru as the only one who can help them to neutralize those threats. Danzou is not evil; no matter what he's loyal to Konoha! I think Naruto will have to kill himself in order to destroy Kyuubi. That's the only way. Do you think Kyuubi will die if Naruto dies? In the anime he says something like that, but I haven't found it in the manga. And finally, do you think we should create a Naruto discussion forum? |
Why can't you post what you know about MTEL GPRS on the forum instead of asking people wto call your private (MTN) number? ![]() |
