Sorry, oga, but I think the consolidation aspect of your idea is wrong. This is otherwise known as Charles Soludoism. Let us wait a few years before jumping to conclusions about the merits of government-imposed consolidation, although even if the banking industry improves, it might just be because of the efforts of EFCC in weeding out corruption and not the central bank governor's magical consolidation theory. At this rate, people will soon be asking webmasters to "consolidate" and by that time Nairaland will be the biggest and most profitable forum so I will be very happy to acquire all my competitors when they become "ripe for cherry-picking" https://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/24.gif.

For me SCORPIO takes the cake HANDS DOWN. Take a peek at her profile picture, guys, and tell me if you disagree.

SCORPIO your beauty is truly fearsome and is certainly capable of triggering car wrecks and heart attacks. You ought to carry a permit to look so damn fine. Lord have mercy.

Well you guys, any other contenders come close ?
Bah. All because you saw her partly exposed boobs. Ladies, that's a fashion tip for you. If you can just show your boobs in such a way that they appear to be genuinely large (push-up bras), even grown men of the most sophisticated variety will lust after you. grin

Excerpt: "why would a God create people so imperfect, then blame them for their own imperfections, then send his son to be murdered by those imperfect people, to make up for how imperfect those people were, and how imperfect they were inevitably going to be?"
Christianity EtcCatholic Woman Becomes Atheist: "Letting Go Of God" by Seun(mod): 2:08am On Feb 13, 2006
Julia Sweeney was born into a Catholic family and considered herself a good Christian. However, when she experienced an emotional healing experiece decided to pay more attention to the bible, she was disturbed by the facts in the bible and eventually became an athiest after asking many questions and not recieving satisfactory answers.

Excerpts From An Interview About Her Story
I was 38, and I was going through a personal crisis where this guy I'd been dating for four years and totally expected to marry and have a family with abruptly broke it off. It really sent me into a tailspin. I was praying quite a bit -- "God, help me through this time" -- and waking up crying a lot.

"And then I had one night where I had an experience that I considered to be religious -- it's not like God's face came and talked to me or anything, but I just felt a presence in the room, and then I felt really kind of healed. "

I felt like I was being taken care of by God, and then after that, I thought, you know, I'm 38. It's time to get serious about religion. Let's go join the church and get those little envelopes and be a giver and sign up for some committees, you know? And so I did, and then one of the things I signed up for was Bible study class, and that was the beginning of the end.

My mom said, "Well, you're brilliant, but you're wrong!" And then my sister Meg, who is so sweet and wonderful, said, "Well, I just think most people haven't thought about it as much as you have" -- which I thought was a very nice thing to say.

And then my brother Jim was very funny. He said, "Well, Julia's looked into it -- I guess there is no God!" He goes: "She does good research. I believe her, because I would never read all that stuff! Well, she just saved me a lot of time!"

RomanceRe: Busy Girlfriend by Seun(mod): 12:59am On Feb 13, 2006
Such a girl is best referred to as "smart". When you finally dump her - yes, you will - she will not fall apart since she has other pursuits in her life that are arguably more important than ephemeral boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. It's a positive quality. Maybe she's a finance minister in the making? wink

ComputersRe: Google Plans Wireless Internet Network To Cover Abuja by Seun(mod): 12:49am On Feb 13, 2006
There are two things you guys should know:
- Google is different from the US government. It is just a young American company with so much money that they are eager to waste some of it.
- In this case, it was the Nigerian government that convinced them to choose Abuja and not a different town.

Dear Sir,

My father was suffered by Paralysis in the year 1980 and after medical treatment now he is completely all right.

He was suffered by Myocardial Infection (heart attack) In the year 1990. Angiography was carried out at AIIMS New Delhi, resulting multiple narrowing and blockage, hence Board of Doctors deny for CABG. Ultimately since then he is under treatment of cardio physician. He is taking following medicines:

1. Tab. Emdure 60 mg 1 OD
2. Tab. Amlopress AT 25 mg 1 od
3. Tab Colsprin 1 od
4. Tab Isordil 5 mg sos

Recently he was fell down resulting fracture near nack joint of right leg, nailing was done by doctors.

During the above operation it has came to our notice that Blood, Creatinine and potassium are on higher side, more then four time of standard. K-Bind powder was given and potassium came down by 4.0 ME/ql but S. Sodium is 132 ME/ql, S. Chloride is 37 ME/ql.

Most important thing is here that his Blood Urea is 195 MG/DL and S. Creatinine is 5.4 MG/DL.

Some time back he is also suffering by Prostate.

Echocardiography was also carried out on 27.1.2006 as per report conclusion is: “Large sized left ventricle with moderately impaired left venricular systolic function Grade III MR and Mild AR and TR.”

Since 26th January 2006 he is on bed due to nailing.

Kindly advise us on following points:

1. Why these (Blood Urea & S. Creatinine) are on higher side.
2. How it can be reduce.
3. Any treatment that you feel suitable to him.
4. Any seriousness or caused any serious decease.

An early reply in the matter is solicited.

FashionRe: How Would You Want Your Girl To Dress On Your First Date? by Seun(mod): 9:43pm On Feb 12, 2006
I'll say, "just wear something simple". Why should she display all her "valuables" for me when there's the possibility that after that date I might not want to see her again?

Once I bought the first domain at $2.99, they didn't allow me to buy any new domains for $2.99. Subsequent domains were priced at $9.99 (or what am I missing?)
