@jidegirl You can't be serious, you mean i should fight my mother who has been thare for me since when i know nothing, when i was nothing, when there is nothing , the woman who have sometime in her live almost give up her life for me to live, who have given the food she was suppose to eat and she slept hungry, the woman who sold her thing so that i can go to school etc girl you can't be serious. Even though i love you as my wife but every body have their place and nobody will be allow to pass their jurisdiction. But for me to fight her because of you? Wify/girl sorry i can't do that. The truth is that in a clean courtship, they are both waiting in anticipation for that day to come, cos that day is what is holding them back from the main thing. That N2.2billion can finance @least 1000 graduates for self employment and those graduates can employe more than 10,000 peaple directly and many more thausand indirectly.
I know the present banquet hall in side villa it is beside villa administrative building not far from MDGs office, the hall is superb and it was just renovate last month/this month. I guess they just want to waste our money that could have contributed positivly into the lives of many graduate, peaple and national Gdp. Well i guess they don't realy care about us.

One girl came from anambra to visite her sister which i share apartment with in Abuja, when this girl left for school she called my stu*pid woman freak friend(who does not respect himself when it comes to girls) that she is disapionted in me, she said she came all the way from anambra i can't give anything despite her tried to be friendly with me, she also conplained about her sister's boyfriends who does not give her money. Is it not better to have the infrastructures and pay for their uses than not having anything at all?
Can we do something to make government to reduce the toll fee?
Seriously i will like it if government can provide standard infrastructure every where in the city with sensible toll to make live comfortable for peaple.

I also noticed that when it is time for action and two of you are in horney mood ladies don't realy care about how you do it, either you use condom or not it is your own bisness and this has put alot of them at risk more than ever before. Her mother was going to say, you are not breaking an engagement for such a nonsense. His mother was going to call her silly, even if she cought her red handed 7 times. He is still marrying you and that is important.

Did you think that society that make it that way is foolish? No infact most of the behavoural patern in our society are formed based on thausand of years of expirience.
my friend i know that if you have a bros girlfriend/wify that cheats, you will react to it than when ur sis boyfriend or hubby do so. Because one is more dangerious than the others, i have seen a situation where girlfriend forced the boy into marriage due to pregnancy only to find out 12years later that he is not the father of the baby, i have also witnessed a situation where 3 of the five children thus not belong to the father after 18year of marriage. If it was the boy that cheated we can't have this kind of situation, the worst case is that the guy will marry the other girl and not his real girlfriend and this will only cause short time pain not everlasting sorrow.
Women are very inportant to life than men is, and simple mistake can either take life or ruin it forever. Therefore no single misbehavour is tolerated from women.

Church as always be the helping hand for peaple failed by their leaders and it seem to work for both parties. About the issue of pastor defrauding, i wonder what is fraud in that. Do peaple complain to you that what they paid for is not working?
Do you know how many peaple has been saved in the church from spiritaul, emotional, finacial, sicknes and deseases.
If their is something wrong going on in our churches, why can't we ask ourself why it is happening. To me it is still same answer government has failed peaple now you blame others for being a resting sholder.

Have you heard of something called remedia, pre degree and pre lims? The first two are into university and the last is for polytechnic. Due to the high cut off mark of southwestern university since late 1990s prospectus student in southwest have find short cut to buy pass jamb since then, this programe increases university financial income all tertiary institusion in southwestern Nigeria, this has encouraged them to admit more students from the programe than from jamb, hence the implication is the drop in jamb enrolments in southwest. You may verify it by finding out how many peaple were admited trough jamb and remedia/predegree, you will be suprise that almost half of university student from southwest are trough predegree.

But the OP's shortsightedness is leading this thread down a hole that shouldn't even be in one's purview! now we're stuck with another negative SE vs SW thread!

I think Nairaland moderators are to be blame for this, they tend to promote any thread that will lead to direct attark on Nigerian parsonalties (well they may deserve it) and ethnical fighting or hatred to the frontpage, this has entered into peaples blood. Op could have framed the topic in a sensible ways that will lead to good debate, but how will it make front page if it is not like that. I have even see modrator reframed thread tittle for it to lead to direct attark on somebody and pitch north against south here on nairaland. I belive another thread that convey thesame message in with sensible tittle is existing but it is suffering somewhare due to lack of promotion.

What op write up her is not a big deal, even there is a city called yoruba city in tranidad and tobago and their ambasador during OBJ term in office, comfirmed similarities in culture, lang, dresing and food except that he said Yoruba spice their food more.
Also i ve seen jenifer lopez enter a temple to pray in one of her song and inside it they wrote casar obatala. Many brazillians, careabians and south americans speak yoruba and study Yoruba culture in their university and thare are atleast two of them on nairaland.
