Romance › Re: Guys: Would You Date A Lady Older Than You? by seunfly: 10:49am On Oct 10, 2012
FlowerPower: I continue to see posts stating "women age faster than men". If you are referring to physical appearance, this depends on where you live in the world. Most American women definitely do not "look" older than men of the same age. However, that does not stop old wrinkly men from chasing 20 year old girls. Stop working Nigerian women to death, and maybe their physical beauty won't fade so quickly. angry
flowerpower let me tell you this, anywhare in the world women ageing is faster than men however, in advace countries women have many body enhancing treatment and therapy that average american women and others undergo atleast once in thire life time, this make them little younger than thire men. the same is applicable to rich Nigerian women who travel abroad to enjoy it.

cooldipo: I have been reliably informed that Mr Olayinka, the Chief Press Officer to the National Vice Chairman of PDP SW, Chief Segun Oni, .............. It is unbelievable and unaceptable for a journalist to be so subjected to such level in a democratic Nation like Nigeria..
Though am not in support of maltreatments and inhumane treatments of any citizen of Nigeria either journalist, students, traders, doctor or roadside mechanic. But it is quite unfortunate, unaceptable, blackmailing for a politicians to be refered to as journalist, because once you are an active and office holder of a political party you can never function as a fair journalist again. So for a well known politician to hide under journalism goodwill to seek sympaty is abuse of profesional previlege which if not look into by profesional body, may affect peaple's perception and sympaty on that profesion in the near future.

It is just like Ruben Abati or Doyin okupe being attack and they now call it attack on journalist just for them to benefit from journalism goodwill, is'nt it wrong?

How will governments build roads without removing the buildings and signpost along the way?

Pennywise: You want her looking good. But you wont spend money on her because u are saving for a laptop. Dont worry. Some other guys you dont know will happily spend the money.
My brother at this stage of my life, i can't spend on any girl to buy her love. If I have some money, i can give it to anybody in need including her but not because i want her to love me. Any girl that can not love me without my money can move on to those who can do the spending, by the way am looking for wify and that is perfect way to screan them out and get the best possible one. Real gold is not pick from ground it is minned and dig out with alot of process.

knotty: Without a functioning rail system from source to loading vessels, your Iron ore deposit is useless.
The logistics of moving Iron is so huge that your price will never be competitive internationally except the grade is above 60%. Where will you get that.
Besides, USA/China have some sweet Iron Ore deposit that they can completely ignore Kogi State...Where on the map is that State again?
Why are you peaple so wicked and jealous like this? when others want to progres you will badmouth it and wish bad luck for it. Last time it was lagos/ibadan rail that will not work for 20years today it is kogi iron ore tomorow what will it be? Though am happy that they are now becoming more relivant in our dear country's democracy but you just don't have to keep making noice about it, keep your cool and enjoy the benefit rather than calling undue attention to your self. JallowBah: Warn your girl child never to sit on anyone's laps no matter the situation including uncles.
Wai, what? So because SOME people are perverts, you are gonna treat everyone as if they MIGHT be? And you do know that women also are abusers, not only men?

Avoid getting dressed in front of your child once he/she is 2years old. Lean to excuse yourself.
Why is this? Is it not better to teach the child that a naked body is a natural thing, not something to be ashamed of?

If you have to hire a house-help please kindly take them for HIV screening to determine their HIV status, properly interview them
and make up your mind to treat them well.

Is this even allowed??

Never allow any adult refer to your new born as ‘my wife’ or ‘my husband’
...why?

The rest I can somewhat understand, but still not agreeing on much of it.
Jallow Op is talking from Nigeria point of veiw, thare are something that happen here may be due to our culture etc that makes all this good advice in Nigeria.

Politics › Re: Other Than Fashola And Oshiomole, Which ACN Governor Is Working? by seunfly: 11:20pm On Oct 03, 2012
Ikengawo: PDP have Amaechi, Sullivan, Imoke, Lamido, Akpabio
and AGPA which controls 3 states, has Rochas, and Obi

but continues to claim exclusivity to being 'progressive'
ACN Control just six states and two is working to your own satisfaction that is 33% compare to pdp of which only 2 of those you mention are working at the the level of fash and osh out of 28 which is approximatly 7% and for apga only Rochas i can compare to them 1 out of 3 which is 33% others you mention 4rm obi to lamido are not bettern other ACN governors now check for your self

ACN = 33%
APGA=33%
PDP = 7%
while 77% ACN and APGA are average probably 10% of PDP are average remaing 83% are bad so which one is good and bad.

StarFlux: Hello, again!

I was listening to dami duro by Davido, and was wondering what exactly it means.
I know duro means stop, and mi - me, so I assume ema dami duro means don't try to stop me, followed by the emi omo baba olowo (I'm a rich man's/father's son) but what does the da in dami mean?

I looked up try/attempt and i I found dan and da aba, so maybe the da is dan, so it means try? Would make sense. The reason I'm in doubt is because all the words set together is what I find very hard to learn.
you are correct, also
DA can be use to express something in process or process of something. To me it's more of technical rather than having a peculia meaning something like "is".

NOTE my interpretation is base on my opinion street language usage and may not be the real linguistic analysis so you may have to consult language expert.

Rotimi amechi is an excellent governor has done what nobody ever imagine to be possible considering what his predicessor did when he was in office, in his first 4years in office he built schools that serves as a model to any schools (public and private) in Nigeria, dualise some important roads and kickstart the era of light rail in entire southeast and southsouth region.
Weakness: peaple think he is embacking on too many white elephant project which he may likely abandone at the end of his tenure,
peaple also think he has slow down his developmental project since the begining of his second term.

Overall he has tried comparing him with his predicessor, but with the resources he has access to he is a bite above average.

RATING 6.5 or 7
Politics › Re: Rate Your State Governor's Performance 1 To 10 by seunfly(op):
Fashola is one of the best governor Nigeria has ever produced, under him Lagos internally generated revenue increaced by 500% and Lagos infructural developments rise to the extent that he became the bench mark for southwest governors.
Weakness: peaple think most of his infrastructural developments are in wealthy peaple's enviroment such as ikoyi, lekki, Vi etc
peaple also think he serves godfather and that he is mortgaging lagosians future to the godfathers

overall i give him above average aleast at the level of our present leadership in Nigeria.

RATING 7.5
