Politics › Re: Traffic -Jam In Lagos As Hawkers Are Being Arrested At Agbara By Police And Kai by seunfly: 3:18pm On Nov 10, 2012
geeez: While I sympathize with them, I think they should realize that there are streets where street hawking is prohibited for security reasons and there are signs on those roads indicating that

Why can't people just obey simple laws? cry
Thank you jare, we are just to used to blaming gov and we forget that there should be standard in every thing, somebody hawking on the highway, express road, under high tension cable or railway line is very dangerous to life of both the hawkers, road uses or passer by. But we just don't know that and instead of finding out why, we just blame the gov.

Nigeria like sharing too much, if state is not sharing, ministers will be sharing, governors share, senators and house of rep share, civil servant share everthing in Nigeria is Share! Share!! Share!!!
Politics › Re: Revenue Formula: RMAFC Gets 14-day Ultimatum From Reps by seunfly: 7:30am On Nov 09, 2012
This revenue sharing thing which has made Nigeria states lazy, uncreative, unproductive and increase corruption. When are they going to move motion on state independent on federal allocation when every state will stand alone on it's feet. Instead of sharing, sharing and sharing.

She is a Nigerian, what ever tribe/ethnicity she is from should not be subject of debate. because that is what has been bringing us down since inception, and i will urge us to please delect the what tribe mentality.

Politics › Re: Ijaws &other Southsouth Minorities Are The Greatest Enemies Of Igbos Not Yorubas by seunfly: 1:07am On Nov 03, 2012
For me i don't think anyone hate each other, what we are esperiencing is fear of domination by others which lead to unhealthy compitition and rivaries fuel by our selfish elders, leaders and peaple we look up to. The elders do this to cover up their past failures, the leaders do this to gain power and cheap political advantage while peaple we look up to do it so that we will not take our eyes off them which make them to remain relivance in our lifes. Unfortunatly we youth are allowing them to use us by believing them and acting it, which make it look like it is real. Otherwise i school with ibos, calabars, ibom and other tribes and i never noticed anything uptill university.
Family › Re: If Your Husband Did A Paternity Test For Your Children? by seunfly: 12:01am On Nov 03, 2012
I don't know why women like to hide things, partenity test should not turn to qurrel in the house it is just like you are in school and you don't want to write exam. If your husband tries it, no big deal if you don't have anything to hide and if you passed it all you know you are promoted simple. A man that keep phones, emails, conversation with female friends and his location from his wife is guilty as a wife who is angry over parternity test.

Where will the power come from?
my brother no matter how bad the idea is or how unrealistic it is, it can never be worse like kano state that use the same amount for salah ram, rivers that use multiple of that amount to buy jet, bauchi state use it to buy cars for emirs, lagos asembly use same amount to buy cars and so on.

Their ceasefire is welcome gov may give them amnesty but i won't suport any amnesty parkage(finance) for them because it's like paying them for killing inocent peaple particularly christians, family man, bussines men etc and this will send a wrong message to criminals, in no time kidnapers, harm robbers, cultist too will want amnesty parkage.
Politics › Re: Niger To Build 90 Units Of Cottage Industries At N1.4bn by seunfly:
This is the kind of things we want them to use peaple's money to do, not sharing it for salah ram like kano, use it to by jet like rivers state, use to send peaple to quranic competition like sokoto, use it for pigrimage and other stupid things they use our money to do.
Education › Re: 53% Foreign-schooled Doctors Fail Induction Tests by seunfly:
solomon111: Cool down,lady.
You are taking this too personal,or maybe it is personal.
It is a known fact that doctors trained in Nigeria are somehow better than those in the host country.
A friend of my cousin that just graduated from UNIBEN has been snapped up by W.H.O,and from the report i got,he was the best in the test that was set for them.
He outscored students from the US,UK,Germany,Canada,e.t.c.
Besides those rankings are not necesarily based on the quality of education in those universities.
I am quite sure that a good number of the universities those doctors that failed the induction exams went to,are ranked higher than Nigeria.
So i would take those rankings with a heavy dosage of salt.
my friend, it's like you don't know that Nigerian graduates are always the best when it comes to written exames, the problems is practicing, exposure to modern technics and use of modern equipments.
I ve been opportune to assese Nigerian graduate and foriegn graduate, mennh! Nigerian can quote 1000 theories and it's application, they can define and explain many principle at glance but ask them to practice that same thing, you will be disapointed.

Though i see this as a good sign, this means if our leaders can be serious and provide our universities with the same practital apparatus like their counterpact in usa, europe and asia. Nigerians has ability to asimilate things that they were taught better than others.

Agriculture › Re: Lagos Partners Songhai To Develop Agriculture by seunfly: 1:08pm On Nov 01, 2012
It's high time we start practicing agriculture in Nigeria, infact i will recomend all state especialy north to dedicate majority of their resources to agriculture and education for the next 10years. Instead of being the largest inporter of agric produce in Africa, we can be a well known exporter.
Politics › Re: Lagos Acquires 50 Hectares Of Land In Abuja, And Ogun To Cultivate Food by seunfly: 2:21am On Nov 01, 2012
Frankly, state governments have no business going into farming or any other business.

This is what you get when you put a city manager equivalent, in charge of a state.
Nonesense!!
But one of the functions of gov is food security, i think one of main characteristic of good gov is to do what private bodies dim not profitable but neccessary for her population, Nigerians do not like agriculture as many sees it as illitrate occupation, every body want to be an oil dealer, politician or do whitecolar job. also fedral gov policy does not favour it eg high intrest rate of about 15% with high cost of land and other factors.
Honestly i think if fedral and all states gov had make this your so called NONESENSE step all this while and maintained it, we would'nt have been the biggest inporter of food in Africa.

Therefore i will rather go for city managers than a state governor if city manager will be taking this kind of initiatives.

Another member of the group, Comrade Emeka Onwane said: “Benjamin Onwunka, our leader, resides in London, but he came to Nigeria because of this Biafran freedom we are talking about. He has participated in various rallies and campaigns.
I am tired of all this so call leaders who does not reside, do bussines, have families or have investment in Nigeria yet they come and instigate problems in already troubled nation after which they will go back to where their own family is, leaving us to the problems they stired. Most of them know that, when it begines it will not affect them, their families and their livelyhood. Yet they will come and divide us the more and create enimity between us. Sometimes i wonder what they want to gain, is it popularity, recognation or contract.
Please don't think i am refering to any particular tribe here, i am talking about all of us west, east, south and north.
We have to stop them from doing this to us. They should rather use their connections, exposure and information to put presure our government to do the right thing.
