I don't know which kind of country is my dear Nigeria, always misplace prirority, that money could build road, standard hospital, better schools, susidize agricultural product or build some estate for kano citizen. Just like in march when sokoto anounced to spend some million dollars to sponsor contingent to middleeast to compete in quranic competition. Well Sanusi and others can you see the real cause of Boko Haram instead of saying they need more money.

ziqqz: There are no trading platforms that are discriminatory by nationality. At least none that I know of. Many Nigerian forex traders, like me especially, are usually greedy and irrational when it comes making sound trading and money management decisions. Inevitably, the consequence of such traits are all too known: big-time losses and the transfer of blame...

I've been trading only since 2009, and my first and only broker has been Alpari (UK). I have no complaints about this broker. I have never, NEVER had a problem with withdrawals. In fact, when I place a withdrawal order, I immediately log in to my online banking account to watch for when the funds come in. I don't know about Nigerian banks, but it takes as little as 20 - 30mins. for the wire transfer to reflect in my US bank account. I also remember some of my lucky consecutive days of trading when I made thousands of $s and I was so excited that I was withdrawing on a daily basis. Except for the standard charge of about $25 which I lose when i withdraw, everything goes well between me and my broker in that regard.

PS: I registered with Alpari UK while in Nigeria, as a Nigerian, and all my registration documents are of Nigerian origin. So I don't think brokers discriminate against Nigerians. You can check out their website and read through procedures involved in opening a live account. Hope this helps.

Good luck!
thanks

Instead of recorgnising the fact and using it as a baseline for inprovement either in your own party, state, tribe or region. They will want to pull others down therefore we are all going down. StarFlux: okee, e se pupo.

Mo wo iwe oro, sugbon mo ko wa awon oro die ri.

- Lerin
- Hun
- Kiwa (ki wa?)
- Kon (ko nlo, be go?)
- Gan

Mo ko mò yii (oro ora):
O ti pa mi lerin ju pelu ijinle yoruba ti iwo omo yi hun so.

O gba itumo oro mi, kiwa lode ti o fi hun bere re?

Oti gbo ede wa gan o, koda o gbo ju awon kon lo.

forgive me oo, i dont understand everything unless it is written like i know it. I hope i will be able to understand more and more without relying on spelling. Also, the verb "ye". I don't understand fully how it works. For example (I understand): o ye mi. Why is it written like this?

F.ex: emi ko ye o gbogbo. Is this wrong? Ko ye mi o gbogbo. Is this the right form?
Sorry for not responding to you on time, i was very busy.

Ok let start.

Lerin = ni + erin ( erin is laugh/ smile).
Gan = much
kiwa = ki + wa? (Why)
kan = else/only (it can only go with noun or pronoun) ex iwo ni kan only you, ohun ni kan only him/her, awon kan some peaple/someone else. But i missed the spelling not kon it is kan.
Hun = ohun (short form) but it's refering to you.
Koda = infact

Ye = understand
ko = negate any word
gbogbo = all
re = it
gbogbo re ko ye mi = i do not understand it all/ all i don't understand.

O ti ye mi = i understand

gbogbo re ti ye mi = i understand all.

StarFlux: Bawo l'irole? (How is the evening?)
There might be another way to say it.
You are right, but you can simply remove the word irole from it since it is present. You don't need to specify except if it is past or future

example:
how is this evening?
If we are in evening already and you are just greeting you will say
BAWO NI?

But if you are enquiring about the past evening you will say

BAWO NI IROLE (ANON/ ijeta)?

But if you are making equiry of today's evening you will say

Bawo wo ni irole/ bawo ni irole oni?

So the translation will depend on the context of mind or sentence.

Hi ziqqz

i have tried forex trading before around 2006,2007 and 2008, but seems all trading platform then are just waiting for we Nigerians to invest, make profit and then we will not be able to withdraw the money, also any time we make attempt to withdraw it's like we have open gate for lose because any trade we attempt after that time is lose for us this made me to suspect that they usualy put us in simulating trade.

ZIQQZ how long have you been trading? Also have withdraw without difficulties? If yes please tell which platform you are using and precedure. Cos i will like to try it again.
Thanks

Romance › Re: Types Of Women, Men Should Date by seunfly: 4:45pm On Oct 16, 2012
El Guapo: 7 TYPES OF WOMEN EVERY MAN SHOULD DATE

I am going to give men a starting point for the type of women I feel are a good consideration to date. Men, know the goal is to have a woman u can love, cherish, hold, and make your wife. Of course what I am about to list is no guarantee of a good woman, but should be used as a foundational guide of what she can look like emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and personality-wise.

Here are 7 types of women every man should date:

• 1. Submitted to God – If a woman is submitted to and passionate about living for God, she will be the same to you, assuming you’re a man submitted to God. There is something special about a woman who truly serves God.

• 2. A Selfless Woman – A selfless woman will understand the importance of working together, sharing, devotion, and commitment for the right reasons. Her motives will be to help make life a little better for you. She will understand that dying to self doesn't mean she does not love herself.

• 3. A Simple and Low Maintenance Woman – A low maintenance woman tends to be focused on the truly important things in life. I’ve found them to be non-clingy, very rational, and supportive. She won’t care about how much money you have or don’t have. She will like you for who you are and is not looking for what you can do for her. She accepts you freely because she is comfortable in who she is. She is more about becoming a better woman than just appearing to be a good woman.

• 4. A Woman Who Can Truly Be Your Best Friend – Friendship before love is always best before a serious relationship.

• 5. Emotionally Stable – This type of woman understands God gave her emotions and instincts to give man balance. She understands emotions are never used as a decision making tool, because emotions can lead you outside of the will of God. The devil drives us off a cliff using emotions and God gently leads us with wisdom.

• 6. A Loyal and Patient Woman – She is with you through the good and the bad. She’s there if you’re rich; she’s there if you’re poor (if you have 2 cents, 2 dollars, or 2 million dollars… makes no difference). She is right there cheering you on and helping you to be great. She will not be looking for other men, because all of her attention is with you. She will uplift, support and encourage you.

• 7. A Woman with Character – This should go without saying, but I will add this (and this type should really be the first thing you consider for any woman). She must be of a woman of good character. Without character, it will be difficult to even build a strong friendship.

Character is what we do when other people are not looking, but God always knows what we are doing (e.g. A woman who will still entertain men, giving out her number to other men, etc is not serious about a courtship leading to marriage and it speaks to her character). How she will honor and respect the relationship as you grow together when you are not around speaks volumes about her character. cool

http://quentinmccall.com/7-types-of-women-every-man-should-date/
With all this qualities you listed i don't think you want Nigerian girls at all, because majority of them lack atleast 4 of the 7 points you mentioned, especialy point 2,3 and 6 mehn you must be very (very very very) lucky to see any Nigerian girls with such attributes put together.

Romance › Are Nigerian Guyz Truly Wicked Or Girls Choose Wrongly? by seunfly(op): 4:07pm On Oct 14, 2012
I have been hearing accusation and counter accusation from both parties about relationship in Nigeria, however Nigerian girls seems to complain most this make me to study romantic relationships in Nigeria.
When i was in university i noticed that 90% of guys confessed how they love and can do anything for a particular girl but only 15% of them usualy have such girl the remaining girls usualy fall into the hand of the 10% of guys who never confess any love, most time those guyz have many girlfriends yet many girls will still want them and fall for them.
In my church i noticed same thing comited christain girls will see spirit filled brothers yet they want bro Ayo, victor and other happening guyz in the church even when they know that bro Ayo use to come with one lady, yet they still run after him rejecting other serious bro.

This made me to think that, are Guys truly wicked or our ladies choose wrongly knowing they are gambling yet they proceed with hope that they will steal the show from other fellow women who has intrest in same guy.

Your Opinion please.

But poverty has taken over the whole place and everybody now look for way to better thier lives hence love is auction out to the highest bidder in cash Especialy in Nigeria.

In bussines the decision is yours but many nairaland ibo peaple just like to preach hatred against yoruba without knowing that every thing they say ibos are more guilty than anybody. Sunnykaka: Nope...... But I just want to know because me and a friend of my have being arguing that which is more organise....?
To be honest Lagos brt is more organised, sure, timely, and have fixed price. In Abuja the elrufai bus does not go everywhare everyday only subsidy bus do. And subsidy bus can decide to park somewhare while peaple are on que waiting for them at the other end. For example if you are in kubwa in the morning you may wait for 30minite or 1hour before bus will arrive and when you get to wuse you will see them park in one place while peaple are waiting 4 them, also because you conplain or you argue with one driver in your area eg kubwa he may decide not to go to kubwa again and change his detination to maraba/yanyan, suleja, deide. All this i believe does not happen with LagosBRT. The only advantage Abuja buses have over LagosBrt is price Abuja elrufai/subsidy bus is far cheaper than LagosBRT.
