These aren't the the few things that make up a complete phone. S10 Plus have a better video recording capability and it does that even in 4k. It has Dolby atmos with surround sound compared to mono speakers on P30 Pro. The headphone jack and SD card are retained which is better than no jack and proprietary Nano card on P30 Pro. OneUI is better than EmUI. You guys are getting carried away with the photography capabilities of the phone and ignoring some other details. Software update can bring S10 Plus closer to P30 pro in night shots since daylight shots are pretty much neck and neck while most areas Samsung edges out Huawei cant be fixed with software updates.

S10 Plus is a better overall device

Huawei P30 pro beat Samsung S10 plus in everything everybody can relates with on day to day bases except the headphone jack and dual dual speaker which is not a big deal at all, I bet more than 50% of phone users don't touch their earpiece letalone care if they have type c or headphone jack, however Huawei P30 also have Dolby atmos.

P30 pro can also make 4k video but at 30fps while Samsung can do that at 60fps even though Samsung beats it, it is not what average phone users care about.
I was thinking you will point out the kind of display used in Samsung which I think is superior to Oled used on Huawei, pixel density and proccessor is where S10 plus clearly wins and average phone users can relate to it in their day to day phone usage as well.
Like I v said earlier, P30 PRO beats S10 plus at what average phone users relates with on their phones and that is why everybody is making noice about P30 pro.

Design, camera, battery, processing power, charging speed and type, ram management, software optimization etc are what average people cares about phone.
The basic question are:
Will I be willing to pay extra $$ to have headphone jack and double speaker I don't even notice?
Will I pay extra $$ for my phone to take a better Pic, battery to last longer, have a good design, better priccessor and better software?

We all can answer the two questions.

Neither am I hence the reason I said P30 Pro is more of a camera than S10 Plus but the S10 plus is a better all rounder

Let's list it out and tick the box ourself.

Display = S10+
Design = Huawei reflective glass finish

Processor = S10+
Value for Money = probably Huawei.

I just laugh at the people shouting Sansung and IPhone, in all the review, Huawei came 1st, 2nd and probably 3rd from design, display, battery etc the only but is that snapdragon 855 beat kirin 980 in GPU department which is the only hedge samsung S10 has over it and that is why S10+ leads by 17000 on antutu.
I watch a review about battery test and Huawei also came first, Secound and third then followed by S10+ infact iPhone Xs max did not last beyong 5hours+ while S10 clock 7hrs and all the Huawei clicked 7hrs 44m+

Mate series is usually the ultimates, Huawei normally releases mate series around Nov/Dec, it will come with new kirin 900 series, better camera than P series and latest smartphone technology. Mate 20 was 2018 best smartphone. Mate 20 had almost all what Samsung S10 has this year, although it may not be advance, example is the wireless phone to devices charging that people think Samsung S10 was the first to introduce not knowing Huawei mate 20 pro had it since last year.

I watch a review on YouTube, the reviewer went to Birmingham and was taking pics of iconic places at night, he then took one shot, zoomed the taken picture and he got night stars. The star was from already taken pics ooo oh!!! He just zoomed one of the pictures from his gallery and voom stars.
However I feel the price is too hight, 200k+ is a fair deal but going 300k, oga I'm going back to mate 20 pro, I got no choice.

It is not just about the display, the phone is all-rounder, the only but is the priccessor. Exynos 7904 is weaker to today's midrange like kirin 710 infact it is weaker than Snapdragon 636, it is a little above snapdragon 632.
That is why most midrange phone performes better than any phone that has Exynos 7904 as it chips.
However the phone is good for the price.

I will recommend Nokia x5, it is 48k on Jumia and it is equivalent to what you will get at 60/70 of tecno and infinix.
You can also search for Xiaomi on Jumia, their is one within that range.

Buying any tecno or infinix phone is like you are cheating yourself because their price is always too expensive for the specs even if it was sold for 20naira.

Now I just want to get the complete screen and then fix it.

They use a very moderate chipset and the battery lasts very well e.g TECNO Pouvoir series, even the Camera and video quality is top notch, so what you saying?

@ bolded tell me if Tecno the guy mentioned or any tecno in the market can compete with those two phones the OP listed in relative to all what I listed? There is no need beating around the bush. Tecno has it own class and it own people, tecno people can go and enjoy their stuff in peace.

Think carefully and tell me if Tecno camon 11 pro or any tecno available in market can compete with the two phones he mentioned in all the following aspect.
1) Brand perception
2) Display quality, screen type and PPI
3) Poccessor, processing power, GPU capability etc
4) Build quality.
5) Second hand value.
6) Ram management, software smoothness etc
7) power management and battery capacity
camera quality, video quality etc
9) pricing viz-a-viz Brand, quality, proccessor, display and other spec.

I understand most of tecno marketers has to market it irrespective of the product and naive/unexposed tecno fanboys can say anything they want but the reality and fact is always available.

Brand perception Samsung A30
Display: Samsung A30 wins Amoled display with 403 ppi
Raw power: Huawei Y9 wins
Ram management: Huawei Y9 wins
Power management: Huawei Y9 wins.

My conclusion: even though I use Huawei Y9 and I'm planning to buy Huawei p30 pro due to the satisfaction I derived from Y9, I will advice you to buy Samsung A30 because it wins the battle between the two phones brand wise, display and second hand value.

Furthermore, the quality of schools and education is fair more than nice buildings and good furniture (as useful as both may be). The so-called Jakande Schools in Lagos bequeathed Nigeria with some fantastic products. The first step in education is access, and when you look at the incredibly WOEFUL numbers coming out of the North (a state like Zamfara had less candidates for the federal common entrance than many single schools in the South), the notion of Northern governments being “far better than southern leaders in terms of investment in education” simply rings absurd, especially when juxtaposed against the millions of out-of-school Almajiri children roaming the streets (not to mention the army of school-age teenage girls being married off). What’s point in providing air conditioned schools for only a minuscule handful?

Go back to my original comments, do u see yobe in my original post, I v traveled round this country and I can tell you the state that has serious issues. I can confidently tell you success school may not be representation of schools in the south but that is the reflection of majority of those schools.

Kindly go back and read my comment fully, However let me give you small info of what I wrote there.
Yes Education is the core of everything but I blame northern leaders for not doing everything to encourage their army of youth to go to school however they are far better than southern government in terms of education investments. Average gov schools in the north is far better and well equipped than average gov schools in the south, the educational success recorded in the south has nothing to do with the effort of the useless southern gov rather the culture of average southern parents. Would you have believed schools in delta state is as bad as that success primary school? The truth is, that is how bad average schools are in southern Nigeria. Most of the renovation and equipment southern public had are either from PTDF or UBE or MDGs etc the only thing gov does is to pay salaries and close their eyes.
For this reason, Northern leaders are far better than southern leaders in terms of investment in education but they need to do more to create the kind of culture we have in the south.

Design Huawei Y7 carries the day
Battery capacity Y7 carries the day

Processor Nokia x5 carries the day
Software optimization Nokia x5

I will rather go for Nokia.

It's is funny as we southerner still have prejudice about North and I'm sure many of you have not been to norther part of Nigeria b4, in terms of infrastructures, they are far ahead of South. Funny things is that many who find their ways to the north will blame past military government for it those infrastructures not knowing that 80% of those infrastructures was done by civilian governors while our own governors were busy stealing money and blaming federal government for their own failure. Let's take Kano for example, Kwakwaso did a very good Job turning the face of Kano around while Ganduje also added to it. I v been to Gombe, Jigawa, Bauchi, Katsina, Sokoto and I can tell you no state can match them in terms of infrastructure Viv a Viv their monthly allocation/ size yet many of the southern part especially southsouth that collect huge allocation has little to show for it. Some of you claimed that their IGR is low therfore they are not performing, this makes me laugh because they still manage to outperform the so called high IGR state and for reference sake, your IGR income thus not prove your performance, it is just what your state generates.
Lastly somebody claimed education is the key, yes it is the key but I only fault them for not doing anything serious to encourage their children to school but they are far better than most southern states in terms of education investment apart from Rivers state which was done during Ameachi's term, I know all this things because I was once a consultant to MDGs.
