Hi Doc, my dog is about 3mths old l.she suffered parvo and recovered. Later we noticed a wound just underneath her tummy which was so big that stiching wasn't an option. After series of treatments at the Vet, the wound is almost healed now and will cover up hopefully this week.
The challenge now is that she can hardly stand or walk. Right from the day we observed that wound some 2wks back, she has neither been able to stand or walk.
What do we do pls? Vet said i should wait for the wound to heal completely.

If you are in Lagos, go to any vet hospital, they would recommend you to a vet ultrasound diagnostic center, but if in Ibadan, go to UI vet hospital. For the drug, send me a mail, I'll respond with the name of the drug

Last week I noticed my BB was limping at his back leg I called the vet he came and ijected him with antibiotics and pain reliever after massaging it,after 3days he was okay and running on all fours only for me to wake up and see him limping again.pls what do you think it is,so worried.

So I took my dog to the hospital yesterday cus I was extremely worried. She was examined by the doc and I was advised to get abdominal X-ray which I did. So I took the X-ray result back to the hospital this morning.
Turns out she’s having what the doc called pseudopregnancy which means she’s not even pregnant at all despite showing pregnancy symptoms.in fact fluid were coming out of her nipples.

You can get any ketoconazole based topical anti fungal cream in a Vet or Human pharmacy shop. Or just ask for any good antifungal cream.

I treated her for tick infestation using azinthol for tick bath, ddforce for fumigation of her kennel and mectizan to battle the parasite from within. She’s fully free from ticks now but I noticed lately that she itches a lot with that ringworm-like stuff in her ear. I dey suspect yeast infection.

My Lhasa dog has been pregnant for over 3 months now and yet to give birth. Though I’ve been to the hospital and foetus were confirmed during examination but not through ultrasound. I was advised to either opt for cs or induced labor. I would have opted for induced labor I was told it’s dangerous as it might affect either the mother or the puppies bcus her cervix is really tight... it’s not her first pregnancy.
And can you confirmed if it’s a pure breed or mixed ..see attached pics

Good afternoon sir, on the first part, I'll advice CS. The risk of induced labor is quite high considering the present condition. Although CS is costly but the risk is lower compared to the induction.

Haven't you seen cases where a lecturer would victimize a student who probably snubbed his advances by deliberately squeezing and dispose her exam script and claim it got missing thereby subjecting the student to retake the course as a carry over course.

Does the lecturer go through any form of disciplinary action as a result of his carelessness?

This is Nigeria bro, those lecturers know each other perfectly so they cover for each other.
That girls exam script was obviously remarked and the score inflation was discovered that's why she was asked to go back to year 2 and retake her exams.

And she can't challenge the verdict because she knows that she'll loose miserably in court.

I disagree sir, it's mentality like that makes we lecturers get away with atrocities, if you have solid evidence like the Unilag incident, even if the lecturer is the VC's father, he would go down. Let me burst your brain, do you know we lecturers also have enemies amongst our fellow lecturers who are ready to collaborate with any student to bring us down, and those smiles you see amongst lecturers are all facades. So sir, never let anyone take advantage of you.

I disagree with you. Go back and read the University's verdict, her scripts were investigated.

Meaning that from 200 level upwards what she wrote on her exam scrip didn't deserve the score that was awarded to her. Her scores were massively inflated.

Her scripts alone will end any court case in favor of the university.

The best she can do is to go secretly to the school's Senate and finish what she started by sleeping with everyone of them and paying a substantial amount of money for her stupidity then learn to keep her mouth shut.

I disagree with your second paragraph sir, it wasn't stated anywhere in the article that after investigation they found out that "her scores were massively inflated". Moreover was it only her scores that were massively inflated? in that case a lot of lecturers would go down even the school examination board and the senate would be implicated because they were the ones who approved the "inflated scores".

There is no extra year here. If she can write all the exams in 24 hrs, the school will not object it. If she wants to write it in 20 years, it's her decision.
This iw where you lawyers can come to make sure, the timetable is suitable and scripts marked properly but taking the school to court, is a lost case.

Sir, can you write all your exams in 24 hours, remember practical is included, let's be realistic, is it possible? Without deceiving ourselves, we both know they indirectly gave her an extra "years". Or how will you feel if you went for an interview and because you failed a simple question, the company wrote to your alma mater that they doubt your qualification and your alma mater inturn now asked you to repeat all your exams from 200 level till 400 level, "just to be sure you really qualified for the degree" since there is doubt. My question is, would you see it as a test or as a punishment?

After investigation, the school gave her this punishment. Let me tell u something about school Senate/disciplinary investigation. The marking scheme will be followed up to the letter. Where a lecturer gave half mark for trying, they'll assume it was supposed to be zero. Any leniency in the marking of ur scripts will be termed fraud thereby nullifying the results. I remember very well a guy that contested his results back then in school. They brought him before the Senate committee to rewrite the papers and my guy blasted the whole thing. He was given an official letter of acknowledgement. That girl just allowed stupidity to override common sense.

I agree with the last part, but sir in this case her scripts is not their business, their only business is the invigilator's report on the conduct of all the exams she partook in, that lead to the award of her degree. These reports are well documented and they showed that all her exams were devoid of malpractice as supervised by the school authorities themselves. Her scripts only becomes a subject of concern, if she is contesting her result or the invigilator's report indicates malpractice. I hope you get my point sir

its no punishment, a graduating student says she got far by engaging in Aggressive Malpractice, the university responded by saying they will investigate her and check her examination answer script from 100L. where is the punishment? its due diligence, if she is found wanting, then she will face the consequence and serve as a deterrence to others that Malpractice in whatever form isnt allowed.

For a student to be awarded a certificate it is said that he/she has been found worthy in character and learning.

She is discrediting the university and tarnishing their image. What she did also have legal implications. She can't win that case besides the university decision on that matter can't be challenged or countered in a court of competent jurisdiction since it's not sexually related but dwells on ethics, rules and conduct of her students spelt out in the documents she signed in year 1.

I agree on the first paragraph and the need for her to be punished. But I disagree on the last part. As a student you can take your university to court on non-sexual issues and even academic conduct issues as in the case of Adegboruwa and Unilag, where some medical students were taken to different departments for not meeting the required academic prerequisites. Mr Ebun Adegboruwa, SAN is not a pocket lawyer that just takes anyhow cases.

This is a form of punishment sir, they indirectly gave her extra years for an examination she passed and was certified devoid of malpractice by the university until the shirt incidence. I believe she should be punished, but not on malpractice based on an alleged confession on a shirt

Haven gone through some very detailed posts here i take back my earlier stand. In agreement with the last post which i mentioned, i believe she's been punished for her behavior and lack of character.

Secondly, the punishment may be in consonance with the institution's "code of conduct/ethics". This i believe is actually the institution being merciful. Let her prove she was not involved in any way in any form of malpractice.

She doesn't need to sir, the malpractice and invigilation form has already done so, which gave her a clean bill of health sir. They would need a strong evidence to contradict their first position
