Please do a quick google search for that

The OP definitely doesn't know what he's talking about, you're part of those people who are looking for ways to drive traffic to your website by all means that you're ready to mislead people and wreck their devices.
1. To install a custom recovery you need a rooted phone.
2. To install SuperSU you need a custom recovery

You wrote that people should Google how to get custom recovery so as to install SuperSU, you're just laughable because once the get Custom recovery they already have root.
Stop misleading people for your selfish reason, go and look for a truthful way to make a living because once someone brick their devices following your wrong misleading, you won't be there to buy new ones for them.

@yemdogg

Chief I tried to PM you 2x to give you the feedback about my enquiry at Foreign affairs but no reply so I'll just say it here.

I was disappointed about the reply I got when I called an official there (I got his number from someone else). He gave a very insensitive reply about my complaint concerning the CIC time wastage and the rate of denial despite some people meeting their requirements, he wasn't really concerned, he also said that they can't interfere with their decision about who they allow into their country.

I'm not really surprised about his attitude because I've seen Nigeria citizens been maltreated by our own officials in London some times back.

Seeking a solution by employing an advocacy from our foreign affairs is not going to work because they don't care.

Nevertheless, we'll not give up but be hopeful and have faith because God is on our side.
This too will end in praise!!!

Boss this is a positive development and i am quite motivated.

I think moniker @seunskills was able to obtain a note verbal from the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs some weeks back. Flowing from this I think he should be able to link us or provide us with channels or avenues to get in touch with the federal ministry of foreign affairs. (Baba seunskills am sorry for calling you out, it's not in my habit buh I strongly feel you can link us or give us meaningful info regarding how to get in touch with the ministry of foreign affairs)

Thesoj thank you for this. I personally have thought about it buh I was really doubtful if anyone would get on board with the idea. I was also mindful of the fact that most masters applicants and PhD applicants are fairly treated with respect attention to their application and timely response from CIC. It's just PGC/PGD applicants that are facing these challenges. So if we can reconcile that and we're able to get some peeps on board not just PGC/PGD applicants it will go along way to assist our cause.
Sincerely, yesterday I was tempted to write Canadian embassy and lodge a complaint with respect the unfair processing times faced by Nigerians.

Michv, lawmerchant where art thou?

Sorry house for my late reply, I'm just seeing this post right now cos I'm just trying to catch up, couldn't check NL since Monday due to my work load in the office.

I don't know anybody at the foreign affairs but my office protocol department have a good rapport with them. I'll pay the dept a visit tomorrow and request for a contact there. I'll PM the outcome to the house tomorrow.

Let's be hopeful and remember that we will all win on the long run.

My fellow PGD/PGC applicant you cannot lose hope, dispatch any conspiracy theory of how your chances are limited and focus on how to consume the information on this thread before applying. Faith without the right actions is meaningless, educate yourself on knowledge shared here, and let your prayer start from the wisdom to do the right thing, there is a reason some define wisdom as the right application of knowledge.

Shout out to @yemdogg for always being there for others, Part 10 of this thread is not complete without you and @michV

Shout out to Oga Siga, even in your silence you have inspired others in the past who are doing the same now to others.

What else can i say? Tdot kan, Seneca kan? grin

This is a very strong words of encouragement from a grateful fellow. God specifically bless those who have been of help to others on this forum and all of us in general.
To the PGD/PGC trv hopefuls, we'll all celebrate soonest.

You can use case enquiry for verification of status, replacement and amendment of documents among other things.

It's quite easy.

You're to fill a form and then there is a box provided for your to write a letter to CIC explaining why the documents is necessary for your application and that such documents may affect the outcome of your application. Not more than 1500 words

Follow the link below

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

There's no guarantee.... And I learnt sometimes they may not even respond. But it doesn't hurt to try.

Thanks chief.
Going right ahead.

Baba Justwise this one wey you get our time today halleluyah grin

A note verbal is quite an important document but does it really cure any defect in a study permit application?

Moreso, he doesnt even work with the government; he works with an organisation who processed the note verbal on his behalf. These VOs dont just attach much importance to all the documents submitted by applicants, They have guidelines for reviewing and processing study permit application. They select relevant ones and discountenance others. Dont get me wrong i am not saying a note verbal is irrelevant or unimportant but in this context it seems a bit farfetched.

How does a note verbal expedite his application? we all know that most times when we submit our study permit applications they remain on queue for several weeks before the VOs even review the documents submitted. Until your application is opened, a VO would not know if you added a note verbal or not. Although some applications are attended to randomly. My point is, unless and until your application is opened a VO would ordinarily NOT know which document you submitted be it note verbal. Unless the Note Verbal is not included in his application package but sent directly to cic. More particularly so, he is not an official of the govt, he is not a diplomat, he is not going on an official assignment for the govt; He is simply furthering his studies; The vo may not see any cogent reason why his application should be expedited. Or is he one of those DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDER peeps grin.
Well i have not read the note verbal so i wouldnt know what was stated in it. All am just saying is that it would be advisable for him to first tie loose ends in his application. a note verbal is an addendum.

CIC has expressly stated the ways and means in which you can expedite your application. Its on their webiste.

I HAVE NOT USED A NOTE VERBAL BEFORE NEITHER HAVE I SEEN ANY ONE USED IT BEFORE SO I DONT KNOW TO WHAT EXTENT THESE VOs ATTACH IMPORTANCE TO IT. BUT SINCE YOU ARE CONVINCED THAT THE VO WILL ATTACH IMPORTANCE TO IT THEN BY ALL MEANS SUBMIT IT.
ACTUALLY IT DOESNT HURT YOUR APPLICATION. I WISH SEUNSKILLS BEST OF LUCK grin

I WOULD LOVE IF EGBON JUSTWISE EDUCATES ME FURTHER ON THIS SUBJECT...............WE LEARN EVERYDAY

Thanks for your comments on this issue, it is appreciated and I believe subsequent applicants in my scenario can learn from the discussion. I can't provide details but I'll state that:
1. I'm a uniform personnel, I work directly with the government.
2. I was released officially for the program which is directly related to my present work and my office gave a letter of introduction.
3. It's the duty of our protocol office to ensure they get the note verbal on my behalf, this is a routine process for all officers.

I have to wait for over a week to get this document despite already being late for submission which is why I was concerned about the timing.
As per the application packaging, it is tight as humanly possible but I'm relying on God who has the ultimate authority.

I seriously doubt if a VO would attach much importance to the note verbal.....it's a diplomatic communication prepared in the third person and unsigned. It's more relevant for institutional purpose or inter governmental agencies or relations.

If you submit an airtight application you don't need such document.....besides it is advisable to keep your application simple. Submiting a note verbal will only make a VO more curious about why you included a note verbal in your application. Or does it really serve a purpose in your application? You're applying for a study permit right? If so a VO won't see any need to expedite your application in anyway or manner. Especially since you're not going for an assignment for the federal government.

A letter of introduction from the ministry suffices.

Please and please do not arouse the curiosity of the VO attending to your application.

My 2cent

Thanks for your reply.
Note verbal was prepared on my behalf and it was signed by an official from foreign affairs, since I am a uniform officer, though I'm going for an academic program, it's usually treated as an assignment since I was officially cleared for it and I'm coming back to my job.
There was nothing curious in my application to attract the attention of the VO, I reason that each country's high commission usually have diplomatic relationship and should respect such letters from each other.
I haven't seen such since I joined this forum so I said I should clarify what I was told. I'm more concerned about my submission time which is close to date of resumption.

Hi guys, I want to find out the importance of having note verbal from the ministry of foreign affairs for Canada student visa application.
The government organization I work for gave me an introduction letter stating that I've been given a study leave for the duration of the program, they also processed the so called note verbal on my behalf.
The protocol department told me it'll expedite the process, I just want to find if it's true. Thanks in advance for your reply house.

To read some people's comments blaming the OP is so disgusting, many people blamed the guy who just suffered a loss which shows that an average Nigerian is heartless. For you to blame him means you will dupe your fellow brothers if you have the opportunity. I also noticed that it is dangerous to do business with Ibo person in Nigeria because they must always look for ways to dupe you, other tribes do it too but the risk is higher with Ibos. Before Ibos start to run their mouth, take this as a constructive criticism and strive towards changing for the better because nobody has benefitted on the long run from having terrible reputation and integrity.

Hi house,
I'll like to find out how I can pay my tuition at the CBN rate without form A. I've applied for form A for a month now at GTB but my account officer keep saying there's no Canadian dollar and time is going. I need to pay so I can get my unconditional letter of admission which I want to use to apply for Visa. Please help, time is going and I can't afford parallel market rate.

Since 10th of march in Calabar, making it over four months now, Ecobank has refused to revert 20k debited me by their ATM machine despite the fact that the account debited is with them and prompt reporting of the incidence. I've spent close to that amount making phone calls, going to the branch every now and then and even mailing the head office in Lagos to no avail. I need my money, can anyone advice me on what to please.
