even if you renew her passport before you submit it, as long as her visa has been approved on the old passport,: the visa duration she will be granted will be the length of validity on the passport number she used to initiate her application whose visa was approved. Say for instances the passport she used to apply will expire in 8mths time and along the line her visa got approved via online application and she now quickly renewed her passport before she sends her passport on request with the hope of having a longer passort duration in order to get a longer year visa validity; too bad applicants will only be granted 8mths visa validity based on the length of the passport whose passport number was used to initiate the application.

I applied for my mum online in September and the Visa was approved yesterday. I want to renew her passport,
will I need to raise a cse about the new passport?

Are you checking from VFS? That won't work (if it's online application), till her passport gets to them. Check from your GCkey login side and monitor the application there.

I was given tracking number to track my mum's temporary visa application but each time i check, it says no records found. submitted 3rd September,2018.

Is anyone experiencing sometjing similar?

I was so sure I was going to get PR in Nov/Dec.I almost resigned sef. When I checked Immi-tracker or watsapp groups, every other october except oct 13th seemed to have gotten pr. After a while, I stopped reading posts on Nairaland and other forums, as I can not coman kee mysef. lol.

I got a mail from WES Canada on the 31st of Jan 2018, I was told my status is on hold as they require verification of transcripts and certificate from UNILAG. I met with Somone at Unilag and was told last week that they didn't get any email or letter sent by post requesting for verification. I sent a mail to WES through their link informing them about Unilag not getting any mail and they should please resend, I got a this reply on the 5th of March 2018:

We will send you an update by email each time a new document is received and reviewed. Once we have received and accepted all the documents required, we will complete your evaluation.

I still spoke to Somone in Unilag today. They have not seen any mail from them. Please advice. Thank you.
