I can give you two simple tricks to stonewall those guys until you have their money even if you are owing them:

1. Just go the app managment settings of your phone, click on the particular loan app, scroll down to permissions, and revoke their permissions to access your contact, SMS, location, and call settings.

2. Go the app managment settings of your phone, click on Whatsapp app, scroll down to permission, revoke Whatsapp permission to access your contact. This will prevent your whatsapp from showing the names of your stored individual contacts, but your Whatsapp groups will continue to display their names.

Once you do these, you will see how all the threats of those guys will stop and they will be begging you to pay their money.

Politics / Re: I Was The First Governor In Nigeria To Approach UN On Urban Renewal — Peter Obi by SeyeMan(m): 3:02pm On Oct 24, 2022
LegendHero:
Lol. Mugun, where is the master plan and why did he not follow through with it to make Anambra the best state with the best urban layout?

In 2009, this scammer called Peter Obi claimed Anambra is on the road to Dubai with the UN-Habitat program but as it stand today, Anambra can’t even lace the shoes of a local government in Lagos.

You be goat for deliberately twisting the info. Peter Oni said he was the first Nigerian governor to partner with UN Habitat, which was in 2009. Here you are raising a report of Kogi State in 2014.
By the way, UN-Habitat always cooperate with states right from time, it is not something to brag about. Kogi and other states keyed into their program. They even once claimed they will transform all Nigeria cities but all na audio.

Peter Obi do not even rate Nigerians at all with the nonsense he regurgitates everytime.

UN-Habitat themselves always go to African cities because they have programs line up. Below is their comprehensive report in 2014 for African cities.

Since it's the game of tribalism Yaribaas want to play during this election, we will show them that we are the kings of that game as well. There's no level of spurious and ridiculous lies these animals haven't cooked up against Obi just to demarket him now that the once structure-less man is now the most talked about aspirant, why not challenge the man's competence with intelligent arguments like sane people do, instead of resorting to dirty tribalism to dent his image? I can't wait for February to come already, the payback will be decisive and vicious .

You must be very intelligent from the rear. So you PO doesn't need Yoruba votes to win. In case you don't know, it's Tinubu camp that are trying to gaslight Yorubas who don't support their person. Dont make for enemies for your candidate. It is this attitude of people that is making many Yorubas to be wary of voting PO. me as a person know how much I've had to be canvassing for my people to look beyond the craziness of people like you and vote PO. How many be tye whole of South East vote. Election is a game of numbers so wise up. I would think you are a BATist sent to cause needless enemity.

Politics / Re: Atiku Names Udom DG Of Campaign Council by SeyeMan(m): 7:52am On Sep 16, 2022
This is fake news that was planted by Atiku e-rats to confuse people. The real news is that Udom is merely Chairman of the presidential campaign council, while Tambuwal is the Director General. The Chairman lacks executive powers, and so a merely ceremonial position. The real powers of the lies with the Director General of the Campaign Council.

https://punchng.com/tambuwal-emerges-dg-for-pdp-presidential-campaign-council/

Atiku will be Buhari version 2.0 in even more provocation of the South. He is yet to win, but he has already ceded the most powerful posts to the North with Party Chair and PDP Campaign DG coming from the North.

With the appointment of Tambuwal as PDP Campaign, Atiku is already posturing Tambuwal as his successor because Tambuwal relinquished his aspirations to support Atiku's at the PDP Primaries. Atiku must really think PDP members in the South are stupid people who are only fit for ceremonial offices by giving them offices like BOT Chair and Campaign Chairman, which offices lack executive powers.

To all ye people of the South, saying that it doesn't matter where the President comes from, you will learn your lessons for the next eight years of Atiku, after all that Buhari has done to promote Northern interests at the expense of national cohesion.

The man clearly has an agenda to pit provoke Northerners against South Easterners Obi in the person of Peter Obi. I, for one, don't give a hoot abt the greedy fellow who calls himself table shaker. Nevertheless, fanning the fires of hatred is one thing that we don't need coz the country is so tensed and people are already hungry and angry. Truth, but unfortunately the obidient children will not agree.
Voting is controlled by the LGA/ward stakeholders under the directive of the state leaderships.

That's why a party that will a polling unit is predicted due to the party of affiliation of the stakeholder there.

So what happens if the people at the polling unit vote for a different party other than that of the local stakeholders. The only thing that can prevent that is if local stakeholders will compel people to vote for their party or prevent them from voting altogether.

You got it all wrong dear.

what make these people popular is:

Tinubu : This one is popular because of his mouth odour and brown teeth, he's known to be urinating on his agbada, he's known to be imposing governors to Lagosians, he's known to be suffering from essential tremor, he's popular for being a drug baron, he's an unapologetic looter. Tinubu is popular for wrong reasons.

Atiku: This one is a thief and a looter, he's not even a Nigerian, rumour once had it that he's a Cameroonian.

Osibanjo: This one is popular for being so weak and clueless and reducing himself to a position of a mere commissioner and also, he's known to be Buhari house boy despite his strides in educational world.

Amaechi: This one is known to have betrayed the whole south south and lick the asses of Fulanis so he will be given a ministerial appointment by clueless Buhari and he succeeded.

Peter Obi: This noble young man is popular because he's widely loved by majority of Nigerians. The love and passion exuded by Peter Obi to serve and work assiduously to put Nigeria back on track is what endeared him to alot of people. God bless him.

Let's see how far your ascribed fake love of Peter Obi will carry him at the elections. All others get comma except Saint Obi. No worries, premium tears loading. Illusionist

Politics / Mamman Daura's Myopic Political Dance With Goodluck Jonathan. by SeyeMan(m): 7:31am On May 27, 2022
It is no child's play that super politicians like heavyweight APC Presidential Aspirants like Asiwaju Bola Tinubu have been able to stay locked in the power play on the national scene for decades. Their staying power is certainly not for a lack of effort by their enemies to displace them, just like President Obasanjo tried his possible best to whittle down the political tentacles of Asiwaju, but for their political dexterity.

Prior to President Buhari's emergence as the winner of the Presidential elections in 2015, members of the Buhari cabal led by Mamman Daura and his lieutenants like Abubakar Malami,SAN were unheard of in the Nigerian political space. Therefore, regardless of how much influence they are wielding under the Buhari government as heavyweights, one might be wont to expect them to unwittingly betray their naivety in the political chess game.

There have been rumours of President Jonathan being drafted into the APC and a bid to ensure that he emerges as the Consensus candidate of the party. It would even seem that the issue had been finally put to rest when it was reported that President Jonathan didn't submit the forms that were procured for him before the APC deadline for the submission of forms closed. However, the recent pictures of Mamman Daura visiting President Goodluck Jonathan followed by the shifting of the APC screening exercise of the party's presidential hopefuls lends further credence to the belief that Buhari cabal are trying to impose Jonathan on the APC.

Against this background, this article sets out to show that the Almighty Buhari Cabal are nothing but political neophytes to think they can control President Jonathan if he indeed emerges as the APC Presidential flagbearer and wins the 2023 elections. While the popular history of President Jonathan is that he is a gentle dove of a politician; however, a more closer look will also that he was a ruthless politician when he needed to consolidate his hold on power after the National Assembly empowered him to become Nigeria's Acting President in a vote on February 9, 2010.

Prior to his emergence as Acting President, Jonathan was the laughing stock for being a feeble minded Vice President who was so maltreated by the Cabal that held the reins of the government of the Late President Umar Musa Yar'Adua that he couldn't even see his ailing boss or know his whereabouts. However, barely a month after Goodluck Jonathan Nigeria's acting president, the Yard A'dua cabal, led by Abba Sayyadi Ruma, the Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources appointed by President Umaru Yar'Adua on 26 July 2007 were taken out in one full swoop when Acting President Goodluck Jonathan dissolved his cabinet on March 17, 2010. In a 2010 article written by UK Guardian, David Smith wrote

'Nigeria's acting president, Goodluck Jonathan, last night sacked all cabinet ministers in an attempt to stamp his authority on Africa's most populous country. Jonathan dissolved the cabinet without explanation in his first major act since assuming executive powers just over a month ago. It effectively left the quiet 52-year-old biologist in sole command of government. The cabinet had consisted mainly of ministers loyal to the ailing president, Umaru Yar'Adua ...'

As a 400 level law student at the Obafrmi Awowolo University in the year 2010, I vividly recall that I disliked Goodluck Jonathan for being a toothless Vice President that couldn't provide any guidance for the country during the dark days of Nigeria's missing President as Nigerians were kept in the dark by the Yar'Adua Cabal about the fate of their President. I also recall that when Jonathan sacked entire cabinet of his late predecessor, I came to better appreciate Jonathan as a very deadly politician who properly bid his time in removing his staunchest political adevarsaries, having earlier pretended to be a weakling of a politician in order to attain the office of the Acting President.

Now coming back to simpletons called the Buhari cabal, I wonder how they can believe that Goodluck Jonathan will continue to be the gentle dove that handed over power to President Buhari in 2015. The truth is that the country was at a knife's edge and President Jonathan conducted himself in a most dignifying manner and wrote his name in gold. However, the harassment and embarrassment, witch-hunting that was meted out to Jonathan's men like Sambo Dasuki, Olisa Metuh was terrible, to say the least, even if their alleged offence was corrupt enrichment. If Mamman Daura and his goons are able to successfully return Goodluck Jonathan to power in 2023, I expect people that are close to Goodluck Jonathan such as his wife, Patience Jonathan would have learnt one or two lessons from Aisha Buhari's repeated lamentations about the activities of the cabal around her husband that they would be alive to better protect Jonathan from the cabal that effectively stifled the Buhari administration.

The Buhari cabal should face the sad reality that no matter how hard they try, they can never remain relevant in Nigeria's political space beyond their eight year reign under President Buhari which ends in 2023. Anyone that they support his emergence as the APC Presidential Flagbearer will source for his own trusted hands, rather than have to deal with them as people of the most-inner circle.

I believe that the only candidate that can even try to consider them is Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, maybe not much as President Buhari has deferred to them, but out of respect for the current President whom he has served with for the last 8 years. I believe that going by Goodluck Jonathan's swiftness in getting rid of the Yar'Adau Cabal within one month of becoming Acting President, the fate of the Buhari cabal will be swiftly decided in not more than a week by Goodluck Jonathan, if they allow their political naivety to becloud their sense of reasoning. In any event, it is only a matter of time before Nigerians will begin to hear less and less about Mamman Daura and his accolytes at the corridors of power in Aso Rock, just the way it was before 2015.

No single Nigerian dead or living has been so fortunate to have a political cum economic rein like Tinubu in Nigeria's History, not even Awolowo. Awolowo politico-economic leadership lasted from 1951 to 1971(20 years) before his resignation. In these 20 years, 2 feats characterized Awo's leadership namely Human Capital Development and Infrastructural Capital Development. Awolowo churned out Professors, Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Accountants, Diplomats, Technicians, Artisans etc. He also developed state of the art infrastructure that were of the best standards anywhere in the world during that era. The 1st TV station in Africa. The tallest building in Africa then, the Cocoa House, Liberty Stadium, good healthcare infrastructure, good roads, some of the best schools in the world etc. Can the same legacy be attributed to Tinubu in his 23 years and counting of ruling Lagos? What are the states of health, education, transportation infrastructure in Lagos in the last 23 years? All I see are homes perennially ravaged by floods every raining season even in the most high end areas of the state. Lack of 21st century standard roads, dilapidated road.

Politics / Re: Reasons Tinubu Will Floor Osinbajo At APC Presidential Primary by SeyeMan(m): 7:25pm On Apr 15, 2022
PassingShot:
I read a NL thread https://www.nairaland.com/7077990/why-tinubu-lose-osinbajo-apc#up suggesting reasons why PYO will defeat BAT in the APC primary election to select who flies the ticket of the party in 2023 and I could not help but to laugh at the naivety and desperation of the writer. Well, without paying any attention to the weak and unfounded reasons he presented in his article, I make bold to advance the following arguments to conclude that Jagaban Borgu remains the only candidate who will win the primary contest, barring any last-minute jettisoning of primaries for consensus which is not even contained in the constitution of APC.

1. Tinubu’s political structure and machineries
Even, his political foes will attest to the fact that BAT has built a well-oiled political structure that has not only survived the best of political warriors in OBJ and GEJ (with federal might), his structure has endured the worst of political earthquake and has remained very solid and functioning. In the primary contest for the presidential candidate which will be decided by delegates from APC across the 36 states, Tinubu structure will come in hand to deliver the goods.

2. BAT’s political alliance
This is somewhat related to the first point but not entirely the same. In the course of single-handedly building and strengthening his political base (ACN), Tinubu it was who took ACN into alliance with CPC, ANPP, a faction of APGA and a faction of PDP. In fact, most political watchers agreed that the 2 most important figures in that successful alliance that produced APC are Buhari and Tinubu. The rest were only needed to make up the numbers and the spread. BAT has since that alliance built a working relationship with strong politicians in the north. The likes of Ganduje, Ribadu, Ado Dogawa, Ahmed Lawan, etc. are staunch Tinubu’s supporters who will deliver the delegates from that side of the country.

3. Neutrality of PMB
PMB remains a political juggernaut whose support and influence can, to some extent determine who wins the APC ticket. From what I have read and heard, it was this support that Osinbajo was looking for that delayed his declaration. Unfortunately for him, PMB did not assure him of anything, instead preferring to be neutral and asking all the contestants to work hard to win the ticket. While it is possible for PMB to have a preference for PYO (highly doubtful), Buhari has demonstrated many times that he handles situations like this with utmost maturity and fairness to all involved. If he has forgotten how BAT deployed his resources to make him defeat Atiku and Kwankwaso in 2014 and to win the presidency in 2015 and 2019, he will surely be reminded by his close allies like Ganduje and the Senate President of this fact. And Buhari will choose to remain neutral. It is PYO who needs PMB so much and not the other way round.

4. Clear message of endorsement by the APC Senate and Rep Caucuses
Not many watchers of political development will have missed the enormous support Tinubu enjoys from the APC senators and representatives. They are not hiding it and they have been saying it loud and clear even to the hearing of PYO. You only need to watch the Senate session when BAT paid the APC caucus a visit to intimate them of his ambition. You can also listen to Ado Doguwa’s recent interview on the same subject
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqe6AQllcPA and here https://www.nairaland.com/7079123/doguwa-speaks-bola-tinubus-aspiration. I also read that of the seventy-something invited by PYO for Iftar, only 24 or so honored the invitation with majority of them spotting facemask with BAT logo. These speak volume about their position. They are the people that matter in this election and they are not politicians you can intimidate to change their mind. They believe in BAT and they are ready to reward his past support for them too.

5. Osinbajo has no political structure
After seven years of being the VP of Nigeria, it is a fact that PYO has no political base or structure of note with which he can be guaranteed of delegates votes. This is someone who lost his polling booth in the last general election. Irrespective of whatever sentiment anyone in the party top hierarchy may want to have for a PYO candidacy, they will realize what a dangerous option his candidacy represents for their party and they will bury the thought without wasting time.

6. Perception of PYO as someone who cannot be trusted
Like it or not, Osinbajo’s declaration has portrayed him as someone who cannot be relied upon. In politics, the currency is loyalty and anyone who is perceived as not loyal is usually avoided by those who matter. Even among those currently propping the professor on, there are those who will be murmuring within their heart that the VP cannot be trusted not to betray them at some point, especially if he becomes president and thus untouchable. I will personally be weary of such character too. Yes, he has the constitutional right to contest but he has thrown morality to the dustbin by standing up to challenge his one-time political mentor. I read a piece about how Tiinubu reluctantly agreed for Osinbajo to be the running mate to PMB out of the three names suggested to him. The fact that BAT’s choice was still going to be picked and that he eventually agreed to PYO being named as the running mate is enough for our erstwhile star boy to abandon his ambition for BAT’s.

Anyway, let’s see how far the support of sycophants and traducers of Tinubu can carry him in his quest to wrestle APC’s ticket from Jagaban.

All I see are homes perennially ravaged by floods every raining season even in the most high end areas of the state. Lack of 21st century standard roads, dilapidated road. Below is my own reason why.

All that is undeniably visible is the proliferation of touts/agberos despite being the richest black man city to have ever existed.

That one is a dangerous hypocrite, bare faced liar, betrayer without conscience, fake pastor and failed economist.

Someone that shows his bigotry even to his own religion of practice. Imagine having about 65 Christians appointed and 63 of them are from your church denomination and sect

No be juju be dat?

I won't even pretend because I'm a Christian, but you see this yemi oshigbanjo ehhn, the guy would be even more terrible than the mannequin in aso rock.

Besides, what is he coming to achieve as president? Thesame useless mere commissioner that is part and parcel of this failed administration?.

Peter Obi or Ameachi for president

That mere Commissioner as he was is now the holder of the second highest office in the land. If only you can even attain the level of a commissioner, you would have attained the achievements that your family will be proud and even earn you the highest Chieftaincy title in your village.

This is a very poor and useless campaign strategy by Osinbajo's media team

What Nigeria need is a credible leader that can stand for his people

One who shows he is compassionate to the condition and plights of it's citizens bad would do all within his capability to deliver good governance

Yemi Osinbajo failed in all these aspects and came to tell us that he wants to continue from where Buhari started

We all know that what Buhari started is misery and disaster

He is not a man of his words

Sir, people are launching ceaseless media attacks against the VP, it's not time for his campaign team to be quiet like you want them to, but to provide reasonable answers to the false news about the VP.

Anti US in what way? Did he burn American flag? Did he ordered US diplomats out of Caracas? Did he refused to sell her oil to the US ? Did he attack any US base or mainland ?

How is he anti US?

And if Maduro is anti US, all the sanction they placed on Venezuela, was it on maduro alone or whole of Venezuela. If a nation cannot make her own decision without fear of a certain bully placing sanctions, then where is the sovereignty. Why would a powerful nation hide behind a weak one and charge her against another powerful one till it leads to war? What benefit will Ukraine in NATO bring to NATO and the US other than spite Russia and move US military base to Russian borders?

The point is, no country should have that sweeping power to place sanctions on the other nation for any reason. That role should be that of the UN alone.

Russia/USSR and US had been anti each other since 1945, their case isn't new.

US is placing sanctions on Russia for her war in Ukraine, who placed sanctions on her over Libya,( the after effect is still affecting West Africa with Terror groups gallivanting across the Sahara ), who placed sanction on her over her ambugious wars in Iraq, who placed sanctions on her over Vietnam, Panama, Afghanistan, etc

America is morally in no justified place to place sanctions on Russia, whatever the crimes we are accusing Russia of at the moment, US had done ten times more and never got a slap not to talk of sanctions for it

This is the best comment on this thread. The truth is that the massive security challenges that is facing several African countries is a result of the US invading Libya. This created unprecedented access to arms and ammunition for non-state actors. The US invasion of any country has never brought about any good like they claim, but only destabilization of countries and regions.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/01/2023-how-team-osinbajo-is-breaking-boundaries-2/amp/

y Emmanuel Aziken & Omeiza Ajayi Team Osinbajo, working for the actualization of a Prof Yemi Osinbajo presidency in 2023 is already breaking boundaries across the country with reports of shadowy link-ups between his canvassers and a section of the famed cabal around President Muhammadu Buhari. This is just as his team has vowed to defeat moneybags at the All Progressives Congress, APC, convention. While Vice-president Osinbajo has come out to deny immediate plans of his aspiration for the APC 2023 presidential ticket, his canvassers are increasingly coming out to assert their objectives boldly. The moves by the vice-president’s perceived minders are despite continuing claims that a section of the cabal and chief personal aides of the president remain spiteful of him. The personal aides, it was gathered, are yet to forgive Osinbajo for actions taken as Acting President in 2018 including the dismissal of Lawal Daura as Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS. Saturday Vanguard learnt that Team Osinabjo has notwithstanding, been increasingly mending fences with the Northern establishment through some northern leaders who have been acting as emissaries for the 2023 project. A highly inuential northern politician whose wife recently left a very high position in the federal judiciary is said to be Camp Osinbajo’s liaison with the Northern establishment.

ou can see the kind of endorsements that have been coming the way of the vice-president from the North and groups visiting selected leaders to get expected endorsements,” one source privy to the development opined. There were suggestions that the carriage of Team Osinbajo was what panicked his political godfather, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to preempt him by making his declaration of his life ambition to be president on Monday. Meanwhile, as Tinubu rushed to Abuja to position himself, the Osinbajo canvassers about the same time moved south for the rst time with their bold incursion into Delta State, a territory that had until recently been regarded as Tinubu’s territory by APC activists. The efforts of the vice-president’s canvassers were manifested by his endorsement by Rep. Francis Waive, the only APC member of the House of Representatives from Delta State. Saturday Vanguard reports that the endorsement has sent shock waves into the political landscape in Delta and Abuja given earlier permutations that Delta was Tinubu’s territory by proxy through the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege. The development in Delta according to multiple sources has sent confusion on the inclination of Omo-Agege. Before now, the only threat to Tinubu in Delta had come from insinuations of a possible presidential bid by Rotimi Amaechi, the minister of transportation. Amaechi’s foot soldiers led by Festus Keyamo have ceaselessly tackled the Omo-Agege tendency. While some were quick to point to Hon. Waive’s endorsement of Osinbajo as a reection of the shift of the Omo-Agege camp away from Tinubu, other sources and associates of the Deputy President of the Senate claimed that Waive acted in his personal capacity.

However, some in Delta State and Abuja saw the endorsement as a product of the alleged behind-the-scene collaboration between Abubakar Malami, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice and Team Osinbajo. Sources afrm that Omo-Agege and Malami who are both lawyers are also said to be friends. A text message to Senator Omo-Agege on the development did not receive a response as at press time yesterday. Saturday Vanguard has been unable to conrm insinuations of a possible working relationship between Osinbajo and the Malami group of power brokers who are said to dictate the policies and politics of the Buhari administration. While some said it is possible with the prospect of Malami running as a Vice presidential candidate to Osinbajo, other sources watching the development ruled it out saying that Osinbajo has not been forgiven for ring Daura as DG DSS in 2018. “Yes, for the best interest of the country and the party, Osinbajo would have been an unbeatable asset to the APC, but I know that within the inner circle of number one, (President Buhari) he is hated with venom,” one APC top source privy to the developments spoke yesterday. “The question you should ask is, can he be trusted? It is a matter of trust for the president. I repeat, it is a matter of trust”, the source said As another source said yesterday, Osinbajo lacks political structure and the only way he can achieve it is either through Buhari or through Tinubu. However, just like Buhari, the inner camp of the national leader of the APC is also increasingly disdainful of the vice-president with some labelling him a betrayer.

Meanwhile, moves by his northern backers to beautify and build him up to have continued with the announcement on Thursday that Osinbajo would be the special guest of honour at the 8th Sir Ahmadu Bello lecture in Kano on January 28.
The gathering, pundits observe, would offer the Northern intelligentsia, royal fathers and other elements of the Northern establishment chance to have a closer perception of Osinbajo. We’ll defeat moneybags at APC convention — Osinbajo group vows Meanwhile, The Progressive Project TPP, an umbrella body of the groups working for the vice president has vowed to put in place strategies that will enable its candidate to defeat established political moneybags at the presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress APC and in the general election. This was less than 48 hours after hosting a nationwide coalition of 57 youth and students’ groups who had pledged to work for the vice president. The group on Wednesday also hosted representatives of about 500 support groups from all parts of Nigeria in what it said was part of efforts “to begin mapping out strategies towards beating moneybags’ inuence at the forthcoming All Progressives Congress APC presidential primaries”.

At the TPP ofce in Abuja on Wednesday, former, serving and prospective candidates for councillorship, chairmanship, state and federal legislative positions with few former and serving state commissioners exchanged views on how to achieve effective grassroots impact by selling the good qualities of Vice President Osinbajo as being of greater signicance than the offer of monetary gifts. Head of TPP’s Situation Room, Mr Jeffrey Omoh who addressed representatives of the support group drawn from the nation’s six geo-political zones emphasized that their strategy shall emphasize “mobilization of delegates’ patriotism, not mobilization of Naira”. He urged attendees to “go home, study their environment more, improve their interactions with people and return with suggestions and ideas that TPP and its constituent teams can work with”. “We thank all members of the approximately 500 support groups who are already identifying with us, with a rm commitment towards mobilizing Nigerians towards achieving an Osinbajo Presidency in 2023,” he said. One of the speakers at the event, Dr Mustapha M. Jibril who is the Commissioner for Investments, Commerce and Industry in Niger state told the gathering that the loyalty demonstrated to President Muhammadu Buhari, disciplined focus and other good qualities of Professor Yemi Osinbajo drew attendees from various parts of the federation together to pursue a common cause. Speaking in a similar vein at the rst interactive meeting of pro-Osinbajo groups, Mr Ibrahim Mohammed, a member of the support group who drew attention to his family’s Kano origin stated that his family members have lived in Ibadan, Oyo state over the past 150 years, adding that “2023 election is not really going to be about zoning but about the prospects of unity, sustainable progress and development across all parts of the federation. He said, “Our efforts here and the motivation for supporting Osinbajo is not about whether political power goes north or south; it is about consolidating on what has been achieved in the past towards throttling into a better future for all under a trustworthy and very capable leadership that would not need to offer bribes to party delegates before its emergence,” he stated. Speaking in the same vein, Mr Precious Elekia who led the Cross River State Coalition for Osinbajo 2003 group said; “it is time to vote for Nigeria and not a time to vote for Hausa, Igbo or Yoruba,” adding that “Professor Yemi Osinbajo is a viable and sellable candidate that appeals to all dimensions of national interest”. Among recommendations proffered by representatives of various proOsinbajo support groups were the implementation of mobilization efforts across various wards in 774 local government councils, focus on reaching prospective delegates to the APC national convention and creation of state coordination teams across the federation.
