Aniekpeno11: Fellow Nairalanders I greet you all. First and foremost, let me state that I am a job seeking graduate who graduated in 2012 and like others applied for the N-Power Programme. I want to also state that I understand fully well the challenges faced by unemployed graduates as I am one myself. That being said, I want to draw our attention to the mindset of most people applying for the N-Power Programme. A lot of people are joining the Programme not to work but to make "free money".Some people hope that after being successful they can maneuver their way around the Programme and be collecting the stipends to be paid without doing any work. Please fellow Nigerians, this is very corrupt and quite frankly, a proof of the trouble awaiting us in future, I mean if the future leaders are already looking for ways to take advantage of the system what bright future is there to hope for? Please, I appeal to those of us planning to do such to put the future of the Country at heart and reconsider, if you don't care about Nigeria at least fear God. Thank you I stand with you. What ever is worth doing, is worth doing well. We youths these days are desperados , we have to do our best to change things for better in the little office we manage, God bless you. God bless Nigeria. |

Emmyloaded2: The second batch NPower registration has some slight adjustments from the first and these include.
1. BVN will be auto searched by site before proceeding to the next phase. If BVN exists then one is cleared to proceed. this development is not unconnected with series of problems faced with unmatched, incorrect BVN in the first batch registration.
2. The second phase registration is more of an interactive interphase. Applicants dont just upload data and go, the test which erstwhile was written seperately at a slated date will be written immediately by applicants to complete their registration.
NOTE: Based on the few points above, i'd like to reiterate that prospective applicants should be fully involved and be physically present in the process of registration...to proofread their info and write their test.
The issuance of forms in this phase will not be possible for obvious reasons, so i urge all to take this phase serious and get
How To Create Account On N-Power Portal, Verify BVN & Upload Data

2. Click through the various programmes and choose the one that suites you and then click on apply at the bottom of the page
3. Carefully fill the application form and make sure to provide accurate information and documents to support your application.
4. After submitting, you will receive an acknowledgement email letter confirming the receipt of the application.
5. After 48hours you will be notified by email and the registration portal whether you are eligible for the N-Power program, if you are unsuccessful you may apply again in subsequent programs.
6. If you are successful you can proceed to the test page at the MY N-POWER PORTAL, you will be required to write two tests; a general skills test and program specific test.
7. Depending on your program there may be a final interview before acceptance into the N-Power program, otherwise you will receive an email confirming your provisional acceptance into the N-Power program.
8. You will have to confirm your acceptance to secure your place.
9. Specific information and program details will now be sent to your email.
10. If at any point you encounter a challenge in filling your form you can send an email to info@npower.gov.ng.

This is a nice info, but I will say first that there is no account creation (I mean no username and password created). Secondly the first stage of registration is BVN verification and immediately after that, you will be taken to "choose program" directly where you will fill in your information, education, skill, address etc... There is no room for upload. Onlu reference code was given. I didn't see any place for username and password created. So I feel mail will be sent to continue but till now am yet to receive mail. Neither can you proceed to the next phase as there is no means to do that. I don't know if anyone is experiencing the same thing with me. I registered yesterday evening. |

Shame on the Federal Government and shame to the NPF. So it means it's not worth serving the country? if this happens in US, the officer will be given a national honour even in death to the family for dying on operation. I have watched where a K-9 Dog in the US police was shot with injuries, after treating the dog, the dog was given a medal of honour alongside with other officers on the scene of the operation, But my country Nigeria can't even honour a human! ajisolasheu: N-Power Job Application Portal reopens May 29,2017 | Application Requirements and How to Apply
Federal Government will reopen its youth empowerment job application portal at portal.npower.gov.ng on June 13,2017, Minister of Labour and Employment Dr. Chris Ngige said on Thursday.
He made the declaration at press conference on the issue of minimum wage for Nigeria Labour Congress.
Currently, the N-Power scheme, one of the four cardinal programmes of Social Investment Programme, SIP, is engaging 200,000 Nigerian youths in the areas of N-Agro, N-Health, and N-Teach.
N-Power is said to have gulped billions of naira since it started making payment December 2016.
N-power's first phase of applications commenced last year, when 200,000 applicants were shortlisted.
The government called the first set of shortlisted beneficiaries "first batch" saying more 300,000 names would be released.
The online assessment test conducted was characterised by several technical issues of login and submission problems, though.
But with the latest news by the FG, it is obviously clear that no second batch list should be expected by those who wrote the first test, but were not shorlisted.
What does it mean for those who applied in 2016 but were not shortlisted?
With the new announcement by the Labour Minister Ngige, it means records of those who didint make the first batch were no longer valid on the Npower application portal.
It means they are free to reapply again. It means they'll have to start all over again. They should get their papers ready this time and avoid the mistakes they made during the first application process.
Can married women apply?
Definitely! The programme doesnt segregate irrespective of your marital status.
How to avoid mistakes during application process 1. If you've changed your name as a result of marriage, please make sure to it reflects on the certificates you'll be using for application.
2. If you've not done change of name, then use the name as it appears in your papers and in your bank account.
3. Apply by yourself, don't give out your name to cyber cafe person to apply on your behalf.
Cafe attendants are fond of making mistakes when they aren't supervised. If cafe attendant must do it for you, be there to correct whatever mistakes he'll be making.
4. Check and cross check why applying before you make submission.
5. One of the most important things is to ensure that your account number is active, and it's linked to your active account number.
6. If you're above 35years you won't be considered.
7. In order to avoid the issue of unmatched name, unmatched bvn, etc make sure you fill the on-line application form as your names appear in your certificates and bank account number.
You could face issue of unmatched name if all your papers, and ID bear Azeez Adekola, but you go ahead to fill Abdulazeez Adekola while filling Npower application form. If your name is Kola, let it be if that's how it appears in your documents, dont go fill Adekolapo during application.
We have found out that more than 70% of the current beneficiaries who are faced with one issue or other are those who use names that are slightly different in spelling, yet the same meaning and interpretation. Avoid it. please is it true that BVN number is required for the registration? |

IHEJIRIKAisBOKO: When it comes to religious tolerance give it to the Yoruba's. It is only in Yorubaland that you will find a Church, a Mosque, and a Shrine in the same street. I stand to be corrected, but you cannot find such anywhere else in Nigeria. It is only in a Yoruba family that you will find memebers of different faith living peacefully together. Others should emulate the Yoruba's in the area of respect and peaceful coexistence

Vasaratti16: Metal Gear Solid There is no game I have played in which whose plot is so brilliantly and intricately developed. A series of plot twists, revelations, and just a general high quality of script writing, this is one amazing game. My all time favorite Never before have I been so emotionally attached to a video game character than with just about every character in the cast of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. I grew up with this game, even from a very young age I was always desperate to watch my older sister play the first MGS. I remember the final scene of MGS4 vividly, and how it literally caused me to tear up. It's a deep and powerful storyline. One that should go down history as the best of all time. Keep it number one on this list, heh. Metal Gear Solid will always remain the best and most emotional story ever, it just has a sense to it that is absolutely amazing. Never have I cared so much about characters like; Big Boss, Revolver Ocelot, The Boss, and so on. My best. I finished it on PS 1, so nice story, yet to finish the others. Learnt lots of guns lol... |

naturefellow: thanks for noting this. There are actually many controversies surrounding his death, that I wonder why NYSC would take sole responsibility for it. Why wasn't the case transferred to the state coordinator as directed by the Director? Or does he want Kazaure to come all the way to Kebbi from Abj to attend to his friend?... As some people would want of Jesus, and thereafter blame him for their losses or misfortunes. Why didn't he apply for redeployment on grounds of health challenges since it is apparent he has been anaemic long before NYSC? It's always very easy to blame others- institutions and government, even when it's glaring thar we're at fault!!! just similar to my post. his death seem controversial to me. it seem he died after service year. That's the reason I can't judge. Truly we have to know issues before condemning. |
NYSC › Re: Corper Serving In Kebbi Dies Of Anaemia (Photos) by Shaev7(m): 3:25pm On Jun 08, 2017 |
IgboticGirl: BUT seriously didn't he fill his form well
because there position for health challenge people
because if u have a health challenge like dat u are not allowed to serve outside ur state Truly you are right! I sensed something there on the ID card. that card doesn't look like NYSC ID card. because I saw 2016 year of service of which there are no 2016 year serving Corp members. So this could... If this happened during his 2016/2017 service year and from the letter I saw from the hospital to NYSC for financial support, I am very disappointed at NYSC and the federal government as I their sole responsibility to take care of serving Corps members even if it's headache rather than saying that after medications, write to NYSC for refunds of Finance spent. That's bad! And to me if all this can't be met and reviewed by federal Government and NYSC, then it should be scrapped as no proper care for Corps members. Is this how armies are treated, No! So why are Corps members treated like this? Too bad for this country, it's my view, as I can't really ascertain the death of the boy cos the news to me seem contradicting due to year of service (2016) and now wrt to the letter. May the demised hero and past heroes rest in peace. Amen. "NATIONAL SALUTE. " |
