nairamaniac:Your education, that's if you supposedly have any,is simply a waste if you can make unfounded statements like this. It's because of idiots like you that one may be forced to support this new social media bill. |
M0GIDI:Mumu,why can't you meet Vanguard or any of your pro-PDP media outfits to dig deep just like SR has done, in order to trace the supposed foreign accounts of those duo. Melaye should be left off the hook while openly breaking his oath of office just because corrupt-laden minds like yours assume Buhari and Osibanjo have foreign accounts too..Educated people don't make bogus assumptions. They speak intelligently with facts. |
TijaniAbu:Mr Man stop defending nonsense. I hate people like u that come to the public to try and defend these thieves. Can't you see in the tweet that the said account was opened in Maryland, USA? He can choose to operate from Nigeria if he wants. He doesn't have to be in USA to operate the account. The most important thing is that it's a foreign account and operating it while holding a public office contravenes the provision of the CCB. Dino knows this and would do better to remain silent henceforth. |
charix:Why will u intentionally refuse to register your sim? It's people like u that put Mtn in d mess they're now, trying to pay a needless, hefty fine..lol |
Born and bred in Lagos, visited all states in the SW; currently resident in Ondo state (state of origin) though visit Lagos often as I see it as my source where my parents, all known relatives and siblings are. Asides that,I've visited Edo,Delta,Kogi,Abuja, served in Benue, Plateau, passed through Nassarawa and Kaduna. Outside the shores of Nigeria, I've also lived in London,UK. The only parts of Nigeria I've never been to or passed through are the South East and North East. |
yomalex:I'd advise that you use google to educate yourself on the meaning of the word deviance and the contexts it can be used, ranging from minor to major offences, before you come to the public and try to make a fool of someone better than you in every sense of the word. Deviance simply connotes unacceptable behaviour; which is what the students demonstrated by refusing to vacate the campus premises after being told to do so. That's a violation of the university Senate directive. Defiance can also be used in this context but coming here to say using deviance is wrong is just plain silly. |
kayodekb:You're funny. Do you think the person you're replying is a female?..pls don't allow them scam u oo lol |
SegunAdewole:I never knew Buhari has become a Senator that now propose bills, and that only APC members are in the Senate to pass bills. Common sense is truly not common. Your case is a practical example. |
chiefobdk:If you could please point out where SR lied against him from these tweet exchanges on this thread,I'll be very happy. SR simply said he knew about the bill but didn't make any comment about it,like he always comments on many issues using his twitter handle.. how is that a lie? Are u saying Ben Bruce isn't truly aware of this bill that has passed the first reading on the floor of the Senate when he as a Senator should be there when this bill was being debated on the floor of the Senate; while we ordinary Nigerians already know about the bill? SR never said Ben Bruce helped pass the bill to 2nd reading as he's trying to lie against them but that he was aware of the bill and kept silent about it. |
chukwudi44:Was Oritsejafor a govt official too?.. Since you don't know what business he has being involved, that's d more reason u shouldn't support him blindly but shut up and listen to see how the EFCC which is empowered by the nation's laws to handle cases of financial fraud and recklessness, would expose his connections instead of exposing your ignorance and playing the victim on social media. You guys are just too predictable. |
amtaken:But PDP people said it was Jonathan that brought the idea of TSA and that Buhari shouldn't take credit for it. Why then are u mentioning Buhari's name in connection with the same TSA?..confusion everywhere..lol |
Speechless3:But the country all this while under Goodluck Jonathan loved you, and the love has suddenly faded away since he lost reelection, isn't it? |
HelenBee:That name sounds real familiar..I'm around St. Clara Catholic church area, Rotowa tho..might have bumped into u without knowing..good to know a fellow nairalander is closeby.. u got PM. |
HillaryD:When last did u visit home? |
HelenBee:Are u from Oka too?..not from there but reside there; Iwaro-Oka precisely.. do u visit home at all?lol |
Afam4eva:You want him to fold his hands and watch the party gift his rightful mandate to someone that didn't support his and Audu candidature; by extension the party, even to the point of openly working against the party? |
starG7:But both Faleke and Bello are not Igalas,so how does that concern Tinubu with Igala? |
tonychristopher:You just say things you don't know with confidence instead of seeking knowledge. |
modath:You're not more Yoruba than me,but the Kucha man has no fault here. The Electoral Act which INEC operates with does not make provisions for PVCs but deals with number of registered voters, which in this case in the 91 polling units left is 49k+ while the margin of victory is 41k+..to avoid unnecessary legal cases over disenfranchising the 38k+ people with PVCs who majority of them happen to come from the PDP candidate's LGA, he needed to play safe. But with the decision INEC has taken to proceed with supplementary election, APC would emerge victorious ultimately. Do you think majority of the people (Igala) that voted APC wanted Faleke as governor at all? |
ShowYourCertificate:It's even 49000+ sef, and the margin of victory is 41,000+..I agree with you that the electoral act should be amended to cater for PVC provisions. That being done, this supplementary election issue would have been laid to rest. |
chinchum:While we all know the 25000+ votes can't upturn the victory of APC, doing what you suggest would mean INEC intentionally disenfranchising a whooping 25000+ people of the state. Little as you may see it,but that in itself can throw up unnecessary legal brouhaha for INEC; hence they decided to play safe. However, I'm much inclined to your opinion on a personal basis,as INEC outrightly announcing d winner of last weekend's election would not have caused all these confusion about what the constitution/electoral act says about the death of a candidate before the conclusion of an election. Faleke would have easily become governor in that scenario, but will the Igala people not turn violent on hearing such news, as they feel ruling the state perpetually is their birthright. That's why you see them rooting for the son to replace the father (without recourse to his ability/inability to deliver), instead of elevating Faleke or the closest runner-ups in the primaries, who are all not Igala people. It's a very sick country we're in sadly. |
Nwankwopeter:How does people being deported for overstaying their visa requirements in a foreign land, which may run into years in most cases got to do with a Buhari administration which is barely 6 months old? Pls get an education and don't forget your brain under your armpit before you comment next time. |
Spy360:Oromia and d likes ain't showing but Vision 4 is showing Madrid match. |
Spacetrotter:Which one is AFN..what are they showing? |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Aiit thanks man |
Damolux01:Pls which match is Amos showing tonight? |
TheMascot:There's news all over the cyberspace that Audu Abubakar, reported chiefly by Sahara reporters,is dead. How true is this please? |
Ibime:Pls educate us on what an appropriate CV for a finance minister should look like? There must be PhD and all that..isn't that what you're gonna say?..The Economist that wrote that shameful article on her has never come out to condemn their own equivalent of the finance minister in the UK, George Osborne who has just a first degree only in History and nothing more. We're truly our own worst enemies. |
kernel501:Who do u suggest people could have voted if not Ambode? Your preferred Igbo candidate,Agbaje isn't it? Now you're praising Fashola. Was it not the same Tinubu you're pointing fingers at that gave Fashola a shot a governance too? |
magicminister:Are u for real?..Do u realize Chidinma was an mtn project fame winner..so it's only natural Mtn endorses her as they've been doing for previous winners, ditto Nyanya. It's got nothing to do with Ill Bliss. |
honsule:Since u guys say it works only for weekends, why are they putting 14th Nov as validity period instead of 11.59pm of this past Sunday, 8th Nov..Does it mean it'll expire after Saturday this new week 14th?..Don't get it |
