The issue of maids have also been discussed.
Before i proceed, let me ask if the maid was not taught or didn't learn how to do home chores, then how will she be able to do that?
The truth is that maids are helpers and nothing more. It's bad for a man to employ the services of a maid to start doing what her wife should normally do because she can't do it. That's a problem in itself.
Rather a maid is usually employed to help the wife, maybe because the house chores are becoming too much.
That said, we should remember that the maid also has a life to live and cannot stay with you forever.

Also when you are married, it's expected that kids will come thereafter, so if you give birth to children, the maid will do everything for you, mind you, motherly love and care can't be compare to that of anybody.

Eatery as an alternative was also discussed.
When i saw it, i just laughed, and some questions came to my mind:
1. The family will now turn the eatery to their second home?
2. Can you compare, the nutritional contents and care of what you cook at home, to that of the eatery?
3. If we have visitors. The eatery is now our entertainment room?
4. When i give birth to kids. All they will be eating is food and drinks from the eatery?

The fact still remains that a woman MUST be able to do house chores and willing to learn when married.
The husband should also help her when he's needed and employ a maid ONLY when NECESSARY.

May Allah help us all to make the best of choices.

The Third Issue is The Willingness To learn in Marriage. It's said that no man is an island. Also in marriage, the both spouses learn from each other and develop themselves. The man shouldn't expect the wife to know how to do everything and vice versa. Afterall he/ she is not a robot. The key thing here is willingness to learn.
A woman who tells a man she can't cook or wash, is just telling him categorically that she's not willing to do so. If not, what's it in house chores that's too difficult to learn or to do.
I as a person, will happily teach my wife meals she cannot, if i can, and other things.
But i still maintain my stance and stand to be corrected that a woman who bluntly says she can't do any of these, is either showing how poorly she's been trained at home, or her self disobedient character.

The comments so far have really been enlightening.

The first issue here is that of Compatibility. It's necessary to marry someone who's compatible with you especially in class. E.G: If you are a low/middle class and you go ahead to marry a high class lady you must be willing to adjust to her lifestyle, maybe she's the type that doesn't wash clothes, plates, cook infact everything is done for her at home, you must find a way to satisfy her in that aspect.
That said, the fact still remains that, this's always the isolated cases especially in Nigeria where a larger percentage are in the middle/low class.

The second issue is that of COMPROMISE. The truth is that you can never know all about your spouse before marriage. We are all humans, we try to adjust ourselves at least to get somethings done for ourselves. Marriage is not an exception.
That's why i asked earlier that is't possible for a lady to tell her fiance that she's a dirty type? Even to tell him that she cannot cook? C'mon lets be realistic with ourselves, it's practically impossible especially in our society where most girls are thought to be home keepers from childhood. May be the lady is trying to tell me that she has no proper home training, or she's not an obedient type.

All i can say is that, from what have heard from people and gathered online, it seems the Shell Exam is set by WAEC and they focus on Logical reasoning, Quantitative/Verbal reasoning, current affairs.

What should be of concern to all is the way you're been corrected. That shows the level of maturity, understanding, and intelligence of the person doing such.

There are strong indications that the plot to impeach Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal is not only real but is thickening.
But the Speaker is not sleeping as he has allegedly deployed his foot soldiers to move in to nip the plot in the bud.
The first indication to this was the sudden adjournment of the session on Thursday barely two days after the House resumed from their two-months holidays.
They are billed to resume after October 1 Independence anniversary celebration.
Though the Speaker premised the reason for the adjournment on the fact that members would have time to go on 2013 budget oversight, but sources in the House said, on the contrary, it was a sharp move to create room for manoeuvre and troubleshooting.
Nonetheless, a top member of the House confirmed to LEADERSHIP that, indeed, a handful of members of the House of Representatives, particularly those in the mainstream People's Democratic Party (PDP), are enlisting in droves, while some elements in the opposition said to be disenchanted with the Speaker, are showing interest, but are largely playing hide and sick for now.
As it stands continued a source there is sharp division in the opposition that used to be the power base of the speaker.
It was learnt that some top goons in the Presidency are channelling resources to effect the change through a governor from one of the North Central States.
The governor, it was alleged, begun deploying the funds in dollars and in some other strong foreign currencies since two weeks ago.
The strategy, it was further learnt, was three prong; one is to thwart the Speaker's alleged sympathy for the splinter PDP by making the House ungovernable whenever he attempts to bring their matter to the House, second is to push for outright impeachment after weakening his base, which is the opposition, third is to cause mayhem in the event of anybody introducing any motion near to impeaching President Goodluck Jonathan.
A source said the Speaker's men uncovered the plot to destabilize the House, but failed to factor in the possibility of the new PDP as the immediate springboard to kicks tart the process.
Already, a member of the House who pleaded anonymity disclosed that, indeed, money is flying around, but doubts seriously if the ultimate aim is only to impeach the Speaker.
It was this fear according to a source that made the Minority Whip, Samaila Kawu (APC, Kano) to raise the alarm penultimate week, alleging plot to destabilize the House and cause mayhem using the raging conflict in the ruling PDP.
Meanwhile, the House apparently to maintain its usual cohesiveness denied the plot.
It's spokesman, Zakary Mohammed said the House was not aware of the speculation, but added that it was not disturbed because the power to remove the speaker rests with all members of the House and not just a few lawmakers.
The House he said was not contemplating taking any acts against its leadership because it had no cause to do so.
Notwithstanding, Zakari admitted reports of financial ends cement of members to destabilise the leadership, but insists that the House has no hand in the said plot.

The Abubakar Baraje-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today alleged that the Bamanga Tukur faction is attempting to pursue President Goodluck Jonathan’s ambition of running for the presidency again by bribing members of the House of Representatives with $25,000 each.
In a statement in Abuja, the group advised President Jonathan to call his men to order so that they do not plunge the country into avoidable chaos and in order to avoid portraying his administration as promoting corruption to high heavens.
It said that the advice had become necessary following the uncovering of the plot to bribe the Representatives to get them to pass a vote of confidence on President Jonathan, as well as quickly impeaching Speaker Aminu Tambuwal and some other principal officers for their alleged sympathy for the faction.
The statement was signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Chief Chukwuemeka Eze. It further alleged that the Tukur faction is working with some Presidency officials on the scheme.
"Part of their strategy is to place advertisements in major national newspapers in the country starting from next week, praising a non-performing Presidency to the high heavens so as to water the ground for President Jonathan’s expected declaration for the 2015 presidential contest,” it said. “Each member is expected to receive 25,000 USD (about N2.5M) to sign the advertorial endorsing the President.”
It said the plan also includes commencing the impeachment of principal officers of the House after the publication of the adverts. “We are aware of the identities of those involved in this shady business being coordinated by an influential member of the discredited Tukur faction from the Southern part of the country.
"Sadly, this is happening at a time when poverty is ravaging the land and our children are kept at home because of the refusal of the Federal Government to keep the agreement it reached with the Academic Staff Union of Universities since 2009.
"Passing a Vote of Confidence on President Jonathan and celebrating him in the papers as these undemocratic elements plan to do is not only insensitive but also amounts to celebrating the death traps called federal roads and celebrating darkness after the billions of naira squandered on a non-functional power sector."
The group added that the impunity associated with the Tukur-led PDP is yet another proof that the party is now in a desperate situation where the failed politicians are capable of doing anything in order to achieve their evil aims, adding, “But they will surely fail.”
It urged its members all over the world to continue with fasting and prayers as they collectively seek God’s face on how to resolve the orchestrated crisis in their great party and thus minimize the heavy toll which it is taking on the Jonathan administration.

I stated categorically that many muslims are in this same situation but just don't do anything about it.

As regards a muslim marrying a non! Muslim, that is the teachings of Islam, and if you look at it from a realistic point of view, compatibility is needed for a succesful marriage, except that's met, it's contrary to islamic teachings.

As you rightly pointed out, smartphones can do lots of things for us these days, but with that many aren't making use of it in that respect.

The muslims aren't left out in this,some of our leaders preach what they don't practise, while the followers just accept all without any rethink.
Hypocrisy is a very serious and great sin in the sight of Allah, it's even worse than Kufr (disbelieve). Because a disbeliever's stand and belief is known afore-hand, but an hypocrite can be a muslim in the morning, non-muslim in the afternoon, and a muslim at night.
An hypocrite most at times disbelieves after he has believed, and thus increases in disbelief.

Taking a look at the OBAS and title chiefs especially in most south west states, you see that they are mostly muslims.
These leaders observe the necessary islamic injuctions from Salat, Zakat, Fasting, Hajj etc very well. Infact they play a very crucial role in the islamic activities carried out in their various communities.
The same people indulge in all sort of Shirks, rituals, juju etc, as the culture demands, they are the ones who will support the various festivals, be it masquerede, idol worships, etc and yet proclaim to be muslims.
They are muslims to the muslims, and traditionalists to the tradionalists. They belong to neither this nor that, operating on double standards. What a hypocrisy!!
It's thus a wake up call on all of us to stop this mess, it's now becoming a part of us. Let people know the religion you practise, proclaim it, don't be a double standard person, and never accept any responsibility that can turn you to an hypocrite. Allah S.W.T says in Suratun-Nisaa chapter 4 verse 145 as regards the punishment for hypocrisy:
'Verily, The hypocrites will be in the lowest depth of the fire, no helper will you find for them'.
Hypocrisy is a vice that must be eradicated in our society to enhance progress.
Perhaps that was the greatest undoing of The Olu Of Warri.
How can you proclaim to the whole world that something is false, and then eat up your words.
Is he trying to tell us that he was forced to say that?
Did he mistakenly made those pronouncements?
What example is he laying for his followers and admirers?
Don't he know that, that act of his, could mean any of the following:
1. A public acceptance of those 'FALSE' gods.
2 The gods have never been 'FALSE'
3. His purpoted statement was under pressure, or a mistake.
4. He actually believes in the false 'gods'.

That's the situation we find ourselves in,
The Olu of Warri's travails is an opportunity to learn from his mistakes and make sure, it never happens to us.
It's pathetic, and sorrowful indeed that this happened, but it's gone now, it's a Lesson for us all, and indeed Let He Who Has Ear Hears.

Many a times, we find ourselves in situations where we think that the only way out is to shift grounds.
Brothers and sisters in Islam, when it comes to Islamic values and teachings, there's no room for compromise.
Let that your fiance/fiancee, boyfriend/girlfriend who's a non-muslim,know that your relationship might just be heading for the rocks, because it's Haram to marry a non-muslim especially for the ladies.
Let that employer who always frustrates you from practising your deen uprightly e.g: Telling you to take away your hijab i.e not even allowing you to put on head tie,
Or threatening you that it's either you indulge in fraudulent transactions or you get fired,
Or doesn't even give you a break to observe your Salat just for 5 minutes, that he can go anywhere he wishes with his/her Job, rather than compromise.
Let's all form the habit of not shifting grounds when our religion is been taken for granted especially if what we are asked to do is Haram.
I know that it's not easy to take that tough but decisive stand.

Had it been that (assuming that the Ogiame had the knowledge of christianity) didn't compromise he wouldn't have put himself in this mess, he wouldn't have thrown his community into Chaos, he wouldn't have brought his reputation into question.
That's why we should all try to practise Islam as supposed and Never compromise.
Compromising never solves the issue, it might make you look favourable to people,It's far away from that, rather it even takes you far away from your Creator, Sustainer i.e Allah S.W.T.

3.THE PEOPLE ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT:
As creatures of God Almighty,we tend to get swayed easily by what people do. We strive to feel among,hence allowing our environment to dictate the tone for us.
Some of us do certain things, not because it's right/wrong but just that it's a societal norm.
Well, that's what makes us human.
It's good to follow the trend,only when it's good. Yes, you can listen to the people infact it's a must if you're in a leadership position, but know deep inside of you that the People are not always right.
Never accept all you're told hook,line, and sinker. It's not out of place to re-assess whatever it's, if it's good follow it,but if bad then do otherwise.
Some friends, relatives, colleagues, etc are out there to mislead you.
Allah S.W.T says in the holy Qur'an
'And If you obey/follow most of the people on the earth, they will mislead you from the path of Allah'.
Brother, let that your friend who convinces you to watch that football match when it's time for SALAT(Prayer),know that Salat is more important than that mouth-watering classico match.
Sister, let that your friend who tells you that you look uncivilized because you're putting on Hijab, or you decide not to dress as they do(exposing your body) that it's your deen, identity and Life.
Infact, we all face different challenges daily, the pressure is there from all angles, some even say that 'The Voice Of The People Is The Voice of God'.
Yes, the challenges are there to make you stronger, it's there to ascertain how much you appreciate your deen, how much you're ready to sacrifice to propagate it.
Prophet Muhammad S.A.W faced these challenges, his followers faced same, but they were not deterred,rather they did all in their capacity to propagate Islam. Infact, they were promised heaven and earth ranging from Wealth,Fame, infact everything they desired.
They even bargained that Allah should be worshipped in a day, and their gods on another day.
A fair DEAL in their minds
Prophet never listened to their Voices, and Allah S.W.T replied to them appropriately in Suratul Kaafiruun Chapter 109 Verses 1 - 6.

The Olu Of Warri mistakingly listened to his people, (who knows if it was they who convinced him to be king in the first place), he realized his mistakes, but he was afraid to defend it very well, okay it will be a slap on his face if his people start burning and destroying properties all because of him, Then why not abdicate?. Or is't possible to eat your cake and have it.
May Allah make it easy for us to do the right thing and not listen/emulate people who are ready to mislead us. AMIN

4. DON'T BE A MUNAAFIQ (HYPOCRITE):
Allah S.W.T says about the hypocriter in Suratun-Nisaa Chapter 4 Verse 143:
'They are swaying between this and that, belonging either to these nor to those, and he whom Allah sends astray, you will find for him not a way(to the truth of Islam)'.
Nifaaq(Hypocrisy) is widespread, infact it's now a norm in the society. Ranging from the followers, the leaders, of different ideologies indulge in this shameful act. Our various institutions and organizations are not left out. We tend to conceal our true identity, and show people what really we are not.
This has thus led to lack of trust, insincerity, nepotism, corruption, and all sorts of vices.

Today ' I renounce our allegiance to Umalokun and other gods of the sea. I also repent for the name and title of 'OGIAME' that my ancestors and i have borne as it connotes allegiance to Umalokun and other deities of the sea, all of which are false.....
That was the bombshell dropped by The Olu Of Warri, Ogiame Atuwase II on September 4th 2013.
As expected there was uproar, protest, hullabaloo etc which almost turned violent. The tradionalists, politicians, palace chiefs all spoke with one voice i.e The Olu Of warri must recant his statement or abdicate his position.
The cyberspace was not left out of this, some criticised the Olu for biting the fingers that fed him while others praised him for having the Charisma to call the bluff of the gods, and also encouraging him for leaving darkness to light.
Almost a week later, The Olu listened to his people, he recanted his statement and pledged once again to the 'UMALOKUN' hence accepting the name OGIAME once more.
As usual, his people were happy, Peace was restored, and everything was back to square one.

Beyond all these: Let ask ourselves some sincere Questions:
1. What was The Olu thinking of when he initially accepted the title OGIAME?
2. When he realised he was on the wrong path, was he supposed to act in that way?
3. Why then did he accept the title OGIAME once more? Is't that the Voice of the people as they say is the voice of God?
4. He recanted his earlier renunciaton. What does that mean? Is he just been a coward? Or Is he confused? Or was he not ready to abdicate? Or.......

Really and truly, this has come and gone but can never be forgotten. It means differently to people, but for a Muslim it means a lot, it's a Lesson he/she should learn from. Many of us are in situations similar to this, in one way or the other, most are just too timid to face the situation squarely, while some just behave like the Olu.
Insha Allah, we will be delving into the Lessons learnt from this issue, hence pointing out the misdoings of the Atuwase II.

1. KNOWLEDGE IS KEY: Most muslims tend to neglect the importance of 'ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE', some just behave as if they don't care about it. While some are just too lazy to learn it.
That said, Knowledge as prophet Muhammad S.A.W said 'Is compulsory On every male and female muslim'.
Some muslims today regretably indulge in all forms of Shirk, haram etc.
It's not new to see matured muslims who can't perform Janaabah.
It's not new to see muslims who indulge in harams.
It's not new to see muslims who are 'OBAS' in our various states and bear allegiance to the gods.
If you then ask yourself: what is missing? You see that most of them don't have knowledge about it.
It's thus incumbent on all muslims to know about their religion.
Let's commit ourselves to training our young children, let's send them to Islamic schools/ madrasahs, so that they can know Islam. Also, the elderly ones among us should always improve ourselves islamically, let's listen to good islamic lectures, attend islamic gatherings, visit islamic websites e.t.c, because Ignorance is never an excuse in the sight of Allah.
Had it been the Ogiame(whom i think is of christain origin) knew about his religion, he wouldn't have indulged in such 'FALSE' act as he claimed,he would have known earlier that the gods are false, he wouldn't have accepted that 'OGIAME TITLE' in the first place.
That's what knowledge does for you, it lets you know the truth from falsehood,Differentiate Darkness from Light e.t.c.
May Allah help us to be among those that will uphold this vital religious obligation.

2. PRACTICE YOUR DEEN WELL AND NEVER COMPROMISE:
Recently i had a heated conversation with a relative of mine, it was all about the kingship in my hometown some years ago. He told me that then a professor of Arabic/Islamic who lectures at a top federal university in Nigeria(though he is late now,may Allah forgive his shortcomings) wished to be the king then.
I was like WOW what does he need that for? Then he said that he had the agenda of restructuring the kingship there to an islamic type(The Ilorin Prototype).I told my relative then that there's something wrong somewhere. What does a person vast in Islamic knowledge,a professor for that matter,seek in a kingship where all sort of shirks, disobedience to Allah etc take place. Is he not aware of the rituals that takes place before becoming a King. What if Death comes knocking at that time? What if he tries to change this culture that has been existent for long, and not successful? Hmmm. Something is really missing.
That's the bane of muslims today,always trying to compromise in their deen and rarely practise it well.
Allah S.W.T says in Suratul Baqarah Chapter 2 Verse 208.
'O You who believe! Enter perfectly and completely into Islam(by obeying all the rules and regulations of the Islamic religion) and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (SATAN). Verily! He is to you a plain enemy.

Well most of my fellow muslim brothers have answered you very well.
But the only advice i will give you is this: If you seek the truth and wish to know the truth. Open up your mind, don't be dogmatic, don't be conclusive, read the Qur'an yourself(translated), don't depend on all these anti islamic sites.
If we don't convince you much, there are many good islamic sites where all these your questions and more has been answered perfectly.

Though some of us have beared their mind on the causes of this haramic act and also proferring solutions, let me quickly chip this in.

Let me say without mincing words that what actually causes it is the Lackadaisical attitudes of Yorubas towards upholding the practices of their Religion especially Islam.
There are some Basic Islamic practices that seems strange to the Yorubas.
When you see someone putting on Hijab and the next thing you hear is 'Hijabian Sister' as if Hijab's alien to the Islamic culture.
When you see someone putting on cap, leaving his beard, etc, and the next thing you hear is ' Alfa Sunnah or Tableeq as if that's a new islamic practice.
Let be sincere with ourselves, The Yorubas most at times don't bother themselves with Islamic practices, most of them aren't ready to learn, infact when they see those practicing Islam well, they might even say Where did he get this new religion from.
Okay lets take a look at the following:
1. Taking a statistical study of the non-muslim schools in Lagos especially, you'l see that most muslims are studying there as if there are no muslim schools.
What do you expect them to learn there, who do you expect them to mingle with there etc.
If you bother to ask why they do this: You'l here 'Awon Muslim Schools Yen Won Ko Omo dada' i.e Those muslim schools don't teach well.
They are not ready to sacrifice nor help, most of them even owe these schools lots of money and leave without paying.
2. Showing a muslim identity is also very important. It's said that the way you dress is the way you are addressed.
I don't think it's possible for a conscious muslim sister who dresses islamically, to get approached by a non muslim, It's not possible.
Likewise, a person who doesn't associate with muslims, don't dress like them etc can't be approached by a muslim.
That's the irony of the Yoruba muslims.
3. Lastly, take a look at our leaders (political) in the southwest, especially the governors, just check who their spouses are and the rest is history.
Succintly put ' Awon Yoruba Musulumi Lo gba Igba kugba'.
The Yoruba muslims are the cause of this, until they change their attitudes, i fear any solution propounded might just hit the rocks.

Well, A man being a baby to his wife and vice-versa is not new. But the perspective in which we're looking at it might make it seem so.
Let's ask ourselves. Who a baby is?
From a layman definition, it can mean a child who depends solely on his/her parents for protection, guidance, training e.t.c and always lean towards them for such.
Now taking this to memory lane It's a fact that most men tend to depend on their wife for those things which he usually get from his mother e.g cooking, caring, advising e.t.c.
This was what led the Arabs do what's known as Izhaaru bin- Nisaai before Islam abolished it.
Similarly to a baby, whose mother knows whenever something is wrong with him or her, also the baby tends to cry whenever he or she wants anything from his mother.
The wife whose husband is her baby should know when the husband is worried, happy or otherwise.
Also the reaction of Men to some certain situation especially with the wife is baby-like.
Men are women's babies, we need their care, guidance, etc, Remember when prophet muhammad S.A.W saw Angel Jibreel for the first time, he ran to Khadijah and was telling her 'cover me' !.
He ran to her not only that she was the only person around but also she could provide the necessary support and care.
When you talk of a man's dressing, To me it's only a woman that doesn't know her responsibilities that'l allow her husband dress shabily and go out and then allow others to correct him.
Infact she should be the first to tell her baby that:
You look cute with this,
No, this doesn't match etc.
Anyway you look at it Men are women's babies and vice versa.
Allah also says about women and men being Libaas (cover) for one another in suratul baqarah chapter 2 verse 187.
May Allah help us all to take care of our babies.

Perhaps one of the greatest crisis of Muslims in the world today is the Identity crisis.
As we all know, Identity can be referred to as that Quality which distinguishes a particular group of people from others.
Muslims are not left aside in this, Infact Muslims have characters which have always distinguished them from other people.
Islam as a complete religion have shaped muslims' lives spiritually, morally, educationally, socially, and otherwise.
Going down the memory lane, our predecessors have laid down principles which we are obligated to follow, they practised Islam the way it's supposed. They gave up all they have, be it wealth, fame, self e.t.c for the proper spread, and understanding of Islam.
They gave ISLAM a face-lift, from the religion of the minority to that of the majority. They preserved Islam for us, we would never have known anything about it if not for them, they made sure they learnt, practised, and taught whatever they know from the Qur'an and Sunnah of Prophet muhammad (S.A.W).
Allah says in Suratul Hajj Chapter 22 vs 78 about Muslims:
' And strive hard in Allah's cause as you ought to strive, he has chosen you to convey his message to mankind, and has not laid upon you any hardship in the religion. It's the religion of your father Ibrahim. It's Allah who has named you muslims both before and in this Qur'an, that the messenger of Allah S.A.W may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind. So perform As-salaat, give zakaat, hold fast to Allah. He's your lord, what an excellent lord! And what an excellent helper!!.
This's the exact definition of muslims by Allah S.W.T, And this's the Identity proclaimed by prophet muhammad S.A.W, his followers(SAHABAS), Tabi'un etc.
The big question arises Where's the Muslims' Identity today.
Is this what muslims are known for today?

Well, except for a few the answer is a capital NO.
To be truthful to ourselves, most Muslims practise Islam but don't know exactly what they are practising. While some people know Islam but they do not practise it.
Let ask ourselves some sincere questions:
How many of us know about the lifetime of Prophet muhammad?
For those that know, how much do we put it into practice?.
How many of us can read the Qur'an as it's supposed?
If yes how many Surahs have we memorized?
How many of us have studied the lifetime of the prophet's Sahabas?
How many of us sincerely observe the teachings of Islam as supposed?
We can go on and on and on.
The truth is that we are all muslims and proud to be one, but that well known 'Muslim identity' is in a crisis.
It's not new to see Muslims today who do not observe Salat.
It's not new to see Muslims today who don't want people to recognise them as muslims.
It's not new to see muslims today who goes to Mosque on fridays and 'other places' on other days.
It's not new to see muslims today who see their fellow muslim brothers and sisters as backward and uncivilized.
It's not new to see muslims today who will advice their fellow muslim sisters to remove their Hijab or reduce it for some worldly gains.
It's not new to see so-called Alhajis and Alhajas who commit all sort of Harams openly.
We know that there are lots of misconceptions about us but our loss of identity has aided it alot.
Why don't we be Real Muslims like our predecessors.
What's it with our Identity?
Yes we have lost it?
But can't it be solved?
What do you think is the problem?
Is't Education? Civilization? Or something else.
How can it be solved?
How do we rescue muslims from this identity crisis.

It pains Me and It Pains all free(sincere) muslims.
The Question on the lips of everyone is WHERE ARE THE MUSLIMS.
May Allah S.W.T help muslims all over the world to overcome this identity crisis and be among those whose 'muslim identity' is intact.

Well, i don't blame you, it's your opinion and it really counts for a robust discussion.
But let me tell you this, This's a forum and everybody has a right to bear their mind no matter how it 'seems' to you.
You might call it whatever you like but at least it's not always out of place.
The 'is't from a Confirmed Source' is jst a way of jst neglecting ur unwarranted use of 'Common Sense' and at least minimise the 'replies' that might come from that.

Today is another day, it still beats my imagination that there's no news yet from Ilorin.
All we've been hearing is Rumours. That's one of the things i dislike about Ilorin, you'l hear different news from different peeps, and the funniest thing is The Rumours tend to be true at last.
Imagine even those of us awaiting resumption, we've heard lots of dates.
A friend once told me, we're resuming on Octomber 1st, i was a bit sceptical abt that, later on september 23rd was on the lips of everybody. I later on asked this same Octomber date friend, he said it's now september 23rd. Isn't that contradictory?
If i tell you that just yesterday, i started hearing Octomber 7th again.

So, that's UNILORIN for you.
The best thing is to await official statement from the school website.

One of the greatest problem of this country is SENTIMENT.

Wow, whether he was denied access totally or asked to follow alternative route, what the POLICE did is totally wrong and unwarranted.
Many Questions arise:
1. Does a C.P have superiority over the governor?
2. Why must party politics be mingled with state affairs?
3. What did the POLICE achieve or wish to from this?
4. Is this not another Guiness Book of Record for the Nigerian Police.
