Programming is fun, but developing quality software is hard. I have come across quite a few programmers who are more interested in learning as many languages as they can to the detriment of learning good design techniques and development practices. While it is good for us as developers to learn as many languages as we can, it is also crucial for us realize that learning languages alone is not enough we must also devote as much time to learning the techniques, tools and practices of the trade.

For me, I can't learn more than one language which is Kotlin for Android development. I don't like learning and writing multiple languages I will rather stick with one then develops so many things with it.

One thing I know for sure is that programming can never be saturated I repeat can't be saturated people will rather abandoned it to go to another field.
Gather 10 people today buy each of them a laptop and data to learn programming, give them 1 year you will be surprised that hardly 2 people will still continue learning it.
Programming is a life long learning career you must sacrifice some things you really enjoy.

When I was looking for my first dev job, I used to check how the job market in other African countries were and honestly aside South Africa, Nigeria has the highest number of vacancies out there. A lot of jobs we look down on here in Nigeria you won't even see to do in these countries. Africa is doomed. I knew this 2 years ago when I was job hunting. A whole African country will have only 80 jobs. A village in Canada will have 10000 new jobs lol.

Some of those jobs will want you to live in Canada before you can get the job

Going to another country comes with a lot of challenges, you will only be given certain dirty and menial jobs, but I think our people are ready to do anything out there just to survive.
