Christianity Etc › Re: I Haven't Received Injection In 51 Years, I Can Never Take Any Vaccine- Oyedepo by Sheunma: 6:32am On Jun 30, 2020 |
There are different route of giving drugs to people: drugs can be swallowed, placed underneath the tongue, inserted through the anus and vagina, rubbed on the skin, injected into the vessels, injected into the muscles and underneath the skin etc etc. Infact, in today's world, drugs can be administered almost anywhere in the body.
Someone who swallows antimalarial tablet has taken same drug as another who have antimalarial injected into them. They are all the same thing. It does not mean at all that people who take injections are seriously or terminally sick. A maglignant cancer patient could be placed on oral drugs while someone nail prick while working in a farm could get injections. In short, many things determine what route drugs are administered and most of the time it's not due to how serious an ailment is.
It is mischievous and I dare say ignorant to say I have not taken ingection in years when you gulp loads of tablets down your gut in the name of multivitamins every single day. My father is hypertensive and basically moves about with packets of assorted antihypertensive drugs. Since I knew to differentiate by right from my left hand, I do not remember him take injections for anything.
I wish MOGs would stop saying things like this. Some of their listeners and followers most often than not, in what I describe as blind Faith, lean toward the extreme by refusing medications in whatever form even for potentially life threatening illnesses. Many people rely on religious leaders for directions and decision making in almost all aspects of their lives and statements like this is could be potentially dangerous to them and family members. |

Mac2016: Part of the five pillars of Islam is belief in Jesus Christ without which no Muslim can enter heaven. Jesus is the way "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). You don't have to lie for Jesus, you know. |

ask him to forgive ur sins, ask him to become your Lord and Saviour “Should anyone follow a religion other than Islam, it shall never be accepted from him, and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter” ( Quran 3:85). |

Missyajoke: The life before birth involves "The development of the unborn child" The life of a human being begins at fertilization (or conception), when a sperm cell fuses with an oocyte (egg) to produce a new human organism. This individual is called a zygote at the one-cell stage of development, an embryo through the first eight weeks, and a fetus from eight weeks until birth. Each of us was once a zygote, embryo, and fetus, just as we were once infants, toddlers, and adolescents. All of these terms refer to stages in the life of a member of the species Homo sapiens. Where did you get all this info? |

Why didn't Allah just hand over a copy of the book to Mohammed at the time? I mean it is believed that the original copy of the Quran itself is in heaven, right?
A Simple photocopy would have saved Muslims the world over having to put up with embarrassing situations trying to explain away this monumental confusion.
Come to think of it, our own ancestors did make similar mistakes of passing down our heritage and traditions via oral transmission. I'm pretty sure no sane mind would say our culture and traditions were preserved from earliest time to present day.
Pointedly, it was some men and not Allah who eventually decided to have the Quran compiled and unified when many of its memorizers were being slaughtered in war. Smart men I must say.
Without those future thinking men, the miracle of Allah to the world would probably have been lost in it's entirety to war!

God had to leave his majestic throne in heaven, come to a lowly planet earth, conceived by a lowly maiden who had never been ravaged.
Born in a lowly place where animals were kept. Captured as an adult by the people he created, brutalized, gored and nailed to a cross just so he'd died
for their sins and ultimate redemption. finally resurrecting few days after, he ascended to heaven to resume back is godly duties.
If someone told you this story for the very first time as an adult, you'd probably recommend that they check into mental facility! |

Christianity Etc › Re: 2 Reasons Why Cheating On Your Spouse Is Not In The Bible. by Sheunma: 8:01am On Jun 14, 2020 |
AntiChristian: I won't commit adultery! I will just marry more wives.
Exodus 21:10 If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, or her marital rights.
Deuteronomy 21:15-17 “If a man has two wives, the one loved and the other unloved, and both the loved and the unloved have borne him children, and if the firstborn son belongs to the unloved, then on the day when he assigns his possessions as an inheritance to his sons, he may not treat the son of the loved as the firstborn in preference to the son of the unloved, who is the firstborn, but he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the unloved, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the firstfruits of his strength. The right of the firstborn is his.
Isaiah 4:1 And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach.” I won't commit adultery! I will just marry more husbands. |
