He committed no punishable offense. There’s freedom of religious beliefs and association. |
These guys should not skyrocket the cases in Nigeria o. Both the government and its people dey misbehave. |
Why people like to dey gather for Nigeria like this anytime something happens? |
amaks:The federal government did not arrest or prosecute those ones in Lagos, the Lagos state government did. There’s a directive for lockdown by the FG, yes, but there are no laws made to convict violators. I’m not supporting any of them, just clarifying. |
Coborona:Lagos made a law that forbids breaking the lockdown rules. Those that gathered at Kyari’s burial were not in Lagos and are not governed by Lagos laws. |
Mace0lane:Is this really necessary? |
Glo LTE. Never been disappointed. But the 3G is bull crap. Never put ur glo network on 3G. I’ve only experienced glo 3G faster than the LTE I get here in Lagos when I was in Zango Katsina. Must be due to limited number of persons surfing the net in that location though. All in all glo LTE is reliable. Airtel is good but dem zap data pass anything. |
Why nairaland no dey here? |
Ekun oko USA |
Many more will be arrested. This lockdown can’t continue for too long. The spread isn’t reducing, the economy is crumbling, in Lagos crime rate is high, food supplies are running short. It’s better we find a way to live with this virus by wearing some form of protective wears. This virus will still be around for a while. |
Hopefully, Kano state no go turn world epicenter with highest casualties. These our neighbors up north will not obey social distancing rules, Ramadan don enter, they’ll go for Jumaa on Friday and Tarawih prayers during Ramadan. These guys no just like to hear word or follow simple instructions. |
Job2004:It ended in death for both of them. According to reports the fair one died on the way to hospital the dark one died in the hospital. |
No social distancing? One person even puts his hand in the coffin, I am sure he saw clearly those handling his corpse are well protected. Those guys shouldn’t be allowed to leave that place. |
The poor and vulnerable again? What about those that pay those crazy bills, taxes on businesses and income taxes. Are they telling us that we deserve nothing? Even when these our so called politicians get everything almost for free. This country is truly run by some crazy ass people parading themselves as leaders. You said no palliatives for the non poor and vulnerable, we agreed now it’s this same poor and vulnerable that normally do not use electricity or have electricity in their communities that will still enjoy from this. The working class, business owners can still continue paying because you feel they have money. We have such useless leaders. |
My own degree isn’t what I’m using to make a living. Just ensure you have some skill sets that are needed by people. What I do now, I started with zero naira, cos it’s service I render. I’m looking forward to investing in the agriculture sector too though, but I am taking my time and gathering funds and knowledge. All in all, don’t rely on ur degree only to make a living. Learn other things. |
I wonder how the north will not record high number of cases and death when they still insist on going to say Jumuah prayers. The shit might just have spread badly without them knowing. Or could this be competition cos of the grants affected states are receiving? It better not be o. Cos some countries will rather trade money for this disease. Anyway which way, we are staying home for a looooooong period. |
Sorry to say o. But it seems na Ibadan/Oyo people do thuggery pass. awhybliss:A bullet to his head and he’s gone. Sugar was killed like a bug. No one is unstoppable. Thuggery does not pay. |
I heard of such people too while serving in Katsina. A corps member (female) narrated her ordeal when she went to a salon in Daura to make her hair; how she saw Men dressed as women with makeup fixing nails. The one fixing nails as she said, appears to be the girlfriend while the boyfriend waited for her(him) in the salon. I was surprised how such could be possible in the north. This your narrative explains why she said the people(fellow northerners) were not surprised seeing them. |
Better they use it to build hospitals Biko. |
If to say everything they work well for Nigeria now, this is the best time to toast some foreign companies to come and set up manufacturing here o. |

This virus might have spread more than they can imagine in the state. They mingle a lot up there, the children might have gone for prayers, the dad could have gone for prayers too, the wife must have interacted with some other women. |
Hmmm. Conceal your intentions from the adversary. The Vice President is simply saying there’s need for the use of spies. The generals should know this. Or do they not know they need to use the services of spies in warfare? |
She made points. These celebs are quick to tag anyone or people that say the truth or tell them the fact broke. These same broke people are the ones that made u a celebrity you are today. They see everyone that stands against them on social media as broke and hater. Our hypocrisy is just too much. We hate hearing the truth and that’s what most of these so called celebs display. |
Mind your business o. (In Simi’s voice) |
You carry your hot body go kill another man all because you think say he dey straff ur woman. Enjoy your long vacation in Nigerian overcrowded prisons. Next time follow the advise of this man; “If passion gaineth the mastery over reason, the wise will not count thee amongst men. - Firdausī.” Culled from the Book of Wise sayings. |
Our lawmakers are looking on how to renovate National Assembly complex with N37B. |
They can keep fit while in quarantine |
They don’t learn. |
When are they starting mass testing Biko. Because only then will we know how many people are living with this virus. |
And people are jogging and exercising in groups. Fat wey u no burn in 20 years u wan burn in 14 days. Continu. |
EagleSquare1:There’s no doubt that our troops have done well. I’m not blaming the soldiers here. If an advantage is gained over the enemy, you push harder for final victory. Our troops have pushed these guys in the past, but what happens the government relaxes, in terms of negotiations and releasing some captured fighters to the enemy and paying ransome, the worst of them all rehabilitation of terrorists. All these will weaken the morale of the soldiers on the battlefield. All these coupled with the fact that these soldiers hear of billions in dollars and naira being released to procure arms, but they aren’t getting these arms whereas the enemy is stockpiling arms on a daily. There’s no morale booster for these men risking their lives for this country. How can a president or some generals not take decisive steps on hundreds of soldiers killed. The Chadian military carried out this retaliatory attack because 92 of their soldiers were killed by BH, about 50 of Nigerian soldiers too were killed in that same attack, but did our president or the generals say anything or take any action on the matter? This is just a few, Metele, Baga and so many other battles that lead to losses of Nigerian soldiers are not excluded. How did the government pay back these soldiers? Releasing and spending billions of naira to rehabilitate your enemy. And on the expansion to the middle belt or down south, Boko Haram doesn’t seem to want that. They want to establish a caliphate in the North East/Chad basin. |
