I saw this flash sale for Samsung S8 on Jumia, I had to stop work till 9:30am just so I get it and when it was time, I kept clicking on the item but it always redirects me to a page where you have several phones. After like 2 minutes of constant clicks, the last time I tried I just saw "Sold Out" stamped on it.
These people are just full of poo.

His friend is not a G boy, I have noticed the same thing too. My friends in Canada, US and UK call me often and 8 out of every 10 times they call, I see a local number. I've asked and they say they don't know why their numbers are showing like that. But there should be a logical reason to this though.

Now I understand why I had to call my wife to confirm which route they took from Ikeja to Mafoluku most of the time.
This story clearly explains why the route of the first picture is like that while the second picture is the normal/usual route. Notice the difference in route and amount charged? Also note the fact that the actual trip in both instances were undertaken by following the exact same route yet there are difference in price and the route shown on the receipts.
Kai, it will take a lot to change this fraudulent mentality in many Nigerians.

Funny enough, I had same conversation with my wife today. A delivery guy brought diapers I ordered online, I transferred the cash to her account, she paid and told me afterwards and I thanked her. She then asked why I was thanking her, I told her it was just out of mare cutesy.
Children should thank their parents after a meal not because their parents are doing them any favour, but simply out of cutesy.
Yes, parents have the obligation to provide for their children and the children should appreciate the efforts put in by the parents to provide for them, mostly out of cutesy. In doing that, the children will also learn to appreciate people outside when efforts are put into providing them any service or favours. If the child doesn't say thank you, that is not a ground for victimisation or an opportunity to beat the child to force it on the child because the parent has not done anything extraordinary for the child.
That's just my opinion though, to each his own.

I have other account but because of financial discipline, I decided decided not to have ATM cards or internet banking access to the other accounts. I've got FCMB and Access Bank accounts, there is no point in having accounts scattered all over.

I have never been embarrassed as much as I was yesterday, all my online and ATM transactions were declined. If not for the fact that I was well know at the restaurant I went to in VI yesterday, who knows what would have become of me. At the end of the day, I had to beg for cash at the office before I could leave.
It was terrible.

I wonder why then all the internal squabble, why we can't just live together in peace without the tribalism and hate for each other, only the bare our fangs at non-nigerians taking a swipe at us.

He is obviously lying. For you to earn that much in Shclum, you would be a manager. Even the offshore guys "hardly" earn that much. He was even a staff of MI (not a core Schlum staff)

I had same exact issue. I called GTB and they siad there was nothing wrong with my card; I also called Paypal and they too said they don't any challenge from their end and that I should contact my Bank.
The thing is so frustrating I had to forget using Paypal altogether.

Apparently she might not be cheating, what I find annoying is the way she is losing guard towards that so called friend to the extent that he would be asking her if she misses him. The guy is just being a perv and should try and get a girlfriend that would miss him, not a married woman.

Also, I think he is mistaking the woman's posture (being at ease) around him to mean she has interest. She should minimize the way she chats with him especially that night chat because it seems it's beginning to give him ideas.

You might be right.
I call my married female friends Babe, even when I receive or call them in my wife's presence. The only thing I would have done differently if I were the lady is to ask the guy to stop being silly by asking me if I missed him (even if we had a history) and the late chats too will definitely pass a wrong message.
But the heart of men/women is very deep sha, it is well.

Anyways, told my brother in-law about it and he gave my boy his old Xbox Original but the disks he gave us are not playing due to overuse. I've been searching for where to get games to no avail, any ideas?
