The market women in Bodija market(Ibadan) sweat for those things they wear. They dont have corruption charges on their backs, they were not oil ministers when oil sold for the highest and money started growing wings.

Do not insult Ibadan women, they might sound/look razz but they have honor and pride in not having their names smeared in thievery.

Madam, they wear gold yes, but they also have honor.

some of you just comment without reasoning, he was accused of collecting a contract worth 700m without doing anything what does that have to do with party affiliation? If he knows he's clean why did he refuse to go for the interviewhuh

The way some so called youth had been reasoning since GEJ was kicked out of Aso Rock makes me weep for Nigeria, I don't see the nation moving forward with this kinda youths at the head, they would probably be worst than the current set of politicians we have now
And did you read that the managing director of the company said he has nothing to do with the contract. The way so Buharians has been reasoning since Buhari assumed office is disgusting.

You lie like a wicked witch. Funny enough many pple will take what you wrote for truth.
On the boko haram and blood and baboon story a certain Reuben Abati, who was in the service of a certain Goodluck Jonathan, asked buhari to tamper justice with Mercy for the lies he told against him. Jonathan even sent a high powered delegation to beg buhari to drop that case. Buhari did. That was why vociferous ffk ddnt use those lines against buhari during the campaigns. It was a bad lie they couldn't defend.

His stand on the fulani herdsmen is know to All. The only grey area is that he ddnt address the issue on time.

sir, it saddens me when men who are supposed to be intelligent ends up reasoning like amateurs. take yourself for instance, you always like to give the impression that you are fighting for the interest of the north when in actual fact, you always end up painting the picture that makes people believe that the north is made up of savages!

I still cant rationalize the aim of the northern elite - are they intentionally reverse educating their people so as to keep them in perpetual ignorance so they cant see the rot and damages perpetrated on them by their so-called elite or is it that the so-called northern elites truly feel that they are doing their very best for the region. anyway that will be a discussion for another day.

Lets look at the situation of the north today with regards to the oil boom - Its only a f00l that will believe that oil boom brought blessings to the North!

Let me take you back in history in the 40s, 50s and lately 60s. The North was the wealthiest region in the British protectorate hence the colonialist special interest in that region. The Northern Part of Nigeria was the food basket of the Sahel Sahara, southern Nigeria and parts of the hinterland.

The North grows almost all aspect of food produce required by man and in very huge quantity - the Norther land is so fertile that almost all the cash crops grow their! yams, tomatoes, onions, groundnuts, pepper, potatoes, assorted vegetables, root crops and so many others - just name it and u will find it in large quantity in the North!

As if nature has not blessed them enough, it also gave them the Niger River to make sure the North doesn't lack in marine produce fish which is in such abundance that give it almost free to other parts of the Sahara and beyond!

The North is a favorite grazing land for animals - the Norther is blessed with cattle, sheep, goats, abundant livestock and numerous other kinds of animals! hence the reason why North is a major exporters of cash crops, hides and skin and various other exotic foods - The British and their allies back then described the Northern part of Nigeria as paradise in the desert! The region was richly blessed!

Back in this period of discussion, Islam being a dominant religion in the North, preached tolerance, contentment and love for your neighbor! The North became a mighty three that people from various region took shelter under. The economic boom of the region was outstanding!

then comes the ALMIGHTY OIL!

The North abandoned all the blessings nature bestowed on them and went after easy oil money! and for all the blessing nature bestowed on them of which they abandoned for easy oil money, all they can boast of as their profit for losing all the good they have - is wealth among 10% of their citizen while the majority 90% is living in poverty and squalor! A nation of many wealthy citizens turned out to be a nation of poverty and low education!

@fulanmafia, people like you should hide their heads in shame cause its your type that pulled the North down on its knees!

meanwhile, keep eating your popcorn when you are supposed to be dining like a prince from the desert! cheesy
God bless you sir.

You don't have to be a PDP to be a wailer. John the Baptist was a wailer, Nigerians are wailers simply because they disagree with the modus operandi of the present administration, Haba! If Dannytosh took time to go through the post, there are salient points he would have taken home and see how we can fashion out solutions to them.
Supporters of Mr President must realise that all Nigerians have a bona-fide stake in PROJECT NIGERIA and that Nigerians are not a Conquered Nation by the APC, that we must grovel when talking about Leaders who won an HISTORIC MANDATE they are finding difficult to use for our COLLECTIVE BENEFIT.
Mr President has a short period of 2years 6months to fix Nigeria, therefore he must listen to all side and weigh options. This was the same mistake the PDP made by thinking that they are INVINCIBLE before they were humbled out of office by the Apc, with thier tail tuck under thier legs like scurrying dogs. Listen to other views, no Government policy is cast in STONE.
There is need to stop these blind sycophancy....

PoliticsNo Record Of Diezani Arrest- London Police Spokeman by shift15(op): 10:03pm On Oct 02, 2015
A London Police spokesman has told Reuters the he had no record of arrest of former Nigeria oil minister Mrs. DIezani Allison Madueke. Further confirmation sought by Reuters from National Crime Agency was not responded to.

Former Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan’s petroleum minister, Mrs. Alison-Madueke was reportedly arrested in London on Friday, a source from Nigeria's presidency circle and another with links to her family said.

The two Nigerian sources did not say why she had been arrested but under Alison-Madueke's watch, oil-related scandals involving billions of dollars became almost commonplace in Africa's top oil producer, ranging from fuel subsidy fraud to missing crude revenues.

A statement for the British High Commission in Abuja said that five people between the ages of 21 and 60 had been arrested on suspicion of bribery and corruption offences on Friday morning.

"The crimes are being investigated by the National Crime Agency," it said, without naming anyone.

Alison-Madueke's personal assistant or a lawyer representing her could not be reached, but she has previously denied any wrongdoing.

Many Nigerians had been expecting her arrest after President Muhammadu Buhari officially replaced Jonathan at the end of May.

Buhari, a former general, won the elections at the end of March after promising to crack down on corruption, which is endemic in Africa's biggest economy.

President Kenyatta leaves for UN meeting in New York

President Uhuru Kenyatta has travelled to the United States to attend the 70th Session of United Nations General Assembly in New York.

President Kenyatta will on Friday attend a summit where the UN is expected to adopt the new post-2015 development agenda, enshrined in what are known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“President Kenyatta will make sure Kenya’s voice is heard as the world adopts the new development agenda, completing a process which Kenya has actively participated in,” State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu said.

While in New York, President Kenyatta will also co-chair or participate in high-level meetings tackling gender inequality and empowering women, peace, security and counter-terrorism, enhancing investments in Kenya and the African continent, climate change and trade.

With President Xi Jinping of China, President Kenyatta will co-chair a panel on women's empowerment, where Kenya is recognised as one of the leading successes in Africa.

“The President has repeatedly made it clear that gender equality is a national priority. His government’s policy reflects that commitment ranging from setting aside funds for business run by female entrepreneurs to directing extra funding to health services that are likely to be used by women,” Mr Esipisu said.

PEACE OPERATIONS

Later, President Kenyatta is expected to speak at a summit on UN peace operations that will be attended by several leaders, led by US President Barack Obama.

Kenya has long been a significant contributor to the UN’s peacekeeping operations.

The President is expected to hold other important bilateral meetings.

In preparation for the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (Ticad), which Kenya will be hosting in 2016, the President will meet Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan.

At the meeting, President Kenyatta is expected to affirm joint plans for Ticad as well as follow up on other bilateral matters arising since his visit to Japan earlier this year.

President Kenyatta is also scheduled to meet United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to discuss matters of interest to the UN and Kenya, including the question of refugees.

Mr Esipisu said Kenya was honoured and proud of the important role it played in the post-2015 development agenda process.

He pointed out that Kenya’s permanent representative at the UN, Mr Macharia Kamau, co-chaired the Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals and co-facilitated the inter-governmental negotiations on the post-2015 development Agenda.

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta is already in New York, at the invitation of the UN secretary-general, to address maternal health, HIV and Aids, and widening access to healthcare for the marginalised, a campaign the First Lady has successfully spearheaded through her Beyond Zero initiative in Kenya.

The plane carrying President Kenyatta departed Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after 5.40pm.

Obviously, your service is not needed by his company.
If you had suggested ways of improvement to him and he did not see reason in that, then just tender your resignation letter.
As regards salaries of months you have worked for, I advise you just let it go. Many businesses are merely surviving now.
Get your self confidence back, find something doing to engage you and go job hunting again.
