Don't mind my boring story Pls.
Am a Yoruba lady, HUB yoruba.
We are both adventurous with food esp soups. HUB during his service years toured around Nigeria abit,
To the main issue
I Av perfected edikaikong
I want to start cooking other soups recipe.
But we will eventually purge o after my experiments .eg the bitter leaf soup.(ofe onugbu) I cooked last Week. We purge sotey. Hmmmm
Even egusi soup. But I eat in people's houses and I don't purge.
My next experiment is ofe nsala
Pls can u tell me what am not doing right?

you can try the bitterleaf again but this time check your seasoning and hygiene ,if possible get fresh bitter leaf boil or wash them yourself before use.bitter leaf does alot help to the tummy. For the egusi instead of ugwu leaf replace with uziza,bitterleaf or okazi.very little utazi leaf can be added too.dont forget to watch your seasoning.

I've been quite depressed at the moment and I'm on the verge of losing my sanity.

My girlfriend of two years just dumped me via WhatsApp chat, saying she's walking out of the relationship.

Her reasons were that I'm not too rich as she expects and most of all she says I'm not good looking...(After two years of spending on her recklessly).

I'm really confused as I don't know what to do..
Am I really bad looking?? In my assessment, I think I'm average (See pic attached).

Bruv, the first thing you need to do now is to make them to be scared of you. Very necessary at this point.

Next time you send any of them message and he/she refuses because of your wife, flog the hell out of that one, if your wife tries to misbehave, flog her too with well-deserved uppercut and smackdown. If possible, stop eating her food because she's capable of doing something unexpected with what you eat.

They'll become scared of your recent behavior and adjust. Strict dads keep the best, calm and organized home.

What next? Your wife will try to manipulate them by using your new attitude towards them. Keep being strict towards them and still do your fatherly works towards them.

Trust me, you need to go very hard right now since your soft ways ain't working.

Mothers manipulations towards their kids against their dad can only function when they are tender, when they grow, they MUST know the truth and the mum will be at the loosing end.

If you don't have the mind to do what I've advised--Divorce your wife. You can't keep housing a demon who's quick to use your kids against you because she's closer to them.

it will make things worst,that's like adding salt to injury.just keep being you,provide for them,sit them down,assure them your love for them and prove it.any punishment,at this point will increase disrespect from them and hatred too instead always advice them,even if they disobey or ignore now, truth is the words will remain in their hearts.it is your chance to make them see the good in you use it to your advantage.if u decide to divorce her, don't stop loving your children.they will realize their mistake someday.

Okro soup cooked with the biggest pot in the house. But where there is no light, how do you preserve it to last for one week?

where there's no light best way is portion your okra and ingredients.cook what will serve for a day or two,as it looses taste and get salty if you have to warm everyday of the weekyou can slice the okro then sundry so it doesn't go bad.switch between fresh okro soup and dry okro soup ,you can change the Vegetable too if you wish.
