When I took over as a director in our company , I noticed that the company’s Secretary is a chronic liar

Most excuses she gives to avoid coming to work always seem like lies to me . But I couldn’t confront her since I don’t have proves .

Today her mum is very sick, tomorrow her dad is about dying .

I also noticed that she doesn’t do her jobs ( financial recordings ) . She is always sleeping at work and says she is sick when confronted .

We started looking for replacements , but I noticed also that she discourages everyone that wants to work .

On Thursday, she said her dad was dead and would be Buried on Saturday . I granted her a leave between Thursday and Saturday and I conclude that I must find her village and attend the burial without telling her .

On getting to her village , I discovered that there was no burial and the parents she constantly used as excuse died years ago

I sent her video I made in her village only for her to tell me that she won’t come to work again .

She handed nothing over to the company . She didn’t provide details of the transactions she did in the previous weeks .

I asked her details of the companies transactions during the Naira scarcity , she refused to come bring these things .

This resignation would take us one year backwards in other to sort her stuffs out. She handed over to no one

If I let her go free , other workers would emulate her .

How do I start nailing her please ??

Some bandits were reported to have at kidnapped at least 40 worshippers during service at Bege Baptist Church, Madala on Buruku Baringi road in the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday.

The chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna State chapter, Rev. John Hayab, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday.




Hayab said the incident happened at about 9:30 am when the worshippers were in the service.

“The worshippers were in the Sunday service in the Church when around 9:30 am they heard gunshots very close to the Church. The gunmen attacked the Church and went away with 40 worshippers,” he said.

He, however, added that 15 of the abducted worshippers escaped, leaving behind 25 others who were at present in the kidnappers’ den.

“Along the way, somehow 15 of the kidnapped persons returned remaining the rest 25 who are presently in captivity without any word from their abductors,” he said.

Hayab added that efforts were being made to contact the abductors on the remaining 25 victims.

Late Pa AJM Diri funeral: Obasanjo, Jonathan, Osinbajo, Atiku, Governors in Commendation Service in Sampou

Two former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, State Governors, serving and former members of the National Assembly, other top government functionaries and captains of industry, today graced the Commendation Service in honour of late Pa Abraham Joseph Michael Diri, father of Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri.

At the service held at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Sampou, Governor Diri, described their late father as a pillar and great man of impact.

Some Governors-elect were also in attendance.

The Managing Director of the NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Country Chair of Shell Petroleum Development Company, Mr. Osagie Okunbor and other captains of industry graced the event.

Pa AJM Diri, a retired Primary School Headmaster died at the age of 88.

“It is important that our national currencies are increasingly used in bilateral trade“, Putin said. “We should continue promoting settlements in national currencies, and expand the reciprocal presence of financial and banking structures in our countries’ markets”.

The Russian leader added, “We support using Chinese yuan in transactions between the Russian Federation and its partners in Asia, Africa and Latin America”.

Just a week after Xi’s trip to Moscow, China announced that it had for the first time used yuan to buy liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the UAE.

The deal was negotiated between the state-owned China National Offshore Oil Company and the French company TotalEnergies, meaning European firms are now willing to conduct transactions in yuan.

French media outlet RFI described the trade as a “major step in Beijing’s attempts to undermine the US dollar as universal ‘petrodollar’ for gas and oil trade”.

The report quoted the chairman of the Shanghai Petroleum and Natural Gas Exchange, Guo Xu, who said the deal encouraged “multi-currency pricing, settlement and cross-border payment”.

On March 30, China and Brazil (the world’s most populous and sixth-most populous countries) announced they had come to an agreement to trade with each other in their local currencies, yuan and reais.

China’s media network CGTN reported, “The deal will enable China, the world’s second-largest economy, and Brazil, the biggest economy in Latin America, to conduct their massive trade and financial transactions directly, exchanging yuan for reais and vice versa instead of going through the dollar”.

It noted that China is Brazil’s biggest trading partner, and in 2022 the two countries did more than $150.5 billion worth of trade.

Brazil’s leftist President Lula da Silva has called for Latin America to develop a new currency for regional trade, which he calls the Sur.

In the first video a woman alleges that she left her child at home and went to buy food. A man approached her on her way back and asked her to name her price. She told the man that she was married, but the man asked her if she didn't need money and asked how much it would cost to touch her breast.
