I successfully completed the Visa forms for me and my family and chose 13th of March for biometeric
I was referred to Teleperformance website which I have registered with.
While going throu the site I got to the value added services
Do I opt for the Preminuim lounge service which will cost me #89 GBP and since we are four that #356 GBP (N 112,500) and I am just wondering if its really necessary.

methinks its totally unnecessary......my visa was issued within 4 working days and i didnt even do expedited visa, premuim lounge is different from expedited visa...the lounge is like a vip lounge just like in airports you pay 2 to 5k to stay in the vip lounge.....and not in the common area with odinary peeps :0

total waste of money for me, but i aint a vip...............if u r a vip or celebrity or gat the dough.feel free to pay...i doubt it affects the visa outcome in any way

@All....I went in for the dreaded HSG today o . But it was painful o (not more than what I can bear sha) but mehnnn! That pain for me no be here o . Though the result is not yet out, but while the Doctor was at it, he said I have copious discharge, but not offensive, my cervical opening is too small, that they had to quickly get a new Iron like that (can't remember the name), yet it was too big! They tried so many but, that hole no gree open mouth o. So he evetually forced one in (which explained why I bled afterwards). But the issue now is that am having pain, radiating towards my back, DH tried massaging with hot water and I also took analgesic. Can't even stand straight cos its like something is pulling back at my abdomen. Now, my O is this week, but don't think I'll be able to bd at all for like 2wks cos of this pain o, yet I don't want this cycle to just slip away like that. Pls what should I do o!!!!

you can do poor man iui , ur hubby ejacs into a container and the doc sucks it up and uses a narrow tube to pump it into ur uterus.......no washing or sorting of s,emen as in the proper iui.....relatively cheap 10 to 30k for 3 attempts...if you are inventive, careful and brave enough..u n ur hubby can come up with a diy method......wishing ur baby dust!!!

@ poster asking about amount in the bank..i think the main thing is not withdrawing cash in the acct to below what you filled is available for the trip. .eg if u say trip will cost 500k..and u put 1m as amt available for the trip., n lets assume u have 4m in ur acct...i believe u can withdraw upto 1 or 2m from same acct..as total amount is still above what u stated is available for the trip

wow, it appears, the new rule is that some1 else cant collect ur passport/documents for you.

It is not possible for a third party to collect the documents on behalf of an applicant, except in the following cases:

A parent collecting for a dependent child.
One member of a family group collecting the passports for the whole family, if applied together.
Government Ministry representatives.
Business Network company representative, approved by the British High Commission and the company’s authorized signatories with a letter of permission and a photograph

SEARCH using the city you intend to visit, select your dates..chikena.
be carefuland read the fine print some hotels don't allow free cancellation, they will deduct money fromur card as soon as youj book, so be very very careful and read the whole info throughly

NO, no outright payment, just online booking/reservation, rate is abt 22k/night, so about 220k for 10 nights

also, another wahala, now if I say I have someone in the uk..they form now asks, if you will VISIT or STAY with that person?
is that not a tricky question, why would they lump stay and visit together?......of course I wud viosit my sister, but am applying as a tourist..using hotel booking.

The system allows multiple application form submission, so, if you think that the mistake is gross enough to jeopardize your application, then you can fill in a new application.

As for the second part, you do not have to provide both bank statemts, either of you can take the sponsorship responsibility.
By the way, did you say that you earn N25k (twenty-five thousand Naira) or N250k (two hundred and fifty thousand Naira)?

The 25k is the estimated monthly income of my wife, she has a small biz, registered, but no tax payment yet..mine is over 300k, and i hv 3m plus in my acct...

The error was not stating that i hv a married sis in the uk,, am applying as tourist, thus. Not gonna stay with them...

IN THE ONLINE FORM THERE IS A PLACE AM ASKED, if i have ever been denied visa by any country, and state the date if yes.

my problem is..i was denied usa visa in 2010 btw aug and oct, cant remember the exact dates [though i have a valid usa visa now], so my question is what do i write since i cant remeber the exact date i was denied?

@JUSTWISE, NO..LAST time i was in the uk, i stayed 10days and came back...with 6 months visa, applied sometime later and was given 2yrs visa wch expired late 2013..............i was unable to use it, cos i got married and changed jobs. so this yr i intend to apply 6months for my wife and 2yrs for myself, writing a letter stating why i didnt use the last 2yrs visa, i hope am not wasting my money by applying for 2yrs again?.
