Ok thank you very much, I will try it out, I don't mind opening an account with them (after all I have already opened 5accounts with 5different banks all bcuz of pta, so I guess dis one will be making it the 6th) I just hope that I would not need to have been running d account for sometime.

I don't know the banks policy about pta, ie if you need to hv used the acct for 3months/6months etc..
only thing I know is that u hv a higher chance of getting.

2ndly learnt that this pta thing is branch specific......some branches don't give, while some give...........lagos and abuja brances hv a higher chance of giving.

HMMM..THEse questions about car rentals and driving in the usa is beginning to frighten me.
Pls while I may say that driving in the usa is easier than driving in naija...........it comes with its own special wahala.....
1. road signs/ speed limits/ traffic lights/going really slow on the speed lane etc......all are punishable offences in the usa, while in naija...its really not taken serious..

in naija I see some people really going quite slow, saying doing 35mph in the speed lane on the expressway...n when u r behind them...they refuse to either increase speed or go to the other lane....try this in the usa and u will be booked, a cop doesn't need to be there, the aggrieved party can simply inform the highway cops..

2ndly traffic offences come with a minimum 250 dollar ticket, and in some cases an entry might be made against your passport/visa..........

so I would advice all newbies to try driving under the supervision of an old hand for a few days b4 going out on your own.
then if you don't know/hvnt operated a maps app on ur phone b4..or a gps based navigation map...............then driving in usa would b a lot lot more difficult.........I would advice you simply do uber

WHAT BRANCH OF standard chartered was that?...from what I hv seen most front desk officers of most banks are clueless about this pta issue...
@poster asking how old the scb acct must be.....I don't really know, am an old acct holder..
but I opened in stanbic 2wks ago just to hv a plan b,.....will apply for pta in stanbic next wk.........fingers crossed, hope they don't pull the 6months old acct isshh

u may consider hedging ur bets...ie try 2k from scb and try the other 2k usd elsewhere..............ie prefund/request only 2k from standard chartered bank.......

yeah, the ncomella dude appears to be an unserious person, was really interested in the biz, but his lack of concise answers to serious enquires has turned me off.......

hv gone to their branch in sapele rd and akpakpava.....n was informed that they don't issue PTA to account holders...yeye banks.guess I will close my acct there and port to a bank that has the customers interest at heart...

hello mamas, it seems fcmb is the new kid on the block as per this PTA waka, can mamas throw more light?.....will b travelling mid may, thus I want to b sure of pta, opened savings acct with stanbic last wk....with all the stories am hearing abt stanbic not meeting up with deman, am thinking of opening another savings acct in fcmb........, I hope these banks wont say that my acct is too new/young?

Hello epsolar users in the house.
I hv 60amp epsolar mppt CC....noticed it never enter bulk charging state.....even when the batt was flat...it will still write boosting once sunlight comes.....i dont think this is normal....
Hv checked the settings and cant see where to tweak it.
Manual says bulk to boost to float....
Can some 1 throw more light on this

am not surppoting any doc or hospital, but my tak e is....you have been trying to concieeve for 4yrs plus.....n its assumed you hv visited various docs/hospital in the course of the 4yrs plus, and then age isnt also on ur side...assume the female is 33yrs plus.........no specialist ivf center would want to keep playing around doing tests,..n trying to boosting sperm.
its straight ivf sharp sharp!!!.

similar scenario played out for me when i went to georges lekki, was tired of doing tests, n nothing found to b the cause of the infertility, thus when the doc was advicing for ivf...i rush am with 2 hands,,,cos na ivf carry me go there.

same scenario will play out if you go to a non ivf specialist center........they fit do tests, n sperm boosting for 6months or more b4 either u urself will use style run...or they would advice u stylishly to try ivf...

@people that said doc emeka doesnt like money............could b true.

at georges...the docs stick to preparing u for ivf, and leave the money chasing/bill settling to the admin people....so even if u attempt to discuss money issues with the doc, you will b kindly refeered to the admin/accts people.....

Naira denominated credit card is charged at the normal rate which is currently above 280 but the benefit is higher daily limits
