Give biometrics: Watch for your Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL), then book an appointment at the VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Abuja or Lagos to capture your fingerprints and photo.

Submit passport: Wait for a final decision; if approved, submit your physical passport through VFS to get your visa foil.

Your family member there is your nephew or niece I believe, from your write up.
They are not a strong person to use as invitation.

Family invitation that makes sense like a sibling, or if your child is inviting you.

Just do a regular tourist/holiday application.
Tidy it up well. Your introduction letter should clearly state
1. Your strong ties to Nigeria (jobs, family, properties etc)
2. Your detailed daily itinerary for duration of stay (which can include a few days hanging out with friends in Canada)
3. State all countries you have been to, and show proof by adding (expired/current visa, visa stamp, pics of you in said countries)
4. Booked hotel proof. You can use booking.com, does not need payment till you get to Canada.
5. Breakdown of how much you intend to spend.

Again with a U.S. visa, you don’t need to provide an arm and a leg.

ok thanks, for clarifying that a niece doesnt make for a strong family Invitation. would approach it like i did schengen visa last year,,purely tourism, do my research on things to do/places to vissit etc, and strong mail from employer etc

I will advice you apply for just a holiday visit. We had the same profile when I applied last year. I kept my application simple. Didn’t tie it to anyone in Canada. Your valid US has done 60% of the work for you. Tidy up your application, show strong Nigerian ties, show your travel history. And apply for just a regular holiday. Use chatGPT to give you like a 1-2 week holiday itinerary. I don’t like involving family and friends/conference when I’m well qualified already

so you added a 3rd option -TOURIST, NOT TIED TO ANYONE IN CANADA, which i hvused succesfullly for uk and schengian, making the routes 3

1. conference
2. Invite from a relative living in canada
3. tourist/holiday.

so a quick questions, from the lil i read, i gleaned that the canadians value a tourist visa application more, if the applicant has relatives inviting him than if going for a conference or normal sight seeing... so my question is, is this true, if yes..what qualifies as relative, direct siblings, parents....what of cousins or nieces, do they carry same weight?

i have valid usa, uk visa...wch i hv used severally, did france, spain and italy last year as well, decent job here in naija and good savings + pay.
so i have a series of job related conferences i can use for my application, and i have nephews there as well...pls whats the best route for me to use in the application?

So far the panels are true 350w felicitysolar, how is he making a mistake? Or how many of us are using "tier 1" inverters? The only problem I am seeing is if the the panels are wrongly labelled

It also depends on what individuals want to achieve.
I decided to cut cost by going for 2 pcs of 350w Felicity panels instead of tier 1 panels. All the power the panels will generate will be channelled to charging of 12v 280ah battery bank only and nothing else. The stored energy in the battery is to be used only during the night to power minor loads and the discharge rate will still be based on what the pv will be able to put back the following day during the sun hours. There is a bigger system that work during the day.
Management course is what most of us are doing now.

alternatively do they accept/look at soft copies of the receipt at poe, cos thats the plan b. have someone forward the receipts via email

THERE IS NO BEST CLOSING acct balance, for a salaried person, they want to see regular inflows and outflows.

2ndly your salary and budget for trip must jive, you cant be earning 100k per month and then have a 10m naira closing balance, or budget 2m for a uk trip etc.

cover letter isnt cast in stone, nothing like sample cover letter. simple type a naration covering things/places that you feel need further elaboration in your application. eg your employer paid you the normal upfront or housing or christmas bonus.....you need to explain the anomaly in your bank statement, using the cover letter & any other thing you wish to explain more in detail

the flexi option isnt always available, during my time, it wasnt...i simply rebooked for the next day, though premuim lounge, as normal lounge wasnt available for next day booking

YES, YOU NEED AN EXISTING ACCOUNT WITH A BANK, MOST BANKS SAY THE ACCT MUST BE older than 6months. the application is done on the cbn trs website now...not tru bank. 2wks b4 your travel date

You could’ve told them your time is later than your arrival time, because I’m sure there was a mammoth crowd it there

Was this checked on CEAC webpage? I don't show anything on mine. When I checked the CEAC webpage, I only show "Application Received". But the "last updated date" is 5/14/2022. So, yours doesn't even show Issued or anything different?

They also sent an email as well.my status was passport ready for collection, it never showed visa issued....or perhaps it showed it the 5 days i didnt check

I am doing okay but DH and I can never forget, we still cry about it sometimes. It was especially difficult for me cos he was a spitting image of his father so i am reminded of it everyday.

We have been trying since december last year cos we had to wait for me to heal proper. I am getting worried and want to try out ivf cos our doctor placed me on clomid since january and still nothing. DH thinks its anxiety on my part but i dont buy that. Might i add that i will turn 42 in dec. I wish i came here much earlier but i had alot on my plate and i dont want to be too hard on myself. I've read all that has been posted here on BOOSTING EGG QUALITY and IMPROVING UTERUS HEALTH. I know that with age comes a decline in egg quantity and quality so i want to increase my chances by working on both BEQ and UH before the ivf procedure.

Based on your age, to boost egg quality should be a major point.
Ubiquinol+omega 3, dhea, the chinese tea, should be top on your list. Then folic acid.

U can add castor oil massage, and stop 2 or 3 wks b4 the procedure

Having a plan during ttc, helps a lot, gives focus and gives you something to do.

If you are willing, we can run tru the process with you. Eg

Tubes----- open or closed, when was your last hsg
Sperm----- good or poor, when was the last sfa and values.

Uterine linning---- good or poor, when was your last follicular tracking?, How thick was your linning
Ovulation-----+ do you ovulate normally?, What is your cycle length.

Etc
