this is just appaling, no provision for elctricity, so how did they manage to write when it got dark?, cos the test started at 5.30pm.

n in my center in ph, some people came from oweeri, and other neighbouring states, how wud dey get home that night, the exam finished by 7pm and a massive traffic jam occured as peeps tried to leave the venue

the test na secondary school physics and chemistry o, in the genral engineering test,
questions like the size of a nucleus.
n u were given options.

were u allowed to use calculator in ur hall, we were not o, n some of the calculations obviously needed calculators!!!!

the people no try at all.they wud hv left the whole process 2 phillips consulting, instaed of the fiasco that happened yesterday, the test started by 5.25pm.finished abt 7pm, n in my hall there was no light!!!,
this is just an example of y nigeria is backward,

we lack common sense/organisation, whats the big deal in organising a test?, im ph, some people didnt hv halls 2 write!, so was nnpc sleeping when it invited dem?, why cudnt they hv chked the hall/classroom spaces b4 the exam day to ensure that its adequate

i didnt say u needed 1.5m  to apply, wat i meant is that having such an amt makes  ur  case  easier/better, u can apply with 400k in ur acct, it depends  on a lot of factors, its if ur case is weak, then  hving a good income/huge savings  in ur  acct  can swing the case in ur favour!!!

the £100/day hotel, its inclusive  food, 3 meals/day, from my research  most budget hotels  are  abt £50/day  n u get only breakfast  in some  cases.

i know of some1  who applied   with only 300k  in  his  acct.n he succeded, but  his  salary  is  above  500k/month  and  more  than  8 million  has  moved in his  acct statement, that he used  to apply,  also  he  has  a property/title  deed  he included, so all these  play  a role

2moro  he wud  come  and  blab  that  he applied  with  300k in his acct  n  succeded,, some  fools wud  believe  him  without  getting  to  know  the  real  story/facts

all this cr,ap abt hotel booking and list of the places u wanna vidit/booking tours, no follow o,
its if ur case is weak that they start looking 4 excuses not to give u visa,

i applied as tourist, and i didnt attach nada of wht or where i wud be going/doing in the uk, even the point of entry official asked me what i came to do.i told him am on vacation, shopping looking around etc,

the main point is cash, how much cash do u hv in ur account/assets to show?
a tourist is supzd to have money 2 spend, so u cant hv anything below 1.5m and expect to succed as a tourist, and ur income shud be at least 250k/month

the average hotel in uk with meals is abt £100/day, multiply it by 14days, thats abt 400k alone plus flight then u r looking at abt 600k, then as a tourist u shud hv not less than £800 to spend , so when u calc all this its close to 800k!!!, and note the uk peeps aint fools.they dont expect u 2 hv 1m in ur acct and then blow 800k on a vacation, it gets worse if ur salary is abt 100k to 150k,

so my bros n sis, this is part of the problem

also this issue of blabbing abt the hotel booking and cancelling thingy every where online aint smart, these uk peeps are4 smart, they hv officials dedicated to surfing the net and finding out the latest scheme/method peeps like u n me blab abt on the net!!!!.
nairaland is a popular naija site, i bet the uk internet peeps come here too!!
