While I get his 'point', it's highly disrespectful to compare the hardwork actors (Nollywood or not) actually put in on-set to some ladies, albeit professional, shaking their bombom in front of the camera.

Now, what your dream means is this... The first part of the dream helps interpret the second part of the dream fully.



The first part where you were disgraced is telling you of sexual temptations that is coming your way.. Or one particular sexual temptation coming your way already... Hi.

I had a dream that I was seated and someone placed his two hands on the sides of my head. From the voice, I could tell it was a man, though I didn't see him 'cos he stood at my back. He said 'there are dangers of builders on your head' and then, he blew air on my head and it felt like a wind or something and it felt like a scalp was being removed or so from my head. I woke up and barely could move my limbs for many seconds and then, later they felt movable.

I am not filled with fear per se, so, I am almost sure it's from God. I just don't really understand the dream or how I should follow it up.

He was TRYING to be sarcastic but he still didn't do it successfully. It just came out like the rants of a clueless person who is trying to be funny. Nonetheless, na wa for the reactions nairalanders. Sarcasm isn't our strong point to be honest.

And the issue at hand is too sensitive (in my opinion) to take the sarcasm route when you don't actually have the skills.

Yea I dig but lets see it from this perspective. What if a genuine lover of God, a Christian by the word Christian that decides to be a lone ranger in the kingdom race not those using excuses to boycott going to church.

May be he or she has seen so much wrongs going on which may distort his own belief system and decided to be a lone ranger. Cool or wrong?

The two emboldened parts of your post are actually contradictory. A TRUE lover of God will be interested in growing in the Christian race and the same word of God says iron sharpeneth iron. The truth is no one knows it all. Assuming you even 'know what you think is sufficient enough' for the race, the burning passion to work in any capacity in the house of your Father (God) will make you join a true Christian gathering, usually a church or a fellowship.

And sometimes in life, even as Christians, we stumble due to few obstacles and sometimes battle with temptations; it is those brethren we have surrounded ourselves with that will be used by God to uphold us. No one is an island in this race.

'Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren'...

Many Nigerian lecturers in Nigerian tertiary institutions are not qualified to teach students.
A qualified lecturer must be certified to teach.
Majority of these lecturers are not certified.

Bro, forget the issue of certification to teach now. They should even be qualified sef just as human beings with true passion to communicate knowledge effectively and advance research on their field of study (and not because of trying to quicken promotion) is just enough.

Let's focus on what matters please.

My 2 cents will be people who have the chance (via Class of Degree or money-wise) should try going abroad for Masters and other post graduate studies. There is an amount of exposure and ideology-shift one gets, especially if you go to the right school.

Because sometimes, to improve the system requires thinking outside the box and being stuck in the usual naija cycle of academics MAY not be the best option. Nonetheless, many of the lecturers that taught me in my undergraduate claimed to have gotten one degree or another abroad but their thinking is still the same , at least judging from the way they acted towards their students or treated the act of teaching itself. It is not about coming back to Nigeria with one funny accent.

I am currently doing my Masters abroad and though don't intend lecturing, it surprises me how someone will spend two years where I am and still think in the same way for Christ's sake: that teaching your students is doing them a favour whereas they paid school fees for crying out loud! That you must just write a research paper to quicken promotion whereas it advances nothing in your field of study! That your title (PhD / Prof) is more important than acquiring knowledge itself and effectively communicating it to students! That putting unnecessary fear in your students equals true respect (dear, ask what they say behind your back )!

If some future lecturers are in this thread, please, if you are not ready to stand out for a positive difference (because Nigerian education is at the verge of collapse if you don't know), just pray and work hard for an office job than destroy the innocent lives that may be committed to your hands. Thank you.
