OpYzo: this our economy is so bad and only strong trust in God can help, I also went for my first interview on monday, was asked to come collect offer letter today, I went only for them to tell me how intelligent I am and they know the job wont be worth it but they want someone like me... they concluded by saying theu added 5k extra cos of my potential...the monthly salary is 35k. it was far below wot I was xpecting cos as a corper dats passing out tomoro, I was even saying 50k il take d job now I dnt even know if I shld take it or not so Confused. Wow! I admire your timing. Getting a job (even if it's not the dream one) just before POP. Congrats. My advice? Take the job. Though I would like to ask if this job or rather, the experience on this job would be relevant in the career path you see for yourself in the long run. You can as well take the job on the basis of 'doing something for now' while you continue hunting for a better one. Be happy they kinda appreciate your value sef. I know someone who after spending months at home got a job where less than the amount you stated is paid. Congrats on finishing your NYSC. I wish you the best in life endeavours. I am still serving btw... 2014 Batch A. |

mcpat: From last years thread the second test consisted of a decision making test and a numerical test, your results are collated; if it reaches the benchmark score you are sent the "success mail".. Applicants are called for phone interviews starting with does with the highest marks.. You might still recieve a reject mail later on if more people eventually surpass your score... Reading the last year thread wont do u any harm Hmmmm...lots of info here. Thanks. |

safarigirl: But this nomination pain Tayo die. Going on about none of the housemates being his match Nd all that.
Nigga is pained. He must feel slighted, it's one thing to nominate him, but to nominate his friends too must strike him as some calculated attempt to bring him down.
Too bad people must leave, i'll take pleasure knowing bug eyes is out come Sunday and if Lillian goes, Laveda must get out with her. I do agree dude must chill, I can see his pain. Too much of an open book.
The smartest man is one who doesn't let his rivals see his pain, he's not being very smart now Now you're seeing what I am seeing. I wish him the best as per naija housemate, but I doubt if Nigeria fit win this BBA oh. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Can We End Unemployment In The Country by sholay2011(m): 11:18pm On Oct 13, 2014 |
podosci: I did a research ones on entrepreneurship and found out that in developing countries like Nigeria we practise marginal entrepreneurship( taxi drivers, akara seller, barbers).....and this contributes little or nothing to the overall economy and practical does not affect the employment ratio of a country because hoe many persons can a taxi driver employ?.......and again majority of new busineses fail leading the person to more problems than where they started.....enterpreneuship alone cannot solve our unemployment crises......we need Govt to creat policies that would generate a suitable environment for propective entrepreneurs policies like placing a ban on the importation of consumers goods, increasing import duties on imported goods to encourage and give an edge to indiginious companies .....But the problems is we have been ruled by succesive Idiots since 1960 who are more concerned with hw much they can embezzle than how far they can develope the country......in short a revolution by the youths to route out those greedy old politicians and reign in years of good governance Nice post. |

I just saw this fantastic thriller at the cinemas and I was blown away. Kudos to David Fincher and a perfect ensemble cast.
Ben Affleck, who is actually a better director than an actor surprised me with his solid performance here; but it's an unknown actress (Rosamund Pike), who plays his wife that steals the show. Her character's arc is stunning and many viewers (who haven't read the book) wouldn't see some stuffs coming.
Tyler Perry was surprisingly good in his role, amongst a talented supporting cast.
I predict this movie to be one of the Best Picture nominees at 2015 Oscars and also, Rosamund Pike for Best Actress. A supporting nom could go to any of the wonderful supporting actresses in this wonderful movie.
For now, this is my favourite movie of 2014, closely followed by X-Men: DOFP. I recommend it. |
