morsadh: You write very lovely shorts-very straightforward. Would have to agree though with the others. This may not be horror. Maybe thriller is the right genre for this. Would love to see your works on screen. Thanks bro. I appreciate your feedback. Well, I am writing a feature film script currently. If you have Kunle Afolayan's no, abeg pm me. |

COOLCATS: News have it that some peeps will be resuming December . Some technical guys were also called for commercial roles . Am thinking its about cgpa . If only those contacted can come here and share info and perhaps those on here already can tell us if they had above 4.0. Aunty, my application is still under review and my CGPA is quite high, and I applied for a commercial role....and I uploaded my transcript. 'Wouldn't want to ascribe it to luck now but those whose application have progressed should thank God...or whatever they worship....lol. |

This one no be cotana things joor I still think this is possible, regardless of however the game seems right now. Tbh, I don't mind Idris winning. If it's also Tayo, no problem. But I doubt Ella winning, even though she looks like a very strong contender for now. |

dotman2460: Not sure how far away your location(ogba) is to the US Embassy, considering other likely constraints, you are better off staying at a nearby hotel. Do not mind the cost, when you get your visa, you immediately forget whatever cost.
Search for Peerage Hotel (the most affordable for me) on Jovago(make sure you go through here). Tell them that you'll need a car/driver to take you to US embassy latest 5:30am, less than 3 mins drive to the embassy.
And if your choice is Eko Hotel, bros rooms plenty.... LOL...jk
P.S. I do not know Peerage or Jovago from Adam. Hmmmmmmmmm....thanks bro. |

Pls, I want to seek expert advice here. My interview holds later this month in Lagos. Time slated is 6:30 a.m. I stay at Ogba, Ikeja.
Is it advisable I leave (probably with a taxi) that morning (say like 5.00 am) and get to embassy before or by 6:30, considering distance, traffic etc? The day is Wednesday. Also, does the interview exactly start by the 6:30 am or it's just 'formality'?
PS: I am not a lagosian. Just came here for my nysc and dunno much about how the whole Island and traffic thing work.
An adequate reply or advice would be appreciated. |

P.S Your short stories seem to lean on Suspense/Thriller Genre. Am I correct? Loool. Thanks very much. I'm glad people can still read these scripts and find them thrilling. Well, I write suspense, thriller and other genres, so far I can create characters that I am passionate about. You can also go through my other short film scripts such as 'Piece of Mind ' (comedy), 'Evil Genius' (drama), and 'Nigerian Horror Story' (Thriller). I appreciate your comment. |

belabela: You speak Nigerian English in your company....fair enough. The earlier you focus on the fundamental skills required the better for your company. There are a growing number of Chinese companies in Nigeria where workers have little understanding of English language, yet they deliver on the job . In the UK there are many EU workers who cannot speak English yet they deliver on their job.
My point is language is a means of communication. As long as she's communicating that's fine. let's not idolize a foreign language as if without learning it life stops Best comment on this thread. And thanks to the person that corrected the OP. |
