I doubt our population figure of 193million in this country. I alone posses 4 sim cards and I know there are millons of people who own 2 or 3 sim cards also. When you consider that the average 13/14 yr old owns a phone(1 sim at least), it is hard to imagine 193 million people in this small space. |

Performing the flag-off at Wuna village, a rural community in Gwagwalada, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Osinbajo said it had become imperative to provide alternative power sources that would be off the national grip to power the rural communities in the country, noting that it was not possible to connect every village and community to the national grid. Going by the underlined, there should be provision for people like Nnaji who have generated large amount of power to sell directly to industrial estates since all communities (industrial estates inclusive) can't be linked to the ever regressing national grid. |

Funlordmania: What is wrong with you? So when buhari and el rufai gave executive orders to slaughter and jail those barbaric zakzaky led shiite terrorists that have been killing and oppressing young nigerians like you in zaria and kaduna for years they were catholics then I guess?
And there were no attacks from herdsmen during obasanjo or yaradua or ebeles time I'm sure? It just began in 2015 in the history of nigeria it seems? There really is no need engaging a confused child such as yourself! Good luck with your hate and myopic views! Are you saying Buratai contacted Buhari/El Rufai before defending himself against the shi'ites members? |

owobokiri: The refinery is being built by the CBN. That is just the truth. Go and investigate. . They are just using their Lagos-Ibadam expressway media megaphone houses to paint a different picture.. CBN is directly injecting billions of dollars into this project while at the same time selling dollars at extremely low price to Dangotes other businesses. If the CBN has decided to do the work of a commercial bank, it should spread the gesture to all business men and not to a tiny few that cant do anything without the state pampering them all the way.. You may be right but there is nothing CBN is subsidizing for Dangote today that it won't get back in double when the refinery starts operation? It will save us forex of about $400m/month that normally goes to fuel importers. Create jobs, stop capital flight, and steadily grow the economy. It will also help local refinery sit up. |

Suleiman is truly deep poo.
If this is true, it is only by Gods grace that Nigeria will avoid a war and it will forever be on record of history that one Apostle John Suleiman was the provocateur.
Even though the herdsmen has had their cups filled to the brim and the FG did not help matters with it's docile approach to the potentially dangerous issue, Apostle John Suleiman -a leader of a church with thousands of followers and a worldwide reach- will have landed himself on the wrong side of history by allowing his emotions betray him live on television.
Those illiterates calling for the head of elrufai for his 2012 (4years Ago) tweet that had no direct influece on the present should ask what happened to Ahmadenijad of Iran when he said if a single Iranian is killed, lots of American lifes will follow. NOTHING happened to him. It is one thing to threaten your unknown potential enemy -Nobody in particular- but to instruct/direct/command the killing of a known but perceived enemy -Particularly Fulani herdsmen- is another thing especially in a state that has a constitution.
For the clearance of doubt, calling for a group of people to be killed at sight is not self defence.
It is an invitation to anarchy. A clear declaration of war
With the recent developments I can't but remember the prediction of one Apostle Olabayo or Olubayo few years back that Boko Haram will be defeated but a more deadly group will arise if care is not taken. Are you okay? What has suleiman got to do with this? When did he make his statement and when did the herdsmen go missing? |

RadicallyBlunt: That canada guy saying its a cheap perfect score, he himself must be a cheap perfect fool. I don't know why Nigerians write themselves off in all aspect, in economics, we're worse, in political stability same. Now in spite of all the unfavourable condition in the country, someone in a federal uni(not private o) came out with such a beautiful grade and still faces condemnation. The perfect fool even went as far as comparing Nigerian educational condition to western educational system...isnt that the height of mumuness? Western world where conditions are favourable and a phD candidate gets his degree in just 3years. Infact an intelligent student who cant have it all in grades over there must be an unserious element.
The same way the best jamb candidate in year 2011 (a girl from ondo state) was criticised before the jamb registrar defended her result. The fact is that we have talents in this country and we even see them manifestiñg in diaspora. In spite of the harsh conditions nigerians are facing in d nation, talents still emerge
The only reasonable criticism for a girl like this is if she did not sex her way thru the lecturers or use a pamperable girlish attitude to win marks easily. But from what i see in d pic, only the later might be possible, the former isnt likely to have happened. Private is harder than federal . . . |

For me i feel the price of petrol should come down to N60 diesel N80 and kerosene N40 per litre. The current system of fuel distribution involve too many middlemen cabal. Petrol could sell for around N100 when Dangote is ready. |

If by now you haven't learnt that CBNs intervention is only worsening the situation, then I don't know whether you have any reasoning skills whatsoever.
CBN alone cannot control the rates. Nigeria needs to partner with foreign investors and recreate the bustling economy we had before. Only investments can help oursitutation and foreign investors will never sink their money into a manipulated economy. CBN has been intervening for ages so stop yarning what u don't know. Between 2002 and 2014 - a 12 years period - $217bn was used for this same intervention. Research it. |
