Fhemmmy: Yes, i am only saying it is a good school, not about their requirement . . . Only saying it worth the money as long as the student is able to meet their requirement, know what i mean?...u carry point for pocket....if dem giv her admission and she secure visa....when she reach here...she fit bone the school find better place...lol ... |
Fhemmmy: I think it is worth the money and the trouble, and Vancouver's weather is not bad at all too . . . Good luckBaba...without GMAT for MBA...the school no set oo...GMAT is like a standard requirement for MBA oooo...check top schools out...and u know the MBA job market na where u graduate those Bay Street guys dey look for ....cos dem all go through same Professors... |
lovesavvi: @mr siga, i av HND in physics/electronics,what is my chance of getting admission 2 humber 2 study wireless telecomunication?...bro...u can qualify for the PGD.... u have the needed requirements... http://www.humber.ca/program/wireless-telecommunications#admission-requirements ....if not sure...call the International office or the Program Coordinator...he has the final say.... |
francspencer: @siga, You studied wireless telecoms at humber college, how was the course at the school and how would you rate job opportunities in this field in Canada?, Though i have applied to that same school and the same course, at the moment, am waiting for medical call, my application got to CDHC 31/08/12. Thanks...the course is not bad....nice teachers there....during my course, there were job offers from Telecomms companies....but they mainly want guys with a bit of experience from previous jobs in that line....some of my classmates got jobs even before we finished...I got mine a month after....I still work with the same company....and they are guys that I know took awhile to get a job in that field....some went for Masters, some got jobs in other field related to their first degrees...if u make it here which I pray u do....I may be of help when the time comes to look for a job.... |
adim02: @siga sorry for bordering you so much, why i am saying that cos am 32y now by next year 33y will CDHC grant Visa for me to go for underg....why not look for a 2yr diploma or certificate prog from a reputable college and that will be in lieu of going for ur Masters....just a tot |
kenniy: funny..everything I see, read and think indicates I should be alright with my application..yet I panic like no man's business..all cos of the uncertainty of the CDHC..may God SWT deliver us all..(**sorry..just need to burst out that mini-rant**)....Bro...its ok to panic...that means u are human....no shaking...wat is urs will always be urs...trust me...relax and wait on God to manipulate the VO to grant u ur wishes |
adim02: thanks once again i plans for Human Resources Management. Please you can list some university for me.I hope if my head should write leave of absence should be granted by CDHC.3 is there any master prog.in canada that can accept 2.2.thanksAh, bros...U may have to throw this into the house for anyone to help give any school that may accept 2.2 ...I have no idea... Human Resources Management I believe is run in most colleges....universities may have it as a major under a prog.... |
johnsonerhis: @siga does it mean his chances are very slim? Cos he already applied with d earlier infooh ....ok...tell him not to panic....ensure he secures the scholarship on time....the VO may ask for the full approval...if they do, thats good news cos that means they need to see that before approval....or he can mail it in if he gets it and no news yet from VO....he is in good hands man... |
adim02: @Siga leave of absense letter from my work place is not a problem for me to get?I dont have a landed property to include just the money is in my account right now,cos is my salaries account.2can you please mention some universities in Canada that can accept 2.2class.or whats your advise. Please i dont wont to be denial by the cdhcWat is ur prog of choice....some universities will accept some courses on ur transcript and exempt u from taking them...which might make ur undergrad program faster...PGD wont mind depending on wat prog.... |
johnsonerhis: @siga pls kindly advise. I have a friend who applied to vac under a scholarship letter from his state scholarship board and d letter states as follows: 1. Introducing him as an indigen of his state 2. Dat d oversea scholarship scheme exists in d state 3.d value is 3m per section 4. Dat he applied for scholarship and his application is still bn processed 5. De should give him all necessary assistance. Pls does my friend have a chance?..I will advise your friend to press harder to secure the scholarship fully....this will boost his chances big time....tell him not to rush...chill, wait for the full approval of the scholarship, then apply....remember, the key is to do it once and do it right...no need to rush...Canada no dey run go anywhere... |
@adim02 ....Gat u....masters prog in some schools are even cheaper....if u dont mind....how long ago did u finish ur degree...PGD is expensive....can be as high as $12,000 my bro....that alone is almost N1.9m ....but u know wat...if u have landed properties and investments...it may help...will u be able to get a leave of absense letter from your work? |
adim02: @siga,@fhemmy you people are doing great job here. Please i have 1 problem that is boarding me as aready to apply for admission to any of the Canadian colleges or universities.1 i have a cash of 4.5million in my account right now, which mean self sponsor.will it be enough to pursue a post graduate diploma .2should i right a letter back up with affidavit when submitting to CDHC that am sponsoring my self as am a civil servant who work with one of the ministry in delta state. Please i need your advice other please can contribute .Thanks...well...colleges for international students can be expensive....ranging from $6000 to over $10,000....and this is not including accommodation and living expenses...I will advise u get a co-sponsor... |
imadebaby: Hi oga siga dis is my email e_madng@yahoo.com. Pls send me a mail. Expectin ur mailnoshaking2012@gmail.com |
spencer3705: @siga,i saw ur post where u stated students were been issued one month single entry visa?....Bro...I really appreciate ur input........I am not a PR BTW...I am a citizen...I dont think I need to prove anything to u...tx...but please be very humble as u come to Canada.... |
Fhemmmy: That is cos some private schools are nothing but fraud, some are set up just to siphon money and govt closes them down most of the times. . .I will advice more people too to apply to the public more accredited colleges or university rather than those private ones.....Trust me...the one I used to get to Canada was closed down cos of fraud and tax evasion....the place na only one floor in a building and when u see dem website back then and dem brochure...u go think say na the biggest campus...lol...it almost got us all deported...we had to quickly apply to Humber College to cover our a$$ back then....guys need to stop applying to all these Private Colleges....P.S...all these VO knw now and they have zero respect for students applying to those schools....guys remember...ur documents and application is representing u...make sure it represents u very well...put urself in the VO`s shoes...would u issue visa to someone that submits same docs and application u are submitting...infact...seek a close friend, Dad or mum to access and see if wat u are presenting is convincing and ask them to give u their 100% opinion...some applications are so bogus and so easy to deny as killing a bug on the wall.... |
surecan: Yes the programme is related, and do you think he should submit the wife account too making it 3 sponsors or him and the company is ok,can you reply my mail sent to you since yesterdayhe need not use his wife as sponsor...I believe its just to support his application to show his wife has a job and can support herself and kid while he is gone...I had my mail wrong yesterday....its noshaking2012@gmail.com...can u send it again |
surecan: His salary after deductions shows about 250k but more than 350k on pay slip, and mainly is his company that want to sponsor him but he don't want issue with sponsor not credible so he intend to be the sponsor while the company will be the co sponsor, the wife work,i don't think she pays tax oo,and her statement of account may not be run properly but she have up to 500k in the account. He also have properties that wort about 4.5 million. He dont have a personal company. thanks..If u dont mind me asking...this is sounding more like u are the applicant we dey talk about here...moving on....if his company is the co-sponsor...thats fine...the prog he is going for...is it related to wat he is doing now? |
surecan: Please house,a friend want to go for 2 years pg diploma programme and he is a self sponsored with one wife and one child, and the wife is working, both wife and children are not going with him now,and he have 4 million in his account, then tuition fees is 11k dollars, can he use this to apply for visa.Thank you... Yes...no prob at all... the tuition is around N1.8m....now, it will be nice if he can pay at least $7,000 ...that alone puts him in a better situation to present his case....now, advise that he puts his wife's job letter, bank acct ....this is to show that he has enough support besides wat he has personally....also, tell him to ask put in all his tax returns papers...and write a letter indicating his business will keep running while he is gone...that his wife will be in charge....that with his family sitting back creates a tie to Naija....how much cash flow monthly? |
surecan: @Siga,i expected your suggestion on my former question pls...My bad...can u post it again...I beg no vex... |
@lovesavvi ....If you decide to change school, please make sure there is a flow from wat u are now with wat u plan to be....I did Electrical and came for IT....for u...physics/electronics....there is a Post Graduate course I did at Humber College ...Wireless Telecommunications...I did it, its a 2 semester course and I got a work permit after...if u are interested...u may look into that....Now...if u choose to go this route...u need to write a convincing letter on why u changed ur program and school...its a tough nut to crack ...God dey...keep in mind...wherever God promises u will get to in life...nothing can shake it...I was once refused British Study Visa and refused Canadian Visa (one in Naija and one when I was in canada)...but today...I am a citizen...I have a friend that was denied 3 times for naija...we did the visa wahala together back then...and 4 yrs later...they approved his PR...so, dont panic...keep moving... |
@ TRV_IJN ....Stouffville is an Accredited Private college....I never said its not accredited, all I said was its not on the same level as other colleges, like Seneca, Humber or George Brown...the fact that u cant work after even 6months of full studies says it all....sidebar...the city Stouffville is where we go buy cars at auction...@ Fhemmmy ...thats the only big thing happening there...now, I have experienced situations where a visa officer told me change my school from a private college to a reputable college to get my multiple visa...theis was when I was a student trying to apply for multiple visa and was denied by the Canadian embassy at Buffalo....please correct me if I am wrong...@lovesavvi ...I dont really have an expert opinion here....U can still reapply, but u have to present ur case better....also, when u reapply with same or different school....try to pay at least 50% of the tuition...that helps too.... |
@lovesavvi...my bad...was out and i just got home...I read thru what the wrote....I must honestly say #1. The college you applied to is a sub-standard college... #2. The course you apply to is not related to your background....ignore the fact that you work in business now...#3. A professional course is not something u get a study visa for easily....keep in mind Canada has enough Accountants....in the case of sufficient funds....the balance is not an issue, its the cash flow that matters....I must ask....did u write a well detailed supporting letter about urself ? .... all these thinny details matter....for instance, when I applied for mine and used a family friend....I claimed he is my cousin and he wants to open a Cybercafe and wants me to be incharge.....and as an Electrical Engr...I came here for IT....so , u see the flow...I will brief you further as soon as I wake up in the morning.... |

imadebaby: Oga siga good day hows ur wknd goin. I ve a bsc bankin n finance and have four yrs bankin experience like i told u. If i get acceptance letter for sustainable energy development do i stand a chance of gettin a trv..First of all...I am absolutely in NO position to tell you who will be given a visa or not....Can u believe a Police friend of mine went to the same embassy....applied for a visiting visa to Canada on a virgin passport...told the interviewer he wants to come to Canada to see how it looks and the white man gave him 6 months multiple with a bank statement of next to nothing....he attributed it to his Olusho for Cele wey hin dey go....But I am a realist...I believe in prayers and destiny...the guy is here now...and infact...he has is PR...Now, sorry for the story....If you can prove or find a link to what you are doing now...u may be able to convince whoever handles ur file...plus I believe this can be an added degree with MBA....for anyone interested.... http://www.ucalgary.ca/pubs/calendar/grad/current/sustainable-energy-development-sedv.html |
cris83: @ yungokus, @ siga..thank you very much for your advice sirs...i will kip searching for d right college to pursue my postgraduate diploma...thank you...http://www.gr.cal.dal.ca/ENVI.htm or http://www.gr.cal.dal.ca/ERTH.htm ...check those two links out...Dalhousie Uni is one of the best in North America...this may interest u...its in Halifax... |
yungokus: I don't want to blive he can't delve into HR... Any course of study can delve into HR... HR is similar to doing MBA which u are allowed to do regardless of your course of study @ post secondary level... Am a CIPM certificate holder.. And u need to see a lot of people doing it regardless the course u studied.. Its a general program for everyone.. Its not restricted to a line of study.....U have a point...Its a free world...he asked for my opinion and I gave it to him with a better option....he can decide watever he feels like... |
Don Cipher: @Pauloman, @Siga thanks i appreciate your urgent responses. Please i would be studying in New Brunswick come Winter 2013, and hope to apply for PR in another province (Sask, BC or Alberta) during my studies. Is this posible and what do you advice?...if by applying to other province u mean doing the Provincial Nominee thingy? Then its possible only if u meet the criterials set for the purpose....Again....if u skool for NB...u dey fine , cos u fit apply for ur PR after skool now...why move around? |
