...April is not too early....they only thing is that ur anxiety level fit giv u heart attack....they migh tnot touch ur file till June or July as they always focus on Due Dates....but if u are sure u wont be checking everytime....and if all docs are ready and nice...send it in ....

I ask this questn cos sum friends say cost of living in toronto is expensive and d place over populated. Dt jobs are nt easy to come by. They also say dt BC, alberta , sask are easier 4 an immigrant than Toronto.
I need ur view on the above.

...Ur friends are on point...Toronto is quite filled up and the cost of living is not cheap....but u know this saying in Yoruba..."if u pound yam inside peanut shell, whoever go belle full go belle full"...lol...though jobs are hard to come by, but u have to be in the right field...IT is not bad....now with immigration...Saska, Manitoba and some cold a$$ places are better...they have very good PNP and its pretty fast...but once u get it...u are stuck in that zone for 3yrs till u chop ur Canadian Pali and u can move anywhere ....so, thats my take....calcu wella!!!

...If u are given a month single entry study visa which is wat Canada gives anywayz...it means u have to travel to Canada within that one month...for example...if ur visa was issued lets say Nov 1 and Expiry shows Nov 30....this means, u can still leave naija Nov 29 midnight, just make sure u step in front of Canadian immigration officer no later than Nov 29 @ 11:59pm....lol.....once u get here...ur visa will be voided and u get a Study permit that runs through your program....now, if u want to leave Canada at anytime...u will have to apply outside Canada...people mostly send their applications to Canadian embassies in US....my experience...I sent mine to Buffalo back then and was asked to come for an interview at the Canadian embassy....to do this I had to apply for a US visa which I was denied and this made the Canadian Embassy at Buffalo to deny my Multiple Entry Visa and bro...I stayed put for Canada till I finished school, got a job a month after then applied for PR through the Skilled Worker thingy....

...My friend....I was in the same situation as you over 10yrs ago when I went for my visa interview....and I must tell u i was refused at first and was interviewed by a Nigerian.....I went back a month after the refusal and was interviewed by a white guy and I was given the visa....I used a family friend as my sponsor, but I stated he is my cousin from my mother side and I wrote a letter stating that my mother raised him when his mother couldn't.....I said he made a promise to my mother when he graduated University to take care of me....and he also wrote a similar letter stating his promises and asked the embassy to help actualise this promise and be part of the success story....omo...na so we write am oooo...and funny enough...the white guy asked me about this...and omo boy don prepare story...I talk so tey the guy gave me visa...mind u...I claimed I worked in his company...made tax return receipts of 5yrs and few documents...I dont know how it is now...but I didnt go with more than 10 documents and letters....I hope this helps...someone in the house may have a better option....

1. Yes, all major embassies share information/results, all they require is your Passport number to get it.

2. Refusal from US embassy shall not affect your case with Canadian embassy (still VO would love to know the reason behind your refusal)...

Well these are some of the answers i found while researching about people in Similar cases. u jst have to apply to canada with a strong profile and leave all into God hand's i guess.

Actually the IMM 1294 has been changed recently since august 2012 with the same content.
However before that it says have you ever been refused admission,or oredered to leave canada or other country. There is no refused visa mentioned in the old version of form IMM 1294

so i guess @shavel never came across that ..

.....My brother....do due diligence...the upright and write a well detailed letter to back up the reason for the US visa refusal....these guys are humans, they read through your letters better than few lines on your application....Make sure you have all your documents packaged well...it is well...

In 2007 , I applied again and got 1 year visa, went to the u.s, spent 6 months over there never over stayed and came back home. i decided to take a trip to belize in 2009 for a visit went to belize and decided to apply for a U.S student visa was denied and the reason was you were unable to demonstrate sufficiently strong economic , educational, family and or social linkages to belize that would compel you to return after your travel to the united states.. and i agree with that cuz i was only on a one month visitor's visa when i applied at that time but now I'M resident of this country and have all ties that links me to this place, But My Question I have a new passport now and I have decided to apply for college in canada , In the BACKGROUND INFORMATION "Have you ever been refused a visa, admission, or ordered to leave Canada or other countries? how should i answer this cause im worried if l answer with a yes i might be refused my study permit.. !? what do y'all suggest i do.. !? i need everyone thought on this..! plz sha! what advice do you have for brother oh ! P.S i have good travel history and never over stayed or got into any trouble, or over stayed my visa for any country!

.....Tell them the truth, Canada and US share database cause of all these terrorist wahala....they run your name through same DB....if your name comes up you have applied before to US, denied and you lied....forget both sides forever.....your US denial is not something that Canada will deny you visa over....so far you show you are financially capable of taking care of yourself and present all necessary docs....you should be fine....I have a friend that was denied Canadian Study visa 3 times and guess what...he applied for Permanent Residency and he was given....so...no shaking my guy...
