GOV WIKE ORDERS CLOSURE OF CREEK ROAD, BONNY-BILLE JETTYThe Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has reaffirmed the closure of Creek road in Port Harcourt to vehicular and human traffic beginning from midnight on Monday 4th of January to Saturday 9th January, 2021. Governor Wike has also barred boat operators from using the Bonny -Bille Jetty during the same period. He stated this during inspection of the multi-million Naira ultra modern Bonny-Bille jetty on Sunday. Governor Wike bemoaned the conversion of the dualised Creek road to market by traders and the filthiness of the Bonny-Bille jetty that is due for commissioning this Saturday. The governor while addressing residents of the Bonny-Bille waterfront, explained that the State government will from Monday midnight close Creek road and temporarily shutdown the jetty for a thorough sanitation of the area. Governor Wike , sternly warned that any trader or boat operator who dare to conduct any form of business along Creek road and the jetty, will face the full wrath of the law. The governor further ordered the removal of all vehicles parked at the jetty and its surrounding environs. He directed law enforcement agencies to ensure that the temporary closure of Creek road and the Bonny-Bille, is enforced. NewLogicalMind: You people like telling one-sided stories.
Deep in his heart your colleague actually had no real intention of repaying the loan.
So you want them to ignore all the people owing 10K...do you have any idea how much that will be and the loss it will cause them? stupid people like you shouldn't quote me on this platform, you haven't read from me that the young man had no intention to pay back the money, moreover the things was roughly and salary was delayed. The lone in was two weeks over due, and were communicating with the so-called sokolone assuring them that he will pay. |

Palmerbarry: Dear Sokoloan, I will be in my best behaviour while posting this.
I applied for a loan a month back which I didn't repay in time. I got a call from an extremely rude official 5 days after I received the loan. She informed me that payment is due and I should do that immediately. I tried to be friendly but she wasn't. I asked if I could pay part but she arrogantly declined. The next day I got a call from her again with insults this time. I told her she's not professional with her work and that made her worse. She threatened to disgrace me in the worst way ever (via SMS). My phone got stolen that night. A day after she sent the most devastating message ever to all my contacts. How she got access to them still surprises me. In her message, she said I'm a wanted criminal on the run with company funds. I got tons of messages on Facebook and missed calls and messages on my other line - my former employers, course mates, lecturers, neighbors, family, besties, other influential people. I was really mad! I had over 300 contacts for Christ sake. I called her immediately to send a convincing message to my contacts. She was adamant and continued with her insult, I fired back not minding her age. I threatened to take the case to court, but I was financially down at that moment. My sister called her immediately she got one of her text and they ended up insulting eachother. I called her some days after, she was a bit calm, and I asked if she would resend another SMS and make everything transparent to my contacts. She said once the payment is complete we'd discuss that. When the payment was deducted automatically from my account, I called the number, but the new user doesn't seem to know me. She requested for my login number I gave her but she said she can't access my account. Up till now. I think I've been too calm with them and I am taking it up now.
The worse part of it is I lost most of my contacts which means I may not be able to clarify myself. This is the worst thing ever to happen to someone.
I've mailed them concerning the issue and I'm yet to get feedback.
Pics below: brother I feel your pain. This exactly what they did to my colleague at work. It was just 10k and this criminal when ahead to message all his contact including our boss. The damage was too much to bear, he almost lost his job and trust. But on a serious note I have been thinking from that day that something has to be done, maybe forward this cruel incident to the appropriate authorities. |

Many feel indifferent about this man, others see him as an murderer but I see him as a hero of his people.
He isn't worse than the Bandits who get Government house Banquet invitations in the North West or terrorists who are given free brides by their communities in the North East.
Southerners must learn not to villify their own especially due to jealousy.
Philanthropy is a gracious art, a noble course which Bishop Ozubulu has scored well at.
I see him as a hero of his people not because I would see him as a hero if he was from my place. No, I see him as a hero of his people because to his people , a hero is who can build a mighty big house in his village and spray money in ceremonies while giving out bags of Thai rice during festive seasons.
Many will quote me to argue that a hero in my place must own a bullion van. If they do so then they are not disputing my submission...

aribisala0: Sentiments aside. I do not like the woman but the reality is there is nothing like being qualified for this particular role. Any person who has senior experience in a bureaucracy whether FIFA or WHO is qualified it is not even worth being called a "job". because it is not a job. It is a sinecure So talking about hands on experience just reveals ignorance (no disrespect) of what the DG can do. There is no executive power attached to the role so that argument does not wash. The DG has as much power as the Secretary General of the UN = ZERO The Organization is a trade organization and by definition it will never serve all interest equally. Therefore what would it look like when a suitably "qualified person" is there . Is there a realistic scenario that the WTO will end up creating a world of fair trade? There is no qualification to square that particular circle This rejection is not about qualification. you can take poison and die |

Saintinoo: FG will never pay ASUU members before they suspend strike, best they can do is to conditionally suspend the strike or FG pay them one month salary out of the four months before the suspension of strike. how old are you? Children like these shouldn't poke into serious matter with silly comments. I really think Seun should create a special channel on Naira where these kids can meet and interact among themselves. |
